Fantastic experience: My grandmother was at a resident at Ebony Lake nursing home for several months. The care that she received was above expectations. We appreciate all the love, compassion and great professional care they gave , all of the staff. They were amazing, the best care facility I have ever seen. Thank you Ebony Lake for making a difference in my grandmas life ,And our lives.

Negative experience: Never bring your family here they neglect and malnourished them they dnt care about them Just the check the get to have them there they living our family members days without chasing pamper

Fantastic experience: I would like to take this time to say thank you to Maria Guzman and Mary Martinez for taking the time to help feed my mother-in-law, Eva Rosenbaum. Eva feels very comfortable with these two certified nurses assistants. Our family deeply appreciates from the bottom of our hearts how well they take care of her. We feel so blessed that Eva is here at Ebony Lake in the secure unit. We feel that it is a safe and family oriented environment. Fantastic experience: Thank you Ophelia and Sulema for hosting our Bingo today at Catalon Paseo De La Resaca and Huntington Paseo De La Resaca today. Our residents loved the prizes and the sweet bread with coffee ☕️ this afternoon.

Fantastic experience: I went from being an employee to a patient at Ebony Lake. When being a patient I received the best care ever. The nurses were awesome. Nurses like Maria Elena, wound care Mariah, nurse Diana Diaz, & nurse Sara took care of me as I was a queen. Cna's Cecilia,Arturo & Diana wound check on me constanley to see if i needed anything. Housekeeping Martha quiroz, Esmeralda & Maria Jurado.kept my room nice and clean. Kitchen delivered awesome meals. Overall my experience was awesome. I would have liked to spend more time here as a patient but my insurance did not allow it. Now I'm back as an employee and doing everything possible for my residents. I would also like to Thank Mrs. Nan for allowing me to return to work with some accommodations. I nominate Alicia Escobedo for OWNERSHIP. AND FOR being the best CNA leader. She works endless hours. Always read to jump in for any staff neefing help. Even on her worst days of pain ( breasts cancer, chingals) she helps out. Its because she loves her job so much she has worked with Ebony for more than 25 yrs. She knows all the staff and residents by name. There's more things to say all good thing but ill just have to write a book about her.

Fantastic experience: When I was being send to a nursing home for two weeks I was confuse cause I thought it was only for old people but I kind of knew it was for my own good Everyone that work at the facility was really nice and had really good experience.Especially my wound care nurse always making shure my wound would heal properly ,the night shift nurses always checking up on me that I’m ok and let’s not forget my phycaltherapy group that would make shure I would stay active most of the time. Thank you Ebony Lake for the support and the help to get back in my feet. I Highly recommend the whole group of Ebony Lake!!!

Fantastic experience: When I was told I was going to a nursing home for a couple of days I didn’t like the idea but I decided to go. The experience I had at Ebony Lake was really good I am happy I decided to go, even for a couple of days. Everyone that work at the facility was really nice and had really good experience. I really want to thank nurse Diana D. best nurse i’ve ever had. She kept me on my toes on watching my diet, my sugar levels and even pushed me on choosing on healthier choices, thank you. P.S. she deserves a raise! :)

Fantastic experience: As my mom Minerva M. Admitted to Ebony on 12/17 everyone has been excellent from reception admissions social worker therapist administrator to many to name but everyone at Ebony lake has been awesome. I highly recommend Ebony for long or short term services.

Fantastic experience: Today should have been a very emotional day as we helped our aunt move into Ebony Lake., but it turned out to be a very thankful day. The office administration staff went above and beyond to help expedite all the paperwork and answered all of our questions regarding the transition process. The facility is very beautiful and looked well kept and inviting to visit. My aunt loved that the kitten was outside made her feel at home !! We rest assured that she is very well taken care of and in best hands. Thanks again Ebony Lake. And staff.

Negative experience: First day of the transfer from the hospital to this facility, before visitation hours ended came to visit my father and found him on the floor calling for help , I myself called by pressing the button and no one came till after it seemed like an eternity. I’m transferring out ASAP tomorrow. I cannot believe facilities policy of no rails on their beds , something needs to change because the rails would have helped. The service provider s terrible because it seems they are understaffed.

Fantastic experience: Over 2 years and blessed! I continue to be blessed by the caring dedication of the staff and leadership at Ebony Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Their dedication to the care of our residents is unsurpassed. So many of our residents' loved ones are able to visit regularly and they have become part of our community's family. The smiles on our residents faces, hearing their laughter, singing and fellowship makes it an honor to be serving here. I pray for many more years to come. It's hard to point out just one highly dedicated staff member but I want to especially recognize Martha Garza, Activity Assistant, for spreading love and sunshine to all our residents! I'm new to the facility and I'm so impressed by the dedicated, caring staff. The facility is impeccable, the food delicious and most importantly, the residents are happy and well cared for. The staff and leadership team are so compassionate. What a blessing! It’s been a year and I’ve seen so much excellence in the care and compassion of our team! Most especially I want to recognize Alicia Escobedo, CNA for her dedication to our residents and staff! She truly takes ownership of her role as staffing CNA!

Fantastic experience: Ebony Lake is a great nursing and rehabilitation center. I nominate Esmeralda Trejo. She was excellent and very respectful to my mom. My mom was having a hard time when she got there, but with Esmeralda’s expertise she was able to feel much better. Esmeralda was very compassionate and nurturing. She had initiative and motivated my mom so much.

Fantastic experience: My aunt has terminal cancer and her nurse Cristina Garza has been such a blessing to the family. The palliative care my aunt has been receiving has made this most difficult transition bearable. Cristina explains every step and process in a way we understand. We are so grateful for all her help!

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience visiting a family member. The staff is so friendly and patient with our loved ones..specially the CNA Jael who has been soo lovely to our relative. Fantastic experience: I dont work in this facility but I've worked in another nursing home and now how hard it is to care for 40 plus patients. I do have a friend in this facility named Christina garza, and I have worked with her before and she's a really hard worker. I know she can brighten anybody day including coworkers and patients with her sense of humor. She has a heart full of love waiting to share with the world.

Always greeting us with a -good morning- and saying goodbye with a -see you later- so that they also feel part of us. Residents are important to us, they are part of our family.

I went to Ebony Lake to gather information about admitting a elderly family member and was assisted by a Nurse Aide: Esmeralda Trejo. My grandma had 24/7 care, felt comfortable with everyone and didn’t have discomfort. My grandma passed on November 30th but I know that many staff members cared for her during her time at Ebony Lake.
