There are currently no Wounded Warrior owned Spinal Cord Injury Rehab Center of this caliber in the Tampa Area which combines the Veteran and Civilian communities. Most folks have to drive all the way to Orlando for cutting edge SCI rehabilitation work in a gym-like atmosphere. The Stay in Step Recovery Center will bring hope for spinal cord recovery right into the Tampa Bay Area.

We are a veteran founded and ran organization that provides long term rehabilitation and therapy to both veterans and civilians that suffer from a spinal cord and/or traumatic brain injury, or any other neurological disorder resulting in paralysis in the Greater Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.

Our Annual Gala celebration is our single greatest opportunity to raise awareness and the yearly funds that sustain our program. Held every September, the night is meant to highlight the achievements of our amazing clients, acknowledge the tireless efforts of our staff and recognize the contributions that others have made to support our program.

Here at Stay In Step, we utilize new age equipment and progressive therapeutic techniques to create individualized treatment plans for all our clients. We have a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy on our staff that meets with all new clients to conduct initial evaluations and determine a treatment plan that best fits your needs, goals and level of functionality.

The Jesse Karn’s Supplemental Program has been established to provide financial assistance to Individuals who are suffering and living with a catastrophic spinal cord and or brain injury. This supplemental fund is to assist qualified individuals towards their long term rehabilitation program. We offer clients the opportunity to have the ability to afford to pay for the rehab they receive here at Stay In Step. We also offer supplemental funds that work along with some health Insurances if available.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Stay In Step since they first opened in 2015, as I was a very newly injured paraplegic. I’ve had the opportunity to watch them grow and continue to provide the best care to their clients, no matter the specific needs and goals they may have. I appreciate the family-oriented and inviting atmosphere opposed to other physical therapy offices I’ve attended. If anyone is looking for a physical therapy facility to cater to a neurological condition, I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I know several people who have attended this facility and speak highly of it. I have also had the pleasure of meeting with the leaders who care deeply about their clients. While the circumstances which lead most people to this facility are unpleasant (to say the least) Stay in Step is a critical part of the recovery process. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great amazing down to earth staff very caring for patients the love and work they put into each patient it's like family they work with me almost 2 hours physical therapy the only place for me to the drive may be long but so worth.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! I am not a patient but from working with Romy, Gaby, Troy, I can say that this organization is incredible. As a non-profit long-term Rehabilitation Center, Stay in Step is there for those in the community that suffer from different levels of paralysis and neurological dysfunction, including providing support to those that cannot afford it. This group, is again, beyond amazing and nothing short of incredible.
