Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at the downtown location of NovaCare Rehabilitation and especially my work for Chad J. Chad was an excellent physical therapist who took the time to listen to what I was feeling and then designed a plan to help me get on the path to recovery. You could tell that he cared about his patients and takes pride in his work.

Fantastic experience: James Wilgus pt was smart and caring. He was tuned into my specific therapy needs, and he had a sense of humor. He also made the effective point that my positive attitude would be as important as exercise. He relaxed me to the extent I look forward to our next session.

Fantastic experience: After surgery for a total ankle replacement, I spent three months in physical therapy with Jim Wilgus at the Grant Bone and Joint Center. My recovery began right away with the excellent goals that Jim set for me. I am back at my gym now using the things I learned at NovaCare. I would go back again anytime I might need the excellent care I received from trained therapists like Jim.

Fantastic experience: Kim and Jacqueline in the PT area are awesome. Smart, helpful, and super friendly.

Fantastic experience: Stephanie was attentive even when she had multiple patients in the same time slot due to reduced staff. She is knowledgable and answered all of my questions thoroughly and with understanding. I wouldn't hesitate to sign up with her again if the need should arise.

Fantastic experience: I love the staff at the E. Town Street location (Grant Hospital). The place is clean. If you have a wait time at all it is very minimal. My therapist is James and I couldn't ask for a better therapist. I will soon be needing physical therapy and will request James for that.

Fantastic experience: I had always had doubts about physical therapy until I found Pete at Novacare. He listened to my pain and my problems without judgement and helped me start from the very beginning. 6 weeks later and my pain is much better! I highly recommend Pete and would give ten stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Excellent Physical Therapy at Novacare. I’ve gone to a couple of locations and the PTs there really care! In just my first two sessions with Peter, he has figured out the source and given me very specific exercises that are already addressing my right hip pain that felt so deep and unreachable that I didn’t believe it could improve. In addition to giving me handouts with sketches of each exercise to do at home, I m also sent a follow up email with this link to the Novacare app that has each exercise via video so I can do it properly at home —and also to ‘click done’ , you know, for that feeling of accomplishment! Long after my last session I’ll have these tools to access. I waited way too long to start PT at Novacare -OhioHealth. I could have been better already but better late than never.

Fantastic experience: Luke has been fantastic with helping me rehab my knee and hip. The facilities at Grant hospital are clean and stocked with sufficient equipment to get yourself on track.

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Nova Care, the downtown location in Columbus Ohio especially my physical therapist Pete in helping me recover from back surgery teaching me how important exercising on a daily basis. Is a big part of physical rehab. Pete has helped me strengthen my core and abdominal muscles, controlling my pain. I have came a long way and still have a way to go but with the physical rehab programs I have learned exercising makes a big difference in healing. I'm very grateful and thankful for Nova Care and Pete, The physical rehab programs have made a big difference in my life.

Fantastic experience: Both the receptionists and the therapists are personable, thorough and accommodating to help you reach your goals. I recovered here after two major surgeries and in 8 months, worked with multiple physical therapists and orthopedic therapists here and it was definitely a highlight in the middle of a rough time

Fantastic experience: Everyone has been amazing. I can speak specifically on the occupational therapy and hand therapists. I had an injury which required months of therapy and have been very pleased. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable. Cannot recommend NovaCare enough!

Fantastic experience: Luke & Laura rock! From my beginning evaluation, to my last appointment, I felt valued, important, & worthy of their time & attention. The atmosphere is not sterile & cold, but warm & friendly. You get to know all the Therapists, not just yours. Luke & Laura were always friendly & genuinely concerned about my pain & progress. Their calm, collected, yet focused style was just what I needed. I did my homework & they did their job. 8.5 weeks after surgery & I’m almost ready to go Back to work, after a full knee replacement! I cannot recommend them highly enough… The covered valet parking was an added bonus, along with the ice wrap.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team here! Helped me after my meniscus repair surgery. Kind, funny, knowledgeable, and all around great people! Special shoutouts to Pete, Luke, and Laura…y’all have helped me recover much faster than I thought I could!

Fantastic experience: Great care from the NovaCare team at the downtown location. The location was stress free with valet parking and the staff were friendly. My vestibular physical therapist Chad was outstanding and continued to work with me until my issues were resolved. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust Chad and the team for help in the future.

Fantastic experience: The staff was amazing. I came there with a broken femer with a rod in my leg. Came in on a walker then went to a cane. Today I can walk on my own. They worked with me for about 3 months. I'm so glad for everything they done for me and got to where I'm at today. I want to give a big shout out to Luke my therapist. He worked with me and pushed me to do what I had to do. I would get upset but Luke was very patient with me. Never gave up on me. Peter also worked with me. He was a very very nice person also. I recommend any that needs therapy. I suggest you go there. Thank you staff for everything you did for me. I'm so grateful the progress

Fantastic experience: Luke was my primary physical therapist though I had the opportunity to work with Lisa and Laura. They all were very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They all seemed very nice and it seems like they enjoy what they do. I was referred for a neck strain, Luke taught me exercises I could utilize everyday at home to strengthen my neck muscles so I could perform my job relatively pain free. Luke also did a good job dealing with me when I cried several times because I was tired of being in pain. (So embarrassing)

Fantastic experience: We just left the office of our primary care physician and drove here to find the location and figure out parking. We came inside NovaCare Rehabilitation, and the receptionist was so pleasant! The order for Physical Therapy hadn’t even come into their system, but she was able to use the info that we showed from MyChart on the phone and found the doctor’s order. We’ve already got an appointment scheduled for tomorrow! Wow, so friendly and efficient. And through the doorway I noticed therapists smiling and very pleasant with their patients. What a great first encounter!

Fantastic experience: I’m not going to lie. Was sent by my doctor and was resentful at having to take physical therapy. Turns out this was a blessing. Everyone is so nice, from front desk staff to the physical therapist. Peter Post was my therapist and he is so caring and knowledgeable and exceeded my expectations. He was thorough in assessing the issue with my back and hip and tailored my exercises to strengthen my core and legs, helping to reduce my pain. He took me as far as he could and prescribed a variety of different exercises I can do at home to continue with strengthening my body to help control my arthritic pain.

Fantastic experience: Valerie is an amazing therapist. She’s patient, kind and very knowledgeable of her profession. I look forward to our sessions because she is very helpful and fun to work with.

Fantastic experience: Peter helped me recover from my back strain. He is really professional, knowledgeable and caring. The whole appointment process was smooth and I had good experiences communicating with them. Highly recommend this facility if you need PT.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Pete to recover from shoulder surgery after suffering a broken collarbone. I made more progress during that time than I could have imagined. Pete gave information on why we were using certain exercises and stretches, and gave a full road map of how we would approach recovery. I could not have made that level of progress on my own and I would recommend NovaCare in general and Pete Post specifically for anyone recovering from injury. I would give 10 stars if I could - it was life changing to recover this well.

Fantastic experience: I was very very satisfied with Nova Care and my therapist Peter Post. A great therapist. Serious, Concern, and thorough. A hard worker and a go geter. My experience with Pet was great if I even need more therapy on another area he will always b my first choice.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the NovaCare Rehabilitation Center at Grant Hospital sets this facility apart from any other. NANCY , at the front desk is the sweetest woman. She is funny, friendly and extremely good at her job. She is the reason that I get excited to go to physical therapy, because her smiling face is guaranteed to put a smile on mine. The other two ladies up front are just as friendly and helpful, I just haven’t had as much interaction with them, but they are both very kind and I enjoy seeing them both when I come in. JIM (James), is the physical therapist that I work with, as he is the therapist who works with my surgeons patients. (Dr. Brian Steginsky). Jim is incredible. He is friendly, confident, funny and thoroughly well versed in the preferred therapy methods assigned by Dr. Steginsky. I never feel rushed when working with Jim and he always reassures me whenever I feel concerned or defeated in my recovery. He has an excellent memory as well, as I’m sure he sees many patients, but he always remembers the conversations we’ve had in previous sessions. Honestly, if it weren’t for Nancy and Jim, I’m not sure I would have continued my prescribed physical therapy, but they are both such wonderful people that I WANT to go there just to be able see them and chat with them. Plus, it’s been SO EASY to get there, as the surgeons office is in the same building and they have valet parking for patients like me who are using assisted mobility devices. It’s a great location with great staff. Oh!! And masks are optional while in the rehab facility, despite it being housed inside the hospital which is very nice.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Peter Post at the NovaCare at Grant Medical Center for 3-4 months following a broken left arm that was surgically fixed. Pete was outstanding to work with from day one. He developed a great plan for my recovery, initially focusing on regaining range of motion and then working on strength. He incorporated a lot of manual stretching and massage, which I think was really beneficial and something I had not experienced as much with prior PT. He always provided a detailed home exercise plan. Now just 4 months after my injury, I’m back at my gym doing light snatches, assisted-pullups, etc. Coaches were very impressed with how quickly my recovery has been and most all of that is thanks to working with Pete. I would highly working with Pete at NovaCare in Grant Medical Center. Additionally, the front desk staff there was always extremely nice and helpful with scheduling/changing appointment times.

Fantastic experience: I have never done rehab PT before, and hope I never have to do it again, but these guys were great. Left anterior full hip replacement. Week one I couldn’t do a leg lift with that leg. Week six I’m walking again like normal. Amazing. I give Dr. Campbell at OrthoOne credit, but I give NovaCare big time credit too. I had been warned that PT could be brutal, but they were really very thoughtful and gentle. And gave me a carefully planned set of stretches and exercises to continue at home after I finished PT with them. Very convenient if you live or work near downtown. Free valet parking out front on Town Street (while walking is still difficult). Free garage parking one block away at Grant Blue garage (once you can—happily—walk again). Highly recommended. Could not ask for more.

Fantastic experience: I had PT for several months post surgery and my experience at NovaCare was excellent. My therapist Peter is amazing! He was knowledgeable, encouraging, and challenging. His expertise guided me during the length of my extended healing time and his treatment plan pushed me to make continuous progress. My arm is now to my pre-injury function. I am grateful to Peter and the team at NovaCare (Grant Bone and Joint location) for my successful recovery.

Fantastic experience: I think Grant Hospital is the best kept secret! Everyone has been super professional, Covid conscience, personable, caring and so knowledgeable about physical therapy and each clients needs. I had Valerie, and she was fabulous!!! I went from my wrist that was operated on and functioning at a 1 and pain while using to full use of my hand and wrist:) I am so grateful for her and the Nova staff and would highly recommend them:))

Fantastic experience: Novacare rehabilitation offers excellent service with some very knowledgeable and motivational therapists to guide the journey. I had the pleasure of working with several of them through my time and each one showed true care for their patient. Most of the time, I was working with Pete and words cant express how awesome he was throughout the entire process. He is very knowledgeable and such a genuine individual it made the process a lot easier. They will push you to ensure you see the results needed for recovery. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: My physical therapist, Pete, was exactly what I needed. He asked all the right questions and was very thorough. He had a reassuring way about him and was VERY patient! It became obvious, that he truly cared about my outcome and listened to any concerns. Last but not least, he gave me the tools to maintain my new level of mobility. Fantastic experience: I am motivated and looking forward to this healing journey with my PT Lisa Gaier. She is very knowledgeable and each session has variety. The staff are friendly and there is laughs and motivation from everyone. Even the front desk staff.

Fantastic experience: Valerie is very thorough, knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate and attentive. She made sure we made the most of my time with her along with sending home all the information I needed on exercises and items purchased for home care. Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this place after work for several weeks now and absolutely love it! I have graduated from physical therapy. Peter Post was the physical therapist that worked with me and really got me to pay extra attention to my posture and the way I’m holding my neck to reduce neck pain. He was very thorough and informative. My range of motion improved greatly in a short span of time by doing the recommended exercises I was shown in physical therapy. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and friendly each time I went in. I saw one other physical therapist when Peter was out and also had a good experience. As well, this place brought attention to my blood pressure issues back in February and I was able to get that treated and under control before proceeding with the physical therapy. I feel much better and healthier! I plan to return for any other physical therapy needs. I also am able to do so much more than I was able to do last year since my neck pain has been addressed. Thank you all so much for all your help!

Fantastic experience: From the moment I walked into the facility I received top notch care from all and sundry. My physical therapist, Emily is awesome; she continually showed meticulousness, expertise and compassion during my sessions. She also provided me with the necessary tools to ensure I become pain-free and went above and beyond to answer some questions I had after my therapy sessions had concluded. Their facility is stocked with all modern equipment. They also have a virtual assistant that can help you track exercises and communicate with your therapist. I highly recommend.
