Pro-Active Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: From the day I had my ACL repair until now months later Tyler and Chris have helped me feel normal again. Not a single visit except that they have made themselves available for every concern and happily answered my repetitive questions. They have pretty much a 1:1 interaction time very often. I went to other chains and they toss you into a big room with many clients at the same time and it’s very frustrating not to know exactly what you’re doing right and wrong. With Tyler and Chris every exercise and every stretch is under direct attentive guidance. They are a dream team. If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I was recently having a lot of back pain, having trouble working out and doing daily tasks. I saw Dr. Tyler at the North Tampa facility on Bruce B Downs Blvd, and was extremely pleased with my rehabilitation. The office is incredibly friendly, their front desk associate Hailey is warm and inviting. They were extremely organized and timely; I never waited over my appointment time. Dr. Tyler did an excellent job with not only designing the workout plans to provide exercises I was comfortable doing but also explaining how and why each were important to my success in getting rid of my back pain. If I wasn’t able to work with Dr. Tyler, Chris stepped in and did an amazing job as well. I looked forward to each visit. Even though my physical therapy appointments have ended, the exercises he provided me I still do each day. It’s been a couple weeks and they have kept me pain free since! I am back to enjoying my workouts and feeling confident again. I would highly recommend this office!

Fantastic experience: I was told recently that I needed to have physical therapy for my back. I asked for referrals and had someone in the medical field highly recommend Tom Phan at Pro Active Physical. Even though their office was quite a distance away from my home, I decided this is important enough to go there. I made the right decision. I was very warmly welcomed. My appointment was on time. I truly can't say enough about the friendliness of the staff. In my case, going someplace when your in pain and really not wanting to be going to in the first place, I can't thank them enough for making it as pleasant experience as possible. Tom was very patient, we talked at length about how my issue needs to be addressed. He was very knowledgeable and quite helpful. I truly highly recommend this office if you are in need of physical therapy. Good Luck.

Fantastic experience: John is the most pleasant and positive doctor I have ever had. He was so calm and relaxed and upbeat about my diagnosed tennis elbow in both arms. I wanted to go in just to get some relief not just physically but emotionally as I had to deal with not being able to lift my two year old. I wanted to come back and only reason I didn't is bc my insurance changed and it would be more costly. All staff follows his upbeat positive attitude. Great company culture. Takes such good care of you! I highly recommend Pro-active. And for anyone looking to intern I would ask!

While I am always skeptical about consistent high ratings, Pro-Active lived up to them. John Hisamoto is a true professional and takes great pride in the work he does and I could not have felt more confident in the care and advice he provided. He and his staff are amazing.
