Fantastic experience: Got me back to rock climbing after a major rotator cuff injury. I feel like my shoulders are now stronger than they were when I originally got injured. Just make sure you do the exercises they recommend diligently!

Fantastic experience: I went in to get some help with workouts for my knees. Dr. Flores listened carefully and thoughtfully to my concerns and what I’d like to achieve. After going through a few workouts, I began to feel a difference in what I was doing wrong. Dr. Flores followed up with me and offered me additional workouts. My knee, my breathing and my stability has improved with the help of Dr. Flores. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: If you are currently needing a Physical Therapist and are looking at a long list of PT’s the doctor gave you, I would narrow that list to Ms. Adrienne and the staff of Select Physical Therapy. They are a hidden gem in the Heights, located near Zoes Kitchen on Washington Avenue. Ms. Adrienne has been fantastic, giving me exercises that are helping solve issues with my neck, lower back and knee. Shout out to the front desk staff of Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Elizabeth for being awesome!

Fantastic experience: I screwed up my shoulder from a fall on some stairs. Since my first day of therapy, Zach increasingly challenged me to develop my back strength to support my shoulder. The exercises that I did were challenging but not painful. I can now move my arm with no pain and completed my therapy a week early. Thanks Zach!!

Fantastic experience: Olivia Tharp is a major part of my support team as I recover from surgery. She is prepped and ready to start therapy, knows my history and has a plan to help me reach my goal.Olivia uses a variety of tools/techniques to keep me motivated and engaged.Lastly, her depth of knowledge is impressive; she offers easy to understand explanations of the program. Fantastic experience: Select Physical Therapy was a good experience. Partially rupture on my achillees in March. Started Select in October now its January 16th, and I played in my first soccer scrimmage! The exercises were solid and I do them at home now. I would recommend Kaitlyn as a PT. I am not 100% yet, because I still have another 6 weeks, but I can at least jog without it hurting the next morning. Significant progress from my first start. I can't wait to have sustainable mobility for a long time!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Flores is incredible, and I can't recommend this experience enough! I came in with hip pain, and while I still have a ways to go, my pain was significantly improved after just one session! Each session, she assesses my progress, and tweaks the assigned exercises. My hip pain is entirely gone at this point!

Fantastic experience: Facility is very clean and friendly. Parking is easy and free. This is not an ironman exercise type facility. They are not intimidating. Therapist Adrienne Flores observed and quickly targeted the problem areas.

Fantastic experience: I have had and still having a wonderful and rewarding experience working with my physical therapy Elizabeth Kahan. Her kind and soothing manerism and attentiveness to go above and beyond to make one feel comfortable is very commendable. She takes your feels in consideration at all times. When the tears start falling you feel like you are fighting a losing battle she steps in and reassures you by letting you know everything will be okay because I am here for you and I'll help you all the way through your battle. She not only tell you, she shows you by offering a helping hand when you feel like you are to weak go any further or a shoulder to lean on when you stumble so you don't fall. The entire physical therapy staff is wonderful. They let you know as well that their there for you if needed as well. I applaud Elizabeth Kahan (my p/t), the entire physical therapy instructors team and the amazing office staff as well. I need all of you to know that I appreciate and thank all of you for your help and support while I going through my wellness journey.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Adrienne Flores, PT at Select Physical Therapy. I had been referred for an ACL sprain, tendinosis in my left knee and pain in my ankle. Working with Adrienne over a period of 6 weeks, she proved she is a master of her craft. As part of her initial assessment she identified several muscle imbalances and flexibility issues across both my legs that were fueling my injuries and leading to increased pain. By focusing on building mobility and strength in these areas using a sustainable set of exercise plans, I noticed a 70% improvement within 3 weeks already. By the end of our program I had achieved 90% of my goals and Adrienne provided me a list of home exercises for me to close the remaining gap (I was moving so could not keep attending appointments). I am pleased to report I am now pain free and have returned to exercising in the gym and truly believe her recommendations will help me stay mobile and healthy for years to come.

The exercises and stretches he's teaching me are really helping, and are things I can continue to do on my own at home to keep the benefits of my appointments going. He's very good at listening to my concerns and issues and teaching solutions that work for me.

Fantastic experience: Easy parking, friendly staff, and a fairly spacious PT area. Everyone was masked and pleasant to work with. PT was straight forward, and I felt heard and listened to. My therapist didn't talk down to me or scold me for any bad habits etc. She talked to me like a human, helped me get to the root of the problem, and came up with a great plan on how to address it. Scheduled a few follow ups to track progress and make sure we're headed in the right direction. No one likes having to do PT but they take the stress and worry out of it.

Fantastic experience: I've been pleased with the staff at the Washington-Heights location, and particularly my Physical Therapist (Adrienne Flores, PT DPT). Adrienne Flores is always upbeat, personal, knowledgeable, encouraging, and present. I would suggest Adrienne Flores, PT, DPT, anytime asked and even without being asked. Bravo for Adrienne Flores! Fantastic experience: Select Physical Therapy was great with working with me to verify my insurance when I had issues with other physical therapy offices. The office was convenient and kept very clean. The receptionist was very friendly and I have always been seen on time. My physical therapist Jayson has been wonderful giving me stretches and exercises to improve my ankle mobility (from a broken ankle).

Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of being assigned to Dr. Jayson Varghese. He is the ultimate professional. He always listens carefully and then recommends appropriate course of action. He has excellent bedside manners. I couldn´t have asked for a better DPT. By far one of the best professionals I have found in this field.

Fantastic experience: Since I've started therapy at this location my mobility in my knee has improved. The staff are friendly and professional. My therapist is amazing. He's patient and always makes sure the exercises are not to strenuous on my knee. I feel very confident that when my sessions end I will be at 90%. I love this place.

Fantastic experience: Adrienne is awesome! She is passionate about her work and truly cares for her patients. I work down the hall from the Select Therapy location. I had an issue with my insurance that wouldn't allow me to continue treatment. Whenever Adrienne would see me, she would ask me when I was coming back, and urge me to get back as soon as I could. I am happy to say that I was able to start back last week.

Fantastic experience: Great place for therapy. Frendly & professional staff. Therapist works close with you. Free parking I worked closely with Jayson 2 years ago for knee therapy and he was great. I immediately went to him again now that I’ve had the other knee done. Very professional, worked out a excellent program for me and I highly recommend him. The staff all helpful and conscientious about Covid protocols.

Fantastic experience: I brought my dad here because it was in network with insurance and I do not regret it. They work with patients, evaluate them then make plan for their recovery. My father had a stoke ten years prior (w/left side weakness) and is now receiving therapy for his right knee replacement. Jayson is his therapist and he does a phenomenal job I highly recommend him. There was improvement by the second appointment. His Leg needs to get straightened with in a month. If you put your part and follow directions Jason gives you it works. He printed exercises and gave us printed directions to get similar exercise straps and ice pack to use at home. I’ve been to a reputable in-and outpatient facility and this place puts them to shame. I won’t mention the NAME! I thank God I came to the right place Select Physical Therapy.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going for physical therapy at Select for several weeks for a broken hip. Jayson has done a great job of designing a challenging, but doable set of exercises for me. In addition to the sessions in which he provides close guidance on performing the exercises properly, he also provided a link to an online website that provides video guidance for each “assigned” exercise and allows me to track my progress. This allows me to work on my own each week in between in-person sessions really improving progress. One important factor is that Jayson also assesses my capabilities each week and updates the exercises for my increasing capabilities. For instance, this week my doctor moved me from walker to cane and Jayson worked with me on proper use of the cane and on how to climb stairs now that I am strong enough to do them. This assessment/update/assessment process is what makes this facility so helpful.

Fantastic experience: The staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the entire rehabilitation process. They listen to your goals, celebrate your successes, and care about your improvements. Sara is an absolute rockstar of a therapist. Going there was a very positive experience!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Select by my spine specialist at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. I've never had to undergo physical therapy before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Well, it couldn't have gone better! After signing in, I Wass met at the door by the smiling, energetic face of Victoria Davis, or, Tory to her patients and friends. Tory quickly introduced me to Amanda, a therapist in training, and together we got to the bottom of why I was there. Both ladies were very professional, took their time and, I felt, were genuinely concerned about me and my back problem. Within 15 minutes, they were hard at work showing and explaining to me the exercise regiment that would work best for me in getting better. They also provided me a printed out copy of the exercises as there was no way I would remember all of the little nuances of the program. The first visit was a breeze compared to my second visit where Tory put me through every exercise known to man!!! Ok, I'm just kidding but I got my money's worth in PT!!! Tomorrow, I go back for my third visit and I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to it despite what Tory and Amanda may have in store for me. By the way, I am actually feeling better and hope to be rid of this sciatic nerve problem soon. My only regret is not coming to Select sooner. Thank you, Select, for giving me the opportunity to single out two of your staff who have gone above and beyond to make this 63 year old guy feel better and healthier. Yay, Tory and Amanda!

Fantastic experience: Select and my lead therapist, Jason Varghese, has make a dramatic impact in helping me rehab a severely torn rotator cuff. Since my injury was traumatic enough that I am not a candidate for repair, I began therapy pretty depressed thinking I was heading to a reverse shoulder replacement. My progress has resulted in optimism that I can get back to acceptable function without replacement surgery.

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Select for three months now with Adrienne and couldnt be happier with the progress we've made. She is very knowledgable and professional and there is no way my shoulder would be where it is today without her help! The rest of the staff are very professional as well, the office is clean, and I will gladly go back in the future. Highly recommend
