Fantastic experience: DEFINITELY NOT YOUR ORDINARY PHYSICAL THERAPIST!!! After having lower back, hip and sciatic pain for years, I was ready to do almost ANYTHING for relief. I tried physical therapy elsewhere with no tangible results. So I went to Athletic Advantage. Mark quickly diagnosed my problems and we went to work. Mark compared me to a knotted ball of yarn that needed to be unraveled. Even though I eventually had to have back surgery for what I discovered was a genetic back problem, Mark has helped me to tremendously lessen my pain and strengthen my body. Coming to grips with this genetic back problem has been difficult both physically and emotionally; however with Mark’s steady encouragement and coaching, I am now on the road toward creating a pain free life. Since my pain is now diminished by about 85-90%, I KNOW I’ll get there!! The professionalism and pursuit of excellence of Mark and his staff are unmatched, and I can only express my profound appreciation for their hard work on my behalf. THANK YOU MARK AND STAFF!!

Mark Read helped me sooo much at a time when other PT and Dr. gave up on the continued issues I was having after a hip replacement. Mark listened with such a caring empathetic heart and helped me sooo much with scar tissue and other issues that developed from it by using myofascial work and looking at my whole body, not just my hip. He is so knowledgeable and gifted at what he does and explains things so well and made me laugh at times I wanted to cry. I will be forever thankful. Then 2 years later I started seeing Bethany at Athletic Advantage for a shoulder/back issues and once again, she has and continues to help me sooo much!! She is the kindest, most caring, empathetic knowledgeable therapist/ person and really listens. She looks at the whole body and explains things so I can understand. She has helped and continues to help me with myosfascial work, cupping, and dry needling and gifted hands of healing. I have told soo many people about how Athletic Advantage was a God send to me. And Shannon at the front desk is as sweet as they come and always soo helpful and prompt on helping with insurance stuff or anything. Its like no other PT facility in Columbus. Fantastic experience: I feel privileged to be able to go to Athletic Advantage for a long-standing issue with my neck. I am getting lasting pain relief and am so encouraged that Mark's techniques realign the vertebrate and then begin to work on the muscular problems surrounding the spine. This office has a totally different approach to PT- the first place I went was "do this exercise and I'll check back with you in a few minutes" and they charged twice as much. For actual healing and improvement you need to go here!!

Fantastic experience: Andrew at PT Advantage has my highest recommendation. After working with two different PTs at separate practices with no progress, I first went to see Andrew in a walking boot 2 weeks before running the Boston Marathon. In 6 visits over 2 weeks, he managed to fix me in time to run the race! Andrew takes time to listen to you as a patient and prioritizes his treatment plan to match your athletic goals. He is thorough and always provides activities for you to complete at home to further strengthen your problem areas. Not only is he a great PT, but he is also personable and takes an interest in getting to know you as a person. As an avid runner for years, I have worked with many Physical Therapists and Andrew is by far been the best. Lastly, the staff at PT Advantage are helpful, friendly, and go out of their way to make scheduling appointments simple. I can't recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Many therapy places I've visited only follow printouts and textbooks to treat symptoms. Mark and his team are great about finding the source of the problem. Not very effective to replacing tires on your car if you have an alignment problem. Despite being out of network, more efficient and cost effective overall.

Fantastic experience: Mark and Andrew are just phenomenal at what they do! First of all, I always feel welcomed when I enter the office by their friendly demeanor. I have been seeing Andrew for a few months now and he definitely was able to work through some of my problem areas. He is very knowledgeable in regards to where the muscle travels to and how they impact the spot that’s in pain. Finding someone knowledgeable in myofascial release has been so great for my body! I regret not finding them earlier when I attended PT sessions and literally just learned exercises that I could’ve found on YouTube. I would highly recommend him/them with 100% confidence that you would be feeling better in no time at all.

I have been to general practitioners, orthopedic doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists for neck, leg and hip pain for the past 30 years.
