As a non-binary patient with a preferred name, it can be tough seeing medical professionals as they often misgender or dead name you, but the wonderful folks at this clinic have always respected and validated me. Highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: The team at Northwest Injury Care relieved the majority of my symptoms in only the first month of working together. The comprehensive care between PT, chiropractic, and massage, all in one location, has been so helpful and convenient. And everyone on staff is so kind and welcoming. I really appreciate all the work they've done to help me and I recommend them to anyone looking for PT, chiropractic, or massage.

Fantastic experience: When I first started PT, I was a mess. A nasty biking accident left me with a broken left elbow, broken right wrist, and ac joint separation. The broken arms required multiple surgical procedures, which left me in a pretty sorry state. I couldn't lift anything, opening doors was a pain, loss of manual dexterity and fine motor skills made even simple tasks burdensome. Working with Shawn has been amazing. He answers my questions and is very easy to talk to about all the things related to my injury and recovery. He educated me, explaining things like scar tissue in a way that not only allowed me to understand what we were working on and why, but in a way that empowered me to go home and do the work on my own as well. As part of my recovery we've gone through a series of different activities that all focused on different things such as flexibility, agility, strength training, etc. The manual therapy especially really feels like it's fast tracked my recovery. I've been going for a couple months now and every week has been noticeably better. I'm to the point where the elbow is 95% back and wrist (which two very intense procedures later) is at 65% or so, and again feels noticeably better each week. I can't stress enough how pleased I've been with my recovery and Shawn's part in getting me there. The office itself is lovely, full of warm energy and people who obviously care about their craft and put the patients first. I worked with Dr. Christy early on in my recovery which definitely helped me overcome some of the neck and shoulder related parts of my injury, especially. Savannah at the front desk is always such a delight to talk with, and made insurance, paperwork, scheduling, and payment a breeze.

Fantastic experience: I’m so grateful to have had Shawn as my physical therapist! I had a complicated high-energy trauma that affected several areas of my body. I had seen 6 other PT’s before finding Shawn. Through his whole body approach, use of manual therapy, and education style we were able to improve my over all function and mobility. Shawn did a great job of listening. The information and exercises he taught, empowered me to improve my health and well being. I highly recommend PDX Bodyworks physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy with the work that Shawn and Greg do! After a car accident that left me with neck and back pain, I began physical therapy with them. Most of my sessions were with Greg and his methodical approach was great for me as he explained what we were doing, what muscles were being affected, and why we were doing it. This was my first experience doing physical therapy and if it is ever needed again, I will definitely return to PDX Bodyworks Physical Therapy.
