Fantastic experience: Athletico Physical Therapy is the best in town! Jamal is a wonder physical therapist and only has the best interest of his patients. I would give more stars if I could!

Jamal and his team are dedicated to helping you recover with a no nonsense approach. Fantastic experience: I came here 6 months ago in June. I tore my ACL, the bottom part of my meniscus, and stress fractured my bones on my left leg. Came here with a not so great outlook because my right knee also needs a knee replacement... and this will be my 5th therapist in the last 5 years... so I knew this was going to be tough. Jamal saw me through these last 6 months with the help of Kelsey, Akira, and Jacob. I have learned exercises from Jamal to practice at home and help strengthen my knee. If y'all knew my attitude, y'all know patience is definitely needed with me, lol. This is definitely the right place to come. Kellie also works the front desk, and she is amazing with scheduling appointments and getting all insurance issues taken care of. I am getting my knee replaced in 6 months and already plan on coming back here again to help with my knee. If you have any doubts, don't. You'll be happy you came here.

Fantastic experience: I had been in physical therapy for two years before coming to Athletico. I had regained range of motion but still didn’t have the strength necessary to go up a single stair. I saw multiple doctors and three other PT specialists and no one could tell me why my strength wasn’t getting better. After one visit to Athletico, they told me what was wrong. I’ve progressed more in three months at Athletico than I have for the previous year and a half of PT. I’m nearing the end of my program and am now able to RUN - let alone climb three flights of stairs without pain or single-leg leading. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: I had been wrestling with chronic arthritis and tennis elbow for years, and it was really beginning to limit my grip, and my ability to do very basic exercises to stay both fit, and strong. The more I exercised, the more the pain increased, resulting in me taking 1 to 3 month breaks, just to reduce the inflammation. This was a pattern that was repeating itself over years, so I finally decided to seek professional help, and thankfully I was introduced to Jamal Jefferson and his incredible team at Atheletico in West Plano. The expertise and professionalism of the team was both instructive and motivating, and not only solved my issues in 3 months, but taught me the exercises, stretches, and skills that I continue to utilize to maintain my health and fitness goals. Fantastic experience: I saw Jamal Jefferson for four weeks after dislocating my shoulder. I can confidently say that it was a great experience and I would recommend him to anyone that needs physical therapy. He was knowledgeable and professional, and was genuinely interested in my improvement. He pushed me enough for progress, but definitely listened to my limitations, and changed the exercises when needed. Jamal also provided long-term guidance for making sure my improvement sticks. Kellie on the front desk was also awesome. She provided a lot of guidance with regards to the insurance aspect, and was flexible with setting appointment times that worked for me. Would definitely go back to Plano West Athletico in the future if ever needed.

Fantastic experience: I am multisport athlete who has trained very hard my entire life - and my body is a mess at age 60. I have been to multiple physical therapists over the years too - with no luck. BUT - all that changed when I started to see Jamal and the rest of the crew at this Athletico branch. They were nothing short of fantastic, as they not only walked me through numerous mobility and exercise routines to address my severe lower back and shoulder issues, they gave me an excellent home routine too! I visited them twice per week and looked forward to every visit! The facility itself is extremely, clean, well-lit, and well-equipped too. I have had tremendous progress and could not be happier with my results.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with my physical therapy process with Jamal at Athletico! I’m less than four weeks in and I can already tell a huge difference in my knee/hip pain. I’ve tried multiple different therapists and haven’t gotten the same response or hands-on attention that Jamal & his team have given me. Jamal diagnosed my knee pain and catered a rehab regime that has worked really well for me. He puts me through multiple different strengthening exercises and always listens to my concerns or questions about my rehab process. I could not recommend Jamal more!

Fantastic experience: I have suffered shoulder pain for many years, which has affected every aspect of my life. After giving an injection on the shoulder, my doctor referred me for physical therapy. Britney is the PT who treated me at this location. She is professional and intelligent. She can always point to the problem of my pain and make a plan that works. Kellie is another gem at this facility. She helped me with billing issues. I had an enjoyable experience with Athletico-West Plano, and the result was far beyond my expectation. I would recommend Britney and Kellie in the location to anyone who seeks physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: My doctor recommended Athletico for my pain issues. Britney was excellent! She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She was able to help my pain and eliminate a lot of the pain. I can walk again and not stop because it hurts! I highly recommend her.

Fantastic experience: I want to give ten (10) stars to Brittney P. for her great work but I am limited to only five (5) stars by the system so will settle for five stars for now. PT Britney is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and a great instructor. She started me with simple steps and then soon made me increase my effort. I have noticed a lot of improvement in my condition in a very short time and hope to be completely cured very soon.
