Fantastic experience: I just wanted to share my experience at Valir Rehabilitation Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. The majority of the staff was AMAZING!!! The PT and OT, Kevin and Becky were thee very BEST!!! I learned so much from Kevin. Most of the nurses and techs always went above and beyond for me. Especially Darla, Markayla, Jeff, Alisha, Amanda, Jaimee, Rachel. The housekeeper Annette F did such an amazing job cleaning our room thoroughly. And there was an older gentleman that worked in the mornings that worked in dietary that brought our breakfast trays every morning. He was very kind. They all treated us like family there. Which I appreciated very much. I would recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Ryan and Tyler and Lisa are all friendly and professional. Ryan has helped me with my shoulder and now with my elbow.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Valir in Frederick, Ok provides outstanding care, and are very professional giving the care needed to get you up and going again. I am very pleased with my progress after having L hip replacement surgery.

Fantastic experience: The nursing staff is incredible !!!! I think they are over worked & as an outsider mgmt needs to have safe ratios , but the nurses themself are incredible, educated, on-time with med passes , honest, safe, caring, compassionate & very thorough in their care. Especially the night shift. mgmt needs to get it together though & hire more nurses so they are working 1:8 or 1:12 , that is unsafe.

Fantastic experience: I want to share my uncle's experience with the food at VALIR, it's amazing I mean look at this plate looks amazing and it tastes great. Chef Ben has been nothing less than amazing, almost every meal is great and he talks to my dad like their buddies. The dietary staff is amazing as well, everyone is so nice, I will say if it wasn't for the food and the Ben and dietary staff, we probably wouldn't be here. Anyhow great Thanksgiving meal was better than some I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: Love the app. Videos showing proper techniques to do exercises vs the old pencil drawings that your doc has copied 100 x’s is a major improvement! The tracking and accountability from for PT is great as well.

Fantastic experience: I spent a little more than 4 weeks at Valir this fall following an above-the-knee amputation. Shane and Paul, physical therapist and occupational therapist, were absolutely outstanding. I worked harder than I ever thought I could, and they were there cheering me on. The nursing staff was excellent, and the only thing keeping me from naming names is my fear of forgetting some of them. My very first nurse Angela made a deep impression on me with her care and compassion, and that carried through with the rest of the nurses and the CNAs. They all helped me come to grips with my new situation as an amputee. I am so very grateful to all of them, from the therapists to the doctors and nurses to the CNAs to the housekeepers to the kitchen staff, thank you so very, very much!

Fantastic experience: This Rehabilitation Hospital has been a godsend to our family while treating my brother-in-law who is suffering with a brain tumor. The facility is clean and well maintained. His room was good sized, with a well appointed, updated and home-like decor. There was adequate seating for visitors, a quiet atmosphere and calmness. The staff is caring, competent and considerate. We were there for 3 weeks attempting to make progress in keeping our patient comfortable and contributing to his quality of life. The staff became sincere and compassionate partners in our efforts. During our 21 day stay, we experienced excellent care from 7 different nurses and 8 nurse assistants, never having a bad experience or concern. The therapy staff struck a good balance of encouragement and participation to elicit the best effort from our loved one. They also encouraged our support of our patient and offered suggestions on our journey. We are blessed and satisfied that the Valir Rehabilitation Hospital experience has been superb and worthwhile.

Fantastic experience: My husband was a patient at Valir for 11 days. The care was excellent! All the staff (doctor, nurses, therapists, food staff and techs were wonderful). Valir has a warm and friendly atmosphere and treats everyone with respect. We recommend it wholeheartedly!

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal!! My husband spent 2 weeks at Valir after being in 2 previous hospitals for 10 weeks. Shane and the other physical therapists turned him completely around. A true rehab in a hotel setting. He was up and walking the first hour. Clean and very organized.

Fantastic experience: I chose to do my therapy here for a several reasons. First, they did excellent with my husband’s therapy after his bilateral knee replacements a couple years ago. I was really impressed. Second, I really like the smaller hometown feeling, and the more one on one personal attention. Also, you know who you’re going to be working with and it’s not changing to someone different every week. Overall, it’s been a great experience, and they are all extremely caring and friendly and that is what makes for a great experience!! I would highly recommend giving Ryan and his team in Frederick, OK a try!

Fantastic experience: My father was admitted into hospital with a serious Urinary track infection and had a serious wound infection on his bottom from a previous nursing home stay and went from hospital stay to a wound care hospital to Valir Hospital. My dad was at Valir for about 3 weeks and the love and care he received was out of this world. My dad said they was so professional and nurses were so kind and wound care Nurse was knowledgeable and detailed and gentle. I know my dad love the food and all staff. I have had to help care for my dad with my sister and I realize when love ones have to go away from home it's very important they get as close to the same feeling like they are at home with food and a friendly Environment to help the healing process. I also would like to say my dad recently lost his wife of 55 years who is my mom and this has been a hard time on him and family and the staff was always thoughtful talking to him about his wife as he would looked at her picture in his room and the care they showed him made my father feel so much better. I would recommend any Valir rehab or hospital to anyone in the world.

Fantastic experience: Well there is an old saying that strictly is clear. If its not broke, don't fix it. There is not much I would change other than this Pandemic that is causing a lot as a patient things that really get in the way as you recover from what brough you here to this wonderful staff but thats ok. I feel at home her becuse what I eat is really good and I want to try everything I'm served even if my stomache doesn't agree. I'd love just goingn outside and walk around the property but something tells me that they know best and something tells me that there is no question I know a lot intellectually and I should do what I'm told by people that just know more about health than I do. Asside from the actual staff staff...The kitchen crew is unbelievable. Every meal is put together in a way that tells you someone actually cared enough to put it together just for you with your name in there mind and it shows in every way. I say this because I believe that when someone very special (could be anyone) in that kitchen looks at my order and puts it together and something is missing on my order, they will make a choice for me based on them knowing what I would want and that is the solution. Fantastic experience: I spent several weeks at Valir Rehab Hospital after extensive foot surgery. From the first day the staff was caring and attentive. I never had to wait long for anything and they were always swift and friendly in their response and I felt they genuinely cared about my health. I ended up transferring to another facility to continue my therapy and was so disappointed in the new facility's care. What a difference. I would highly recommend Valir to anyone and if I need therapy in the future I will choose Valir first!

Fantastic experience: My father suffered a stroke on August 8, 2019. He was transferred from OU Medical to Valir for his rehabilitation. He is scheduled for discharge tomorrow. Her has made tremendous progress during his 3 week stay. Every single staff member, from housekeeping and kitchen staff to nursing and therapy was compassionate, caring and respectful. This has been a difficult time for my family. The level of not just care, but caring our entire family received will forever be remembered and appreciated.

Fantastic experience: I was in Valir hospital for about 13 days this month for a recent injury and I was already disabled and this place is fabulous. They helped me so much!! The minute I got there the nurses checked and assesssed me head to toe for any medical needs to be addressed and noted. They got me settled in comforatably and quickly and got me a meal since I had missed breakfast at home that day. The staff kept me up to date on my progress and they were very attentive. Nutritionist was right on top of the food and menu making sure it met my medical needs and was enjoyable for me to eat. Food was fresh, well made, and deliscious as well as nutritious. Therapists were very good and encouraging and helped me to improve quickly. They are very well trained and were amazing to work with on my needs and shortcomings. My room was comfortable and spacious with individual air control so as to not be too hot or too cold. Bathroom was well thought out and accommodating. The facility is in beautiful condition and stafff is well trained and very warm and pleasant to be with when injured and ill. If you are in need of this type of medical care this place is excellent and you can rest assured your loved one or you will be well cared for. I would not hesitate to return if I need their services again. I would most definitely recommend them to others as well. If I could give this place a higher rating I would.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best facility! Every single person you walk by or meet, nurse, tech, dietary, Pt, OT, recoptionist etc... is absolutely the nicest most respectful people! High recommend to anyone! All smiles! Every person working in this facility we have came in contact with over the past month has been amazing! They take such good care of their patients and the patients family/friends! Haven't had even one slightest bit of negative or doubt in choosing the right place!!
