Fantastic experience: For the last three years, I have had issues related to pelvic floor dysfunction, perineal pain, varicocele, and other challenges which changed my life in many ways. I went from teaching martial arts classes, running a burgeoning business, being highly active, confident, and strong in all ways; to having difficulty walking, sitting down, and just playing with my kids. My entire attitude, posture, personality, and activity levels were greatly diminished. When all of this started, I visited the urologist. I ended up visiting three different urologists within one year, trying medications, treatments, and just hoping that it would go away. Things got worse over time. This did lead me to changing my diet to a totally wholesome, fresh, organic, and clean diet; along with other clearing, related to the mind and spirit. I visited other specialists, read many books, did exercise and other self-healing programs, and continued to progress and digress. I finally decided to leave all fear behind, and try whatever it takes. I would have rather received more pain, than to continue as I was. I found Teena Petree, the lead therapist and pelvic floor specialist at Fyzical, by searching online. From the initial visit, I was impressed with her ability to truly listen and make quick decisions on what to do. I began to visit twice a week. After two weeks, I already started to see strengthening in the pelvic muscles, and my core muscles. She found that many of the assisting muscles were very weak due to the hypertonic state of the pfm group, which is why I continued to get worse, even when I did nothing for months. I have now had twice weekly therapy sessions with Teena and Lisa for 6 weeks. I am considerably better. I have been exercising, running, am able to have fun with my family without pain, lift weights, and can sit down normally. I am truly grateful for having found her and the Fyzical team. I drive more than one hour each way to the sessions, and am always feeling great after I leave. I highly prefer this, more holistic, and whole-body approach, over an industrial hospital setting. If you are in some sort of pelvic floor pain, rather than wait around for years, or trying to do it all on your own, you should seriously consider coming in for a visit. I am grateful for this entire tribulation, as I know it helped me come out a much better me in every single way, but it is so nice to have the pain and suffering come to an end.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Fyzical Therapy and Balance Center of North Dallas set the tone for an inviting and comfortable atmosphere the first time I called for an appointment. Even on a follow-up call to inquire about the feasibility of balance therapy while undergoing chemotherapy and post-chemo treatment, the staff assured me that is not a problem. From the beginning, I sensed a difference from other PT centers where I had received treatment. The therapists here were truly concerned about my overall health, made suggestions along the way, and worked with me one-on-one to improve my balance and pain issues resulting from neuropathy. The pain in my right foot and leg was fairly intense. I was always aware of the possibility of a fall, and my gait was "clomp, clomp." After working an exercise program and using the re-builder, the majority of pain is gone, my awareness of a correct gait is vastly improved, and I am walking with confidence and less fear of falling. Fantastic experience: I have been going to FYZICAL for the last 10 yrs for any issue or injury I have with my body. I have been through decompression for my neck to treat severe pain and another time for maintenance. I wouldn't go anywhere else for physical therapy. Teena and her staff are the best. They are hands on and they care about you. I exercise frequently doing CrossFit and running. I TRUST this place.

Fantastic experience: I had a prostatectomy twelve months back and was on a catheter for three weeks that completely atrophied my pelvic muscles that resulted in complete loss of bladder control. Through eight months of treatment which their highly professional and courteous staff I was able to regain 99% control of my bladder and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone facing the same situation as me.

Fantastic experience: I started my journey with Dr. Snehal Uparkar in mid February. I could barely be away from a restroom for half an hour. I had to make the drive each appointment from Denton to Plano. Dr. Snehal would always assure me that I will make it through this phase of incontinence. I fell in the 6 to 8 percent of men with severe incontinence. By June I was able to take a week long trip to Costa Rica. I still go to physical therapy at Summit, but not with the uncertainty I once had. I love the atmosphere that the workers at Summit displays. Martha greets everyone at the front office with pleasure and the physical therapists take over and the work begins. Thanks to Summit and their staff.

Fantastic experience: Teena Petree has helped me sooooooooooooo much. I wouldn't be able to work. I had multiple gynecological surgeries in one day and was miserable still after almost two months. She is the perfect combination of funny and compassionate!!! Dee makes it "less painful" to deal with insurances.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about how grateful I am to the wonderful staff at Fyzical. I broke my leg and after months of not walking I went to Fyzical to strengthen my leg back to normal and after a couple of months I am moving 100 percent better than I was when I arrived. If I ever needed any of the services this place offered I would go back to Fyzical. Thank you Andrew and everyone else who worked with my recovery.

Fantastic experience: FYZICAL is amazing. Teena is kind and incredibly knowledgeable. The people who work under Teena are all professionals. The style used to treat patients is designed uniquely for each type of pain. Although I am not happy to need physical therapy, there is no place that I would rather go when I am in pain!!

Fantastic experience: I came to Summit Physical Therapy in daily pain after back surgery last fall. She has worked on my back and taught me to rebuild the muscles that have eliminated the pain. I just returned from a vacation that involved lots of climbing up cobblestones streets and stone steps in ancient European cities and I handled them without difficulty. I have had years of spinal stenosis and other issues in my lower back and had in the earlier years been to other physical therapists, but Teena Petree and Summit Physical Therapy are simply the best. The vertebra in my two lowest vertebra are worn down and easily shift out of joint. Only Teena and the therapists she trains know how to straighten them out and make my legs even again which alleviates the pain. Had I known about her and visited her in late 2012, I believe I could have avoided the back fusion surgery that caused other medical issues that I live with on a daily basis. She has taught me the stretching and exercises that I do on a daily basis to keep me moving without pain.

Fantastic experience: My doctor gave me a prescription to go see Teena at Summit. He told me that "she's the best" and let me say that she is. She correctly discovered my S I problem and started helping immediately. Now my back and leg pain is almost gone. I'm feeling like me again and I'm sure in a few more visits this 67 year old will be pain free for the first time in 4 years. Thank you Teena and your staff for caring and doing what you do!

Fantastic experience: Great service! Was treated by the FYZICAL team for frozen shoulder over the course of a month. They were extremely professional, friendly, courteous, and accommodating. They employed a variety of workouts/exercises, techniques, and tools to heal my shoulder. My shoulder is significantly better now and I am able to use it normally. A big thank you to their whole team including Teena, Andrew, Shonda, and Brooke. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: The personnel at Fyzical are all very professional. I started at Fyzical with a prescription from my Ortho. doctor after back surgery. I have been using the IDD machine (traction for my back and neck) for many years. I started with 21 daily sessions, I am now doing IDD sessions every 3 weeks for maintenance of my back and neck. I know that Medicare does not pay for these sessions but they a invaluable to me. It keeps me pain free. I love that machine and the people at Fyzical.

Fantastic experience: I've been to FYZICAL 2 diffrent times for 2 diffrent injuries. 1 neck injury 1 knee injury. Andrew is a highly competent Dr of physical therapy. With both injuries I felt a diffrence from day one. The office staff is incredible. Goes out of their way to be sure insurance gives you the proper amount of visits to insure you are properly rehabilitated. Valerie, Brook, Katie and Nick do an incredible job during not so pleasant times with being injured and all. Tina runs a tight and competent staff. She takes great pride in her buisness and grrat pride in the well being of her patients

Easy to set up consultation and regular appointments. I'm pain free now. Don't know what I would have done without them! Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Teena and the staff here are great. I'd been suffering from pain for almost 2 years. The doctors just wanted to pump me full of drugs that did nothing for me at all, except waste money. A new specialist finally recommended Fyzical and it took a couple months but I'm now pain free all without any drugs. Highly recommend them. If you've had less than stellar PT experiences in the past, as I have, give Fyzical a shot because they're not like the others.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Teena for my DRA and back pain in late August after dealing with ongoing frustration with my condition. During the first visit, Teena immediately resolved my back pain. She was attentive, thorough, and highly knowledgeable. She told me her goal was to help me with the pain first so she could then address my DRA. Since then, I have noticed a drastic improvement in my core strength, which has helped me feel much more confident about myself, both physically and emotionally. I can't thank Teena enough for her help and support! She truly cares about her patients. Christina is also wonderful to work with! I can't recommend Fyzical enough.
