Negative experience: The front desk personnel is rude, confrontational and extremely unprofessional. As a new patient while waiting for my appointment. I witnessed The office manager DK get into a verbal confrontation with a patient. He also sat there and gossiped with other coworkers and made rude comments about a coworker who had not come in yet and not there to help him. As a new patient I was concerned hearing the unprofessional behavior from this man. When my visit was over. I did not have the copay. I offered $10 and promised to make up the difference in my next visit. The woman that attended me was rude and repeatedly asked why I didn't have the money. Then the office manager began insulting me repeating himself as to why I didn't have the money as well. He raised his voice at me and was being a bully and I unfortunately followed. I was in extreme pain, embarrassed and frustrated with their behavior. The woman finally told him to stop. The PA and his assistant were very kind and thorough. The Dr was not in that day. The PA put in an order for a quad cane for me. When I asked the lady in the front she told me rudely "we don't do that". I told her she needed to talk to the PA because he ordered one. She then said, " I don't know check with your pharmacy". Because of the front office staffs behavior I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They were out of control. Unfortunately many people do not speak up for themselves and this is what happens. My apologies to the patients in the waiting area who had to witness this. I still can't get over their confrontational behavior and extreme rudeness. Since this "DK" is the office manager and related to the Dr, I'm sure nothing will be done. It's a shame because the PA and his assistant showed genuine concern for my pain and I was looking forward to finally being treated. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THIS AWFUL PLACE because of these two people. Trust me you don't want to go there either. So sad. Ex patient Ms Linda Huble

Fantastic experience: I’M VERY SATISFIED WITH DR SURYA RAGUTHU’S PAIN MANAGEMENT. I’M STILL WOKING THANKS TO THE INJECTIONS HE GAVE ON MY BACK. I FEEL THAT I OWE HIM MY LIFE.

Positive experience: Friendly staff, straight forward approach, clean facilities.wait times are the only issue I don't like. Usually wait time are around 1.5 hours with appointment

Negative experience: After complaining about pain and discomfort in my right hand during my last VA physical appointment, I was contacted and assigned Ace Management Rehab located in Brownville, TX by the VA. In the opinion of this Veteran, this facility does not stand up to normal healthcare standard that I have observed during visits to other healthcare facilities. Examples: (1) During a pandemic the facility’s staffs, including the doctor who examined me, did not wear a mask. This made my examination and stay very uncomfortable. (2) The work areas appeared to be unorganized and cluttered, to include having food stuff, drinks and containers on desks. (3) The equipment, computer and furniture in the examination room, appeared to be outdated and was visibly dirty, dusty and stained. (4) Bedside manners was non-existence. The attendant nor the doctor (who came in late) introduced themselves. No staff member that I could see wore name tags. This is important to clients because we want to know who is treating us and their qualifications, such as Doctor, Nurse, Technician and name. (4) During the exam, the doctor poked me several times with a sharp object to check my reactions, at no time did he clean the areas with alcohol prior to this procedure. He cause my right hand to bleed, and did nothing to clean the blood. (5) My appointment was an examination and consultation. The doctor appeared to push an operation on my hand and wanted to immediately schedule rehab at his clinic. He appeared upset when I did not respond to his suggestions and when I stated that I wanted a copy of the report of the visit. Veterans and civilians deserve to be treated in a more healthy environment by healthcare providers who are professional and caring. Make no mistake this is a negative review and I have no trust or confidence in this facility to service Veterans.

Negative experience: Less then a star. Wait time is horrible unprofessional staff , dirty facilities and the PT area is horrible one small room for everyone to share no privacy what do ever. Most of the staff was on the cell phone and the other half looked like they just got out of jail. I will not be returning here for sure. I will drive 2.5 to San Antonio where I would be treated like a patient after all I am paying you for a service.

Negative experience: He does not tell the patient about what his plans are for treatment .I have never had a Dr that was this rude & insulting. Wait time is way too long , 2 - 4 hours every time !! There are more organized and efficient clinics any where but this ACE clinic is unprofessional & the male receptionist was rude to me every visit .he refused to schedule a CT scan at Valley Regional Medical Center. He told me he didn't have time for Valley Regional & told me to do it myself .it took me only 5 minutes to schedule at VRMC. Very dissatisfied with this Dr .I will not return .

Fantastic experience: Hi My Name is Regina My nickname is Dixie Ruth I am a 61 year old female who has been having severe pain in my knees for several years ! So severe in fact I could not stand without assistant ! I had to get a electric cart to shop until ..... I went to orthopedic doctor after Doctor Who would poke a needle in my knee and to find mi utes later still hurt to walk. I tried I ntensity machines that work a few hours .I was informed by an orthopedic surgeon that The only way Id be free of pain was to have a knee replacement ! My Sister gave me a referral to Dr Surya Raguthu! Ace pain management. I ttucked that paper away later that evening I made an appointment !!! My first visit I was Treated using the latest in technology and to my surprise a few hours later I was walking without assistance !!! It's been almost three weeks and I'm jogging ! II am now pain free in my left leg ! I have lost 8 pounds and feeling great ! So drop that cane and go see the doctors at Ace Pain. ! I want to thank the staff and Dr Raguthu who treat me like family !!!! Most of all thank you for accepting me as a new patient and providing me with the treatment I needed to walk again !
