Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Fort Worth

Fantastic experience: I spent 3 1/2 months with these amazing people. They were angels in my life. I was in a motorcycle accident in December of 2012. Drs Thomason and Hamilton were incredible. Wherever you are get here to rehab. You will see what is possible. Glory to God for the Nurses Mary Thomas, Courtney Vis, Star. Physical therapists Lauren, Dene, Amy, Kaley Leah. Christina. The list goes on and on

Fantastic experience: Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation is an unbelievably awesome rehab hospital! Everyday I was there, I was blown away by the dedication, commitment, care, & the REAL hard work physical therapist Kara & Brandi Lyn exhibited as they worked with my daddy. My daddy's nurse's Correne & Mina , & Elsie, took such great care of him and always did everything they could to assure my daddy's comfort. All the staff were awesome! I was absolutely amazed at the progress my daddy made in the few weeks he was at Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation. This Rehabilitation Institute is truly the Best! My dad is getting stronger every day - a stroke has nothing on my Daddy. Thanks to God & Baylor Institute of Rehabilitation.

Fantastic experience: There are not enough positive words to describe my experience at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation, BIR MAIN. The entire staff of therapists, nurses, techs, doctors are incredible! My recovery from major back surgery was greatly accelerated by my rehab there. If you will be needing rehab for any reason, I strongly recommend this facility! My appreciation is without limits! Christina Fazio is an outstanding physical therapist, and I have the highest regard for her expertise.

Fantastic experience: The people that work here are absolutely the best. They have done so much for my husband in his recovery from a spinal cord injury. He has a long way to go, but they have helped him tremendously. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I feel like the occupational therapist and physical therapist shows concern for my well being of being able to perform some everyday task with no help to minimum help. I am feeling more confident in my progress to perform task on my own. The help I receive to make me stronger has given me more hope to longevity for my life and adapting more to my life changed situation.

Fantastic experience: We cannot express our gratitude and love for everyone at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with love and respect. In no time at all, my daughter went from being unable to talk, walk and even sit up to speaking in full sentences, laughing and walking on her own. They took a very difficult time in our lives and turned it to one full of hope and joy. Dr. Dubiel is one of the most remarkable doctors we have ever known. I cannot say enough good things about her. The entire rehab team, nurses, doctors, techs, housekeeping, truly everyone was excellent.

Fantastic experience: I just wished I had taken down of all the PT people, the nurses, the aides, they were really good to me and I can be a terror at times. We all got along and they were so sweet, even when it came to going to the bathroom. I can't say enough good things about them.

Fantastic experience: I'm 70 with a hip replacement. I had 4 weeks'"pre-op" therapy customized to build up my hip muscles which really reduced my post-op therapy (repeated at Landry). Shoutouts to Chris, Josh and Aariq for meeting my schedule and being informative. If you're willing to put in the work, they'll be at your side - or they'll leave you to exercise, carefully assessing progress. Chris is "the adult in the room", but all therapists can step . Bilingual staff is good.. office manages insurance & schedule well. in

Fantastic experience: I wish I could give 10 stars Everyone that works here from the PT ,OT, PCT,NURSES, DOCTORS,CASE WORKERS, DIETARY AIDES ARE ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL & AMAZING SO NICE & FRIENDLY !! Everyone is very professional, very polite, always checking on the patients always willing to give a helping hand . BSW REHAB has the most supportive amazing PT & OT staff and the Gym here is SUPER HUGE and has everything and anything that you would need to really rehabilitate back to normal abilities of ADLs ....Will Definitely recommend this rehab for anybody that needs PT or OT

Fantastic experience: During my wife's initial physical evaluation Kelly was honest and determined that Nancy needed a more calm environment to enable Nancy to concentrate and comprehend the instructions being given for the most benefit. As promised, Kelly researched and found the in-home therapist we needed. The couple of weeks it took to get the program started with therapist Cheryl Oliver from Real Life Rehab. After just two visits it seems Cheryl's rehabilitation ciricullum is what will be beneficial for Nancy. Thank you

Fantastic experience: BSWRI is like being at home where your every need and concern are taking care of. The nurses, techs, doctors and therapy tech are all here to help you back to your life at home. It is a loving and safe environment in the middle of Dallas right across the street from BAYLOR DALLAS. It is a great place to recover and have people around you that have nothing but your best interest at heart. The most important part is that it is right there by Baylor Dallas. So if you find yourself with a surgery that requires rehabilitation then look no further than across from BAYLOR DALLAS. Unfortunately I have had to come here twice due to back surgery and every time I felt like I was leaving somewhere were I was cared for every minute of every day. As you can see I can’t say enough about BSWRI.

Fantastic experience: My husband was in the impatient rehab facility for 17 days prior weeks before my husband wasn’t able to walk but when he left the facility he was walking. The team of OT, PT, doctors and speech therapist were phenomenal. My husband has continued out patient therapy and doing great!!!!!

Positive experience: My experience was I was a floor Tech evs . The job was easy as for supervisor is a different story. I respect a few people at this place . The Housekeeping supervisor is very unfortunately very negative my opinion she need to retired I love what I do but you can't work unfortunately under negative attitude. I really did like to working there but if you get rid of that negative attitude cancer supervisor things would be good. This only my opinion bless the real working evs staff .

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I have been here, and the doctors, nurses, technicians, and therapist are awesome! The only negative is the dietary team that on more than one occasion did not take meal requests and was served items I would have never requested. Though I brought it to the attention of several people, it did not get any better. Thank you Dr. D for your concern and help in my recovery. I only wished that Baylor’s Sunnyvale doctors had the same dedication and concern that you showed to me!

Fantastic experience: Choose BIR Dallas! You won't regret it. - My mom had a hemorrhagic stroke on 01/2017 and we were told she would be in a vegetative state if she survives at all. She has been at BIR Dallas since 02/2017. When admitted, she was not talking and barely able to move her functional side. She has improved dramatically! She has aphasia and the speech therapist, Sharon, has her saying about 30 words and increasing daily. The physical therapy and occupational therapy department is AMAZING! Mom is able to stand/walk assisted. They push the patients hard, no doubt but its so worth it. The doctors and nursing staff are wonderful. Any concerns the family has had has been addressed promptly and never brushed aside. Everyone is friendly. Never once, have we thought our mom wasn't getting the care she needs (and we are VERY picky! ) Dallas has been a challenge because we do not live close but it has been the BEST decision we ever made for our mom!
