Negative experience: I had a reverse shoulder replacement on my right arm three weeks ago so I explained to the worker who answered my call that I cannot write or drive yet so I could sign the papers when I go for the assessment. She said she was not at the Harlingen office so I would have to sign first. Previously provided insurance. Driver license. Physician script. Treatment protocol and yet still all these people care about is signing payment consent. Before even meeting them. You had all the info you needed to confirm insurance and bill for payment. I did not curse at your staff. I told them this process is cruel since your job is to help me learn how to use my arm not force me to write out a bunch of documents. I would never go to your facility with this horrible lack of compassion. I already have a PT service elsewhere. Im going to a place that helped me without shaming me for not being able to write. I offered to dictate the answers to your intake forms but she would not help me. Offered to use a dictated word document but that wasn't good enough. Thanks for the great accommodation. Your service is rude and lacking in every way. All you care about is a signature for billing. Please delete my personal documents from your system.I dont trust you and should have never emailed them to you.

Negative experience: Have been trying for two months to get my Worker's Comp approved and this place keeps giving me the run-around. My do tors office was able to, this place is full of excuses.

Negative experience: The place is clean, staff is friendly but they can’t seem to figure out their payment system. After 3 sessions I received a call if I could bring in my receipts because they have an on going glitch in their system that can’t seem to keep track of who paid for their visit and who didn’t…. I felt embarrassed by the questioning and trying to go thru each session and how I paid card or cash…. Very inconvenient, I was spoken to as if I had stolen something and We started treatment 2 weeks ago…Well if they can’t seem to figure this out how can I have any confidence in the physical therapy being given to my child. Very unorganized. We will no longer be going there.

Fantastic experience: I'm very happy with the professional and caring support given to me during my current therapies that I've received. From the front desk to all that have helped me in my therapy journey after my stroke, awesome great job. When I mentioned Back to Action to my VA doctor/team, they were well aware of the place and agreed to a great choice If you're looking for a great therapy place, Back to Action is where it's at for me.

Negative experience: Place sucks. If you are an injured person, find somewhere else to get therapy. The main therapist here Ron i believe was his name total douchebag. A holier than thou attitude. Looks down on others. Total tool of a person. Stay far away from this place and find somewhere where they can actually help you.

Negative experience: Today was a tough day for me, but I went in to therapy anyway. I informed the young women who was assisting me that I was not well today, and that I could not do my regular pool therapy. I told her I was hoping they could help me reduce my pain and discomfort by another form of therapy. They young lady said of course and that she would get me started on wax therapy. Five minutes in to the appointment, I was approached by Ron (therapist). He aggressively said that I belonged in the water and by them having me do wax therapy he was not going to get PAID. He said this with so much anger and irritation, as if I had done something terribly wrong. I said, how was I supposed to know how everything worked? I was never informed of this before. He hovered over me with a heated expression that made the situation feel very threatening. Not only was I shocked by this behavior, but it angered me. I responded by saying that it was upsetting that his focus was not on patient care but rather about money, and that I felt attacked by his approach. He just laughed at me which was even more belittling. I told them to take the wax off of me and that I was leaving. I left feeling worse than when I had come in. Just a little information about Ron: he does not even participate in your therapy session. He just sits in the gym area and looks around. Not once has he ever greeted me nor observed my water therapy sessions. If you’re looking for a location with a one-to-one session with a personable therapist at the very least, this is not the location for you. I’m positive the good ratings this place receives online is only due to the wonderful trainees who assist patients with the care they deserve.

Fantastic experience: Back to Action Physical Therapy in Brownsville was a wonderful experience! It was recommended to me to help with lower back pain. The environment was so lovely and professional. I was always greeted with a warm welcome by all staff. The therapist (Ron) took his time with the initial visit to hear me out and evaluate my condition. The facility was all clean and sanitized after every use, which it very important due to the pandemic we are currently facing. I was able to improve in my abilities of mobility as well as pain level. Fantastic experience: I am very pleased with my sessions at Back To Action Physical Therapy because they are very careful to provide the proper exercise without being overly aggressive. I have done the gym and water therapy and found that each time I have improved my range of motion by the end of my prescribed sessions.
