Rehabilitation & Healthcare of Tampa

Positive experience: My uncle has been here a number of years and he is bedridden but able to ask for what he wants. My Mother (his sister) and I go once a week to visit. I find that my uncle has formed a great bond with the nurses there and they love caring for him. No matter where your loved one is, you have to show up often because the staff will care more if they see you care more. They DO want to please you. Speak up if you don't like something and keep talking about it because the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Don't make enemies but be pleasantly persistent. There are definitely some Angels working there and I have never once come across anyone mad or rude. All places are the same... fancy or not, 4 star or not. It is all about how you respect someone and work with them to get your loved ones needs met!

Fantastic experience: I've noticed that impatient people love to give bad reviews. I would return if I needed rehabilitation again. I also noticed that patients were more crabby than the staff. Thank you too all the 2nd floor staff. Respectfully, 208A

Fantastic experience: Really great placed that has changed over the years. With new management and activities that all residents look forward to. From the famous John Jackson live show to bingo and many more activities. Recently there was a Senior Prom that everyone enjoyed! Patients had huge smiles and really enjoyed every minute of it. Really great and knowledgeable staff to talk to about all your concerns! Rooms are very spacious so patients can bring many items from home to feel at home! Therapy staff are all very friendly and know what they are doing!

Fantastic experience: They have an amazing therapy gym, friendly staff and one of a kind activities program. Last week they had a “ senior prom”! it was so fun the patients and residents loved it. Fantastic experience: My mother had a stroke and ended up at this Rehab. At first, I was very unsure. They went above and beyond to help my mom and me get adjusted. The staff is so professional and the nurses are very caring. After mom left (4 mos later) she cried missing the caregivers, nurses and Doctors that were so sweet and loving to her at this rehab. All this during Covid19 Quarantine. No one was allowed to visit. The only negative: no phones in the rooms.

Fantastic experience: With everything going and having to put my love one in a nursing home I was scared. But we definitely made the right decision with this place. My uncle is very happy and tells me staff is great. Administration staff is very informative keeping me in the loop of what going on and update from the building. From I face time he looks good and happy for the most part and from what he tells me place is clean and organized and food is good. So thank you to this place for caring for my love one.

Fantastic experience: My Mother needed to go to to a rehab facility during the Covid-19 pandemic. We were not able to visit any facilities to make sure we would place her in a safe, caring place. I spoke with Donna in admissions. Donna answered all of my questions and explained what the facility was doing to keep it's patients safe. I am a Nurse and I'm very particular about the care of my family. I am very happy with the care my Mother has received. She is doing well and getting stronger every day. My Mother feels safe and cared for at this facility.

Fantastic experience: I really love having my loved one at this building. I’ve toured other buildings in the area and fell in love with Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Tampa. The kindness and professionalism from the staff really drew me to it. My loved one has made such progress its unbelievable. The staff all really do care and they’re nothing but helpful. From the nurses to the aids and the therapy department is outstanding. Even the front office staff is so amazing. We won’t go anywhere else EVER. Thank you Rehabilitation and Healthcare of Tampa for giving me peace of mind.

Fantastic experience: I was admitted about a month ago. All I can say is wonderful things about this place. They received me with open arms. My first impression very clean and organized facility. As well as Very nice attentive staffs in all departments, very accommodating to my needs and concern. The administrator to the facility came and gave me haircut since we can not have visitors in the building. Maintenance help set up my TV, kitchen manager met up with me and accommodated my meal preference. Therapy has been great and very patience an understanding with me and help me get through my therapy and cheer me on. Nursing staff very nice. Social services came to check on me to make sure I am ok and comfortable. Housekeeping staff continuously come in to my room to clean and disinfectant all areas. Over all I have to say this building by far is amazing and I am grateful to be able to be here and get my therapy so I can soon be home.

Fantastic experience: I have not been able to see my husband since July when he was admitted to the hospital then transfer to this facility. Due to Covid there has not been any visits allowed but today the building made arrangement for me to see my husband for the first time since July. I was beyond impressed how the process went. I was first screened as I walk in then I had to attend a training provided by the building then I was given full ppe to then be able to go see him. I was so impressed of how the building look very clean and friendly staff. My husband is beyond well taken care for . I appreciate so much this building for taking care of my love one in every way .my family and I our beyond blessed for this building and staff.

Fantastic experience: This facility has a lot to offer for your loved ones. The staffing is on point from administration to nursing to dietary. The staff works hard to please every resident/ patient and meet their needs. During their stay, there are activities that go on everyday that families can also be involved in. This is an all hands on deck facility. Team work makes the dream work.

Fantastic experience: Very good customer service and care for my aunt. She had to stay but they really make her feel like family. When I had an issue they really jumped on it and got back to me. I can relax knowing she is in good caring hands.

Fantastic experience: My friend needed rehab and the hospital recommended we tour to pick a place. We toured Rehab and Healthcare of Tampa first and picked it right away. The facility was clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Her stay was just as good. The rehab really pushed her. The nurses made sure her doctor was always informed. She requested some different foods and the food manager was very accommodating. There was even a customer service person who checked on her frequently. She was back home very quickly. #recommended

Fantastic experience: Went in for the job fair , staff was very pleasant with a big smile on their faces started greeting you at the door, interview went smoothly they tell you exactly what you needed to know . This is the place where every nurses should come and work rehabilitation & Healthcare rocks. Thank God for NURSES.

Fantastic experience: I came to Tampa as a new team member and I have not worked with such a dedicated team of professionals. Each and every day we work to enhance the patient experience through our dedication to customer service and development of our staff members.

Fantastic experience: Our Dad was very sick and had to go to a rehab center. Rehabilitation and HC of Tampa really took good care of him. They allowed us to visit often. He requested a room change and they moved him that evening. The c.n.a's treated him very kind and were very careful with his pain. They sent a concierge to him and they even called us to introduce themselves. After he was discharged home they called to check on him. If we need them again, we will use them. Hopefully, we won't!!!
