Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough wonderful things about the OrthoTexas Plano PT team! I had my first major injury in my life as a 38 year old and tore my ACL and meniscus in January 2023. My OrthoTexas Frisco surgeon (shout out to Dr. K!) had me start PT about a month before my knee surgery and immediately following my surgery. No part of me is low maintenance, so the PT team really had a lot to handle, ha. For every, single appointment, they were always on time, always gave me undivided attention, and were super thorough in explaining how and what I should be doing at home to help in my knee recovery journey. I followed their instructions 98% of the time and less than 6 months post-knee surgery, I am back to doing all of the things I was pre-injury (except skiing - but that is 100% a choice on my part, 0/5 stars for skiing). The OrthoTexas Plano PT team is the best of the best! Not only do they absolutely know what they are doing, they also are hilarious and provided a really bright spot for me during some really mentally tough times during my recovery. I am glad to have my knee back but I am sad to not need this team anymore! PSA to everyone: do your PT! And do it at OrthoTexas Plano!

Positive experience: My family has used Ortho Texas for several injuries, surgeries, and physical therapy. Would recommend to anyone. Staff very friendly. First appt. Wait not very long. However, waiting 1.5.hours at follow up appt. is not acceptable need to really work on scheduling.

Fantastic experience: I just finished two months of rehab at OrthoTexas Physical Therapy. Now to be clear, I am not a post surgery rehab patient. My rehab was to strengthen my knee. But I am very familiar with physical rehab having spent six months in physical therapy in 1989 in Midland Texas. The team at OrthoTexas actually made the physical therapy enjoyable. As a normal course, physical therapy isn't fun or enjoyable but the folks working at OrthoTexas truly enjoy what they are doing and that translates to the patients. I don't remember laughing when I was in PT in 1989...I only remember not being thrilled or happy to go. I never had that feeling of dread while going to OrthoTexas. I would recommend this team to anyone who asks where to go for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Again and again I come back to Ortho Texas for physical therapy. They are the best. Once I was afraid I wouldn't be able to walk normally again. Therapy and electronic stim fixed it. When I had a rotator cuff injury, therapy fixed it. Now Susan is helping me post op with 3 surgeries on my right hand. She is thorough and knows her stuff. After one day of exercises I see a great difference. (Susan has over 30 years of experience) She is a jewel. Andrea is also great. She worked with me on my shoulder issues.

Fantastic experience: I finished 12 sessions of physical therapy at the OrthoTexas/Plano office after having arthroscopic knee surgery. My therapy plan was mapped after being evaluated by the Director. I was also given a copy of my therapy plan to work on at home. I found the entire staff to be skilled, efficient, and encouraging. The atmosphere was professional, yet warm and friendly. I really looked forward to my appointments and was highly motivated by the therapists.
