I tore my ACL back in 2022 & going to Alandra has been the BEST decision I’ve ever made. You will not regret going here or be disappointed, they don’t around here!!

Fantastic experience: Alandra and her team are amazing. I've followed them from there last two locations to the current one and will continue to do so. They really know their stuff and as long as you put in the effort they can get you back to being independent. I honestly can't recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: Alexandra and her team were the best they really treated me like family I remember the first day there I couldn't do anything as I tore my meniscus but after a few months I really got my left leg back to normal due to them doing their best and hard work exercising my leg I really enjoyed going there thanks for everything

Fantastic experience: I initially came in as a last resort for a L4-L5 herniated disc, after visiting a series of doctors who were unable to help me. I was bedridden and unable to perform any daily activities for two months at that point. Standing, sitting, and laying down were all excruciatingly painful. Within the first appointment, I found significant relief. In time, I have been able to stand,sit, and walk without any pain - a feat I thought wouldn't be possible again. Alandra and her team have met me where I'm at and make the most of each appointment while also providing exercises to perform at home. I that my health is always top priority here. The range of exercises and equipment is fantastic - and Alandra knows precisely how to target specific areas for near instant relief. I can say I feel better now than even before my injury. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing PT.

Fantastic experience: Alandra, Chris and their associates Joey, and Lexi, and Sebastian provided me with the utmost professional care during my recent bout with sciatica. At 76 years of age, I felt my remaining days were to be spent in a recliner ! Now I am back to doing Zumba , long walks , and activities of daily living are no longer cumbersome. The specialized , carefully monitored treatments were tailored , and carried out in a fun, spirited environment… thank you OPT!!!

Fantastic experience: Chris, Alandra and all the staff are so patient, kind, and friendly. I had fell and injured my ankle. After, going for 1 month, I am feeling alot better and stronger than I imagined I would be. I can also wear my heels again, that makes me very happy. This is by far the best facility I've been for physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Alandra, is absolutely amazing, she’s been doing it for awhile and knows how to get you functioning as normal as possible. Joey is also great!! The place is clean , they work with your schedule and push you just enough, 2nd. Knee replacement and I can’t imagine going anywhere else for physical therapy. This is a great group of people.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about the treatment program setup for me by Chris and Alandra. The supportive environment provided by their team has made getting physical therapy a fun and successful effort. They go out of their way to explain what regimen a person's condition needs and how you can accomplish it. Chris and Alandra want to know what you want to accomplish, what is your goal? That is what they are going to focus on. This makes me look forward to my sessions.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alandra Lancaster treated and helped me overcome my IT band injury from running. She is very knowledgeable, personable, and showed plenty of patience with my many questions. I have returned to running and I am excited to run my first half marathon at the end of April. Highly recommend this office (and more specifically, Dr. Alandra Lancaster) for anyone seeking PT services in the San Antonio area!

Fantastic experience: Admittedly the wife forced me to go to OPT after serveral months of complaining about an elbow injury. Her experience with Alandra at OPT was exceptional and reluctantly I agreed to make an appointment. After one session with Alandra, my pain went from an intermittent 8 to a 1. Alandra didn't address the elbow initially but focused on all the other factors that were attributing to the elbow pain. Then she addressed the elbow with some stretches and exercises tailored to my specific injury. Alandra seemed invested in my recovery and not just in the process. Thank you Alandra! I am back on the courts and enjoying my recreation time with my family and friends again after a 8 month hiatus. Unnesessarily unfortunately. Ask for Alandra!

Fantastic experience: Alandra (The Amazing) Lancaster is the best at what she does. The entire OPT team, Brook, Joey, and the rest were all wonderful. Alandra is the Clinic Director, and for good reason, SHE KNOWS HER STUFF!!! I wasn’t a big fan of PT in the past, and actually stopped going after a couple visits to a different clinic, because I felt what they were having me do, could be done at home. I had the same thought about OPT initially after my shoulder surgery, but then Alandra stepped in, and took it to another level. These guys are SERIOUS about helping you get better ASAP. They pushed me, and made it fun. They are a very professional, yet personable and friendly team. I highly recommend OPT. They will fix you! Thank you, Alandra (The Amazing) and team!

Fantastic experience: The folks at Orthopedic Physical Therapy are top-notch. I have had knee pain for many years and went through multiple physical therapists in order to alleviate it, but with not much luck or long-lasting effect. Well . . . I was able to walk out of my first session at OPT with no pain in my knees, feeling untapped power in my legs, and equipped with a recovery plan on how to continue getting better from home. They employed science-based techniques that I don't believe other physical therapists are up to date on, and went further into depth towards the more conventional exercises & stretches that I have been doing to control my knee pain than my previous PT's had been willing to go. It's all about the attention to detail, and at OPT they take the time to explore that. I have been to several physical therapists (and have also worked with several due to my prior occupation) and all I can say is I would give 6 stars if I could. **** EDIT (1/22/23) -- I had gone back to OPT a couple of months ago in order to address neck pain from whiplash that I've had for the past 3 years. Every morning I woke up with a stiff, painful neck that I addressed with a heating pad which was a half-measure at best. After just a few visits to OPT, Alandra and her team were able to strengthen, stretch, and activate the necessary musculature so that I no longer have neck pain! I can also hit all my gym workouts without worrying about my neck now.

Fantastic experience: The therapists are awesome. They're extremely knowledgeable about a plethora of conditions so every individuals recovery plan is personalized for their greatest recovery potential. They push you to reach goals to help you progress in your recovery, but don't make you overreach. And most importantly they play the best music and know how to have a good time.. It's fun for everyone.

Fantastic experience: There is a reason that this clinic has a 5 star rating and it is because of their therapist Alandra and her professional staff. I hobbled in to this very clean and sanitized facility for therapy to both of my injured legs. After Alandra's assessment of my injuries, she and her staff started treatment right away. I left there walking and feeling instantly better! Thanks to Alandra's extensive knowledge and thanks to the staff's attention to details, they are the reason for my speedy recovery! Fantastic experience: Alandra and the entire team are amazing! From the beginning, I got personalized care, a specific recovery plan and one on one care. Every time I went in, I was met with enthusiasm, a fun environment and physical therapy that helped me recover to my highest potential. It seems like the staff does a great job working with patients from very different backgrounds, from athletes to older patients, large injuries to minor injuries. A holistic approach to therapy helped me recover from surgery as well as improve my overall health and fitness, helping me reach my physical goals. If I ever need physical therapy again, I would absolutely come back here.

Fantastic experience: Torn ACL, MCL and Meniscus on my left knee. I will send anybody I know to Alandra and her team for P.T. I felt very limited with moving my knee and they knew I had more. I believed in their exercises and they got me out sooner then expected. Training done in four months. Huge thanks to Dr. Murray for the knee surgery.

Fantastic experience: I can’t express how much the team at OPT San Antonio helped me get back to being me! I came in walking like an 80 year old and in pain anytime I sat up or walked more than a few steps. I left feeling normal and walking and standing with ease and feeling strong again. Not only was it healing but I looked forward to coming because Alandra, Alexis and team were always so fun and upbeat! Fantastic experience: My name is Juan Sanchez. I was suffering severe lower back pain. The physical therapist, Alandra, helped me get my life back to normal. She is very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. She made sure I did the exercises correctly. Alandra even adjusted my therapy plan in the middle of my treatment to help me alleviate my pain more. After only six sessions, I was practically pain-free. I highly recommend OPT San Antonio, and Alandra, in particular. Her assistant, Lexie, was great too. She was patient with my repetitive questions and reminded me of how the exercises were helping reduce and eventually eliminate my pain. Also, they worked with me to change my appointments as needed.

Fantastic experience: Alandra, Natasha and Lexi are wonderful therapists! They demonstrated tremendous care for me as I recovered from a shoulder issue, modifying exercises until I could do them. Fantastic experience: I’m a Division 1 NCAA athlete, and play on a top 15 collegiate beach volleyball school. I have been coming to Alandra since I was 13 for many different ailments from volleyball. I SWEAR she is a MIRACLE WORKER! I have been to some of the best physical therapists all over the world, trained and have been coached by many different professionals and have gone to their chiropractors, physical therapists, and trainers- and I have yet to find someone like Alandra! From having torn and sprained ligaments in my ankle, to knee issues, quad tears, hamstring pulls, tailbone out of alignment, and very bad bicep tendinitis she has FIXED me! I never write reviews so please trust this one, ALANDRA IS A MIRACLE PHYSICAL THERAPIST! Athletes she is your SAVIOR! 10/10 recommend Alandra!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve had on and off lower back pain for years from lifting weights. My most recent had me suffering from a major muscle spasm in my back one day to the point of being barely able to get up and down out of a seat without pain. OPT was able to see me almost immediately. This was my first experience going to a PT instead of strictly just going to a chiropractor, but Alandra and her staff did most of the heavy work here in getting me mobile again and fully functional after 2-3 weeks. Knowledgeable about injury recovery and even more importantly, prevention, they laid out numerous exercises and practices for me to implement in my workout routine that immediately started making a difference. They were always attentive during my exercises to make sure I wasn’t cheating myself, and communicative through text whenever I had questions or needed to reschedule. Highly recommend this clinic.

Fantastic experience: I don't know what I would've done after my patella tendon repair surgery. Each session has been a tremendous benefit on my recovery, and mobility. The service has been excellent since day 1. I highly recommend this place for any type of physical therapy needed. I will soon be back on a bike, and excited to be able to perform these activities with no worries of pain or swelling.

Fantastic experience: Alanadra (PT) and her staff are life changers!! Literally after one visit, my swelling had to gone down 50% and I felt like I could walk almost pain free again! I had also seen a chiropractor 19 times before one visit to Alandra and not one helped me as much she did with just one visit! They are super kind and have very optimistic workplace! I'm so happy I found them❤

My new pain management specialist wanted to send me to there PT and said flat NO WAY. The very first time I met Alandra, Sheryl, and Lexi they are an AWESOME team. Also I really enjoy the music. I notice that they are always cleaning up after we use there tools. With COVID-19 and all that’s going on that’s extremely important. Fantastic experience: This OPT group is awesome! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted by a young lady named Cheryl. She always greets you with a smile and a friendly hello. I have been doing PT on and off with this group since the beginning of this year after having total knee replacement surgery. Alandra the therapist is awesome! She is very professional, thorough and most definitely is a people person. What I like most about Alandra is that she really cares about her patients. Before I started going to OPT I had heard horror stories about therapists that were very pushy and would actually make their patients cry. Alandra has not once been that way with me. She’s been very patient with me. The other therapist Lexi works with me as well and has been wonderful. This group is definitely taking Covid seriously as well. You have to walk in with a mask and they are all wearing masks as well. I’ve noticed that they are using disinfectant to clean the area after every session. That is very important to me. I tried another physical therapy group at one time but I was not happy with them at all. I ended up coming back to OPT, my happy place.

Fantastic experience: Came in with knee replacement issues straight from the hospital. Fearing to expect real pain, sure enough, but the staff are professionals. I knew that going through pain was going to make me stronger and sure enough when we were done through the process, I walked out of therapy walking better and no pain. It was a very pleasant experience and I thank them very much, totally grateful. They gave me my life back pain free! No pain, no walking cane!

Fantastic experience: OPT is wonderful! The entire team contributes to you recovery through their encouragement and support. I completely destroyed my knee and had to learn to walk all over again. It took two surgeries, 7 months and hundreds of hours of therapy! At only 40 and with 5 kids, I needed to be able to get back to an active life style. Alandra is and excellent therapist and cares so much. She is detailed oriented and can tell quickly if a patient is struggling or needing additional interventions. Alandra and team invested months into my recovery. I am confident that I would not be back to normal today had it not been for Alandra and the opt staff. If you want a physical therapist who recognizes your personhood and never treats you as a number then you should come here.

My Dr. Initially referred to Airrosti to address my pain, which I was little confused by because I actually needed physical therapy. The staff is amazing! Alandra, the physical therapist, is one of the BEST in the CITY!!! My first treatment I improved drastically. She’s extremely knowledgeable and thorough. The staff is as well. I highly recommend this clinic, actually this Physical Therapist. Thank you for fixing me. I am now pain free.

Fantastic experience: I have seen chiropractors here in San Antonio. I’ve flown to other cities to see some of the best chiropractors in the state. I’ve been to a Airrosti and I’ve paid hundreds of dollars taking over the counter medicine for my muscle pains to subside, yet all it took was a visit in the care of Alondra. Her bedside manner is impeccable, and gives attention to all the details of my pain, she can easily point out the spots where I’m hurting even the spots I didn’t even know I had . She finally was able to offer a solution to my muscle pain that other doctors said to take NSAID. My favorite part about my therapy is I never feel rushed by 30 minute intervals as you would when you go in to any doctors office and the take insurance . So far therapy for me has been relaxing, a light workout and stretch, and end with some TLC “ tender loving care”. 10/10*

Fantastic experience: As our world is upside down now due to Corona Virus and things are extremely uncertain to add to this, suffering with pain is very emotional. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the Care that each and everyone at OPT, especially my Therapist Alandra. A true Professional in every sense of the word. Fantastic experience: I almost chose another therapy place based on their location. I’m so grateful that I went with OPT instead. Thinking about how I almost went somewhere else is hard to wrap my brain around. I’ve been spoiled by the OPT staff and I can’t imagine ever going to any other physical therapist ever again. The people, Alandra, Sheryl, James, and Jasmine are the hugest reason I looked forward to my therapy sessions. Sure, there was the whole incentive of wanting to get my range of motion and strength back after my surgery but they have such a great team vibe that’s obvious right off the bat that made it very entertaining to be there. It felt like you were with family or good friends. They’re very knowledgeable and patient but they will push you (within your limits) to get better. They offer a pick up and drop off service which is great for those who don’t have transportation. They’re flexible with scheduling sessions and very attentive. They will challenge you and cheer you on the whole way. If you put yourself in their hands and you do the work, you will reach your goals. They are simply your greatest advocate.

Fantastic experience: I’m currently a patient with OPT and I have to say the care I am receiving is top notch. Alandra (physical therapist ) and Lexi ( physical therapist assistant) are outstanding . They are very knowledgeable in what they do , they encourage and push you during the times therapy is the most difficult , and they show enough compassion to let you know they care with a little bit of tough love to push you to do better. I had a left total knee replacement on 11/6/20. I am currently in my 4th week of therapy , the first two weeks of therapy were extremely difficult and painful , these ladies were understanding yet they pushed me . I cried through the therapy but I got it done. Four weeks in now and I’m doing great . I’m not 100% yet but I know I will be in a few more weeks. I went from not being able to lift my leg after surgery to being able to walk on my own , most times without my cane . They truly are my saving grace , I couldn’t ask for better therapist. I completely trust them with my care. If your desire is to truly be able to move and live life better , these ladies are the answer to your physical therapy needs.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so friendly specially Sheryl she is such a sweet lady and very friendly. The therapist are thorough and do a great job my daughter has been suffering from back pain for some time now and she is doing so much better now.
