Athletico Physical Therapy - Dallas Downtown

Fantastic experience: Harrison Whitaker is the best physical therapist I have ever been with in my life. The last couple of years have been difficult. After almost a year of pain and trying different physical therapists, I came to Harrison. He realized something was out of normal and helped in identifying a rare bone disease, which even my doctors had overlooked, that was deteriorating my hip. He has worked with me through two surgeries, lots of pain, discomfort and has been my rock through my rehabilitation. I was just discharged recently and he still takes the time out to check up on me. Harrison is the greatest!

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Adrian, most of all and the staff at Athletico. Adrian helped me get my life back, and I am forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: As someone who’s been to a few different PT places, Athletico Downtown is by far the best physical therapy place! Everyone is incredibly friendly and attentive. Harrison really took all of my concerns seriously and came up with a plan that addressed everything about my injury. Caroline was also insanely helpful and just an overall great person to interact with despite it being super early in the morning. Couldn’t recommend this place and staff more!

Fantastic experience: I'm one who is not easily impressed but my Athletico experience has been exceptional! My therapist, Adrian, is superb. She has addressed my needs, provided exceptional care and expertise related to my broken hand, explained in layman's terms precisely what she needs from me and flawlessly created a warm environment in which I feel comfortable and relaxed. I've had many sports injuries throughout my long life and quite frankly, Adrian is the most precise therapist I've ever had. Thank you Athletico for providing such a welcoming facility where everyone I've met is exceptional. I actually look forward to my sessions and that is a change for me!

Fantastic experience: PT Alex was amazing with explaining how we going to address my issue, homework exercises and therapy sessions. With his guidance, I was able to correct my issues and in the process made me better ‘Older’ runner. I am very appreciative with him and his staff. Bonus this location was close to my work!

Fantastic experience: Unbelievable experience. Have had a couple of prior injuries and PT specialists (not the best experience) and none of those experiences come close to what Alex and his team provided. Alex went through the physical therapy process with professionalism, expertise, and a great attitude. There was an initial assessment to establish a baseline, Alex asked me about my goals, and then created a program that catered to my needs/pain levels as well as my doctor’s recommendations. He and his team gave me various exercises and stretches that quelled my fears on re-injury and gave me confidence (and results!) to continue with their tailored program. It’s a process (and Rome wasn’t built in a day), but if you follow Alex’s program, come into PT appointments ready to make progress, and ask for feedback/tips, then I’m sure you’ll have a similar experience that I did. To Alex and team at Athletico, thank you!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience from start to finish. Alex is exceptional at understanding the diagnosis, setting realistic goals, and building a recovery program that fits your lifestyle. After a major tear to my PCL I expected to be out of commission for many months but after 12 weeks of working with Alex my Orthopedic Dr says I have avoided surgery and beat his expectations for recovery time. I’m 44 years old and my body does not heal like it used to but Alex knows how to get results and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely LOVED my experience here!! I primarily worked with Tiffany but almost everyone here worked with me/helped me at some point and genuinely every person on staff was a joy to meet and work with and get to know. I came in for a knee injury and have improved so much by coming here. Have to leave bc I’m moving and will miss the friendly and fun atmosphere of Athletico. 100/10 recommend coming here :)

Fantastic experience: What a great place. The people are awesome and highly knowledgeable. They helped me make a full recovery from chronic elbow pain. Not only did I enjoy the process, but I enjoyed their hospitality. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in need of physical therapy.

My therapist Alex was top notch. His care and guidance helped me meet my goals quickly. It was always great being greeted by Christy’s smile and enthusiasm. Fantastic experience: We were in town for the weekend for my daughter’s beach volleyball tournament and literally LUCKED out finding Rich Lowlicht at Athletico. My daughter had quad muscle issues and we weren’t sure she would able to play. Rich and the athletico team got her in immediately and gave so much great attention to her and her injury, even knowing we lived out of town and likely would not be back. AND Rich got her back on the court, where she did quite well! Thanks to everyone at Athletico!

Fantastic experience: I started feeling severe pain to walk this morning and called in for the appointment and they were able to see me right away without requiring a doctor referral. Tonda is a great therapist and nice and kind. i felt better after a session with her. The front desk lady was also super nice and came out to help me find the entrance and with doors. The staff here are simply awesome!!

Fantastic experience: Adrian and Cristy are very friendly, customer service is top notch. My son is satisfied with his sessions. After surgery he complained about his limb and wanted it removed. Now he is confident that he is on the right track. Only 2 wks into our 3 month plan he is feeling like his self again and ready to get back on the field. Thanks!

Fantastic experience: Wow! I hobbled into Athletico several weeks ago after knee surgery and those magicians got me back to normal quickly, painlessly, and professionally. I'm very happy with my healing experience here. Kenton and Robert are amazing, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They're open before work and after, so if you work downtown and need physical therapy, the convenience factor takes them over the top. Thanks Athletico!

Fantastic experience: So far everyone has been wonderful at this location! They’re all super respectful and seems like they really know their stuff. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Richard, Tonya, and Robert. I’m so looking forward to what they can do for me to get me back to a pain free lifestyle. And I’ve noticed that all of the staff speaks Spanish, which is super helpful for our Spanish speaking population. Parking and getting to the location is simple and easy, plus they cover the parking fee, which is everything in downtown Dallas.

Fantastic experience: I came to this facility for essential physiotherapy for arthroscopic knee surgery after an awful experience elsewhere. That facility (OrthoTexas, Carrollton) had 20-minute lines to check out. Rude staff who had apparently never been taught how to treat the customer. Management that was clueless. Athletico downtown was a breath of fresh air. Attentive, engaged physiotherapists. Pleasant and professional support staff. Everyone knew my name. New staff, hired during my program of treatment, were trained to the same standards. I would use Athletico again without hesitation and recommend this facility to my friends and business colleagues.

Fantastic experience: The team at Athletico were super accommodating when it came to appointment times and working with my issues. There was a significant opportunity for me to learn about my injury and why the exercises were working to benefit me. Really knowledgeable staff and just amazing service.

They personalized my therapy so I could reach my goal of getting back to CrossFit after a knee surgery that resulted in some muscle imbalance. Every day of therapy was challenging and fun. Also the technology they use to track patient progress is very cool.

Fantastic experience: Athletico Therapy on Elm St. in downtown Dallas was great. Both Kenton and Robert are great. Also they provide free parking since normally all parking is at a cost in downtown. I went for a torn MCL and I feel better than ever. They both worked with my work schedule. The customer service is great even Chloe the receptionist is great. The team is definitely there to help you. I’m really happy with my results and this team definitely deserves an award. Thank you Athletico. I’ll be sure to recommend anyone I know if they they need physical therapy straight to you guys. Thank a million times.

The team in this location had a great impact on my condition, they are amazing, very professional, convenient hours. Robert, Kenton, Chloe, and Tonda are all amazing. Fantastic experience: My mother's therapy here has been truly amazing. She has progressed tremendously since enrolling 6 weeks ago. Robert and Ken are very attentive and engaged when working with mom. The young lady at the front desk, Chloe is very nice and welcoming.
