Fantastic experience: Elissa worked with me for a couple months during my ACL reconstruction rehab. Elissa was great, highly recommend. She was very in tuned with my specific recovery and progress. She gave me the confidence I needed to continue pushing through such a challenging rehab and was there to help when I needed.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Adam for a few months at the Wallingford office, and made a lot of progress on my wrist and foot. Positive atmosphere, easy to work with. Remy behind the desk greets everyone with warmth. I've only good things to say.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Biojunction Physical Therapy. I worked with Elissa post ACL surgery. She was such an incredible Physical Therapist, truly cared deeply about patience care, both mentally and physically. I felt so supported through ACL Recovery, which can be a real emotional rollercoaster. However, every week PT gave me the motivation I needed to get stronger and stay at it. If you're a woman you know how epic it is to have badass lady doctors/physical therapists to work with. Makes a huge difference, in my opinion. If you need PT, go to Biojunciton. The staff is great, and Elissa is the best!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Isaac is a genuine genius and so kind and you can tell this person cares about his patients. You can't help to be thankful for when you can move again with his help. So grateful... give this guy all your monies so he can heal more people.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Biojunction are all committed to ensuring every patient's experience is positive and productive. Each time I walk in the door, I am welcomed with a friendly greeting by staff members who truly care about their patients. I'm thankful to have found Julie as a physical therapist. She is knowledgeable and comes up with effective exercises for me to do both during the appointment and at home. She listens to my needs, concerns, and goals and tailors her recommendations to my specific situation. She encourages me and holds me accountable for completing my at-home exercises so that I stay on track to reach my desired outcome. If you have physical therapy needs, I highly recommend giving Biojunction's Wallingford office a try.

Fantastic experience: I saw Lora and her staff after receiving a recommendation from a friend. After dealing with hip pain/discomfort for over a year that had limited my ability to play sports (volleyball specifically) and not understanding how to correct the situation, it was time to do something different. Lora performed physical testing and assessment along with listening to my descriptions and asking questions in a very thorough manner on our first meeting. I loved that she was also an avid volleyball player, but that aspect wasn’t really relevant to her ability to help my situation. After two months of weekly sessions applying a variety of treatments, exercises, stretching and evaluation I had begun to see the results and learned so much in the process that I had been oblivious to on my own. Lora developed an “aftercare” program that I follow months later to keep adding strength and flexibility. Can’t say enough about Lora and her team, but know that they provide a caring, thoughtful approach to solving their clients physical issues.

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful to the team at Biojunction and specifically Elaina for helping me recover from my back surgery. When I first saw Elaina I was in a lot of pain and could barely walk. She looked at my MRI and was very knowledgeable and honest about what it meant— and she was right, because I had to have surgery! I was so happy when I could see Elaina again six weeks later and get to work rebuilding my strength. In the month I've been working with her I've experienced a huge decrease in pain and I am so much stronger. Elaina is very compassionate and thoughtful. She wants to make sure her patients are comfortable and not aggravating their injuries, and seems to intuitively understand when to back off. But— her goal is to get you stronger, and she does that. It's a fine balance! She's always checking in and super present during all of our appointments, and is also generally lovely to be around! Like I said, I am very grateful for this attention and the regimen she has provided for me. Highly recommend Elaina and everyone else at Biojunction!!

Fantastic experience: I have come here for two different injuries and highly recommend this place! Both of the PT's I worked with took the time to really check out my injuries and create plans to address them. My PT routines were effective and both of my injuries healed. This is a friendly place, nice atmosphere, and the office management people are very nice as well. Absolutely nothing bad to say - I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: I am a 78 year old woman who had major back surgery this past year. My doctor suggested Physical Therapy when healed enough. I choose Biojunction as I had been there a few years earlier and remembered feeling very comfortable and impressed with their professionalism. Lo and behold my earlier therapist was still there. What luck! Julie was able to take me on, thank goodness! At the time I felt certain that my recovery would be minimal at best. Julie gently encouraged and gave me the confidence I desperately needed. My mobility is much greater then I expected. The office staff also needs a 'shout out'! Always friendly and warm. Was first impressed that all front desk welcomed me by name upon arrival. A rarity in this day and age. Thanks Biojunction and Julie for all you do. Carol Comer

Fantastic experience: Dr. Isaac Durrington is the best! He is very thorough and knowledgeable at how to help your body heal so you can get back to doing what you love! I came to him after experiencing knee pain while running and am happy to say I am fully healed and back on the trails running :) He makes it really easy to perform the rehab exercises consistently at home by providing demonstration videos and walking you through step by step at your sessions. Manual therapy for me included cupping, scraping & stretching - I highly recommend Biojunction!

Fantastic experience: I had a hamstring/sciatica injury that completely shut down my running about a month before the Zion 100 miler. I was desperate! Isaac worked a miracle on an old man, and I finished the race with no mechanical issues at all (except a couple of blisters and lost toenails) in 32.5 hours. My legs felt great the whole way, even on the steepest climbs up the mesas. I turned 60 at midnight during the race just past Mile 60, and finished 3rd in the age 55-59 class. Would’ve won my age group by 40 minutes if they used my age at the finish! All my milestone birthday goals were met thanks to those guys.

Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr. Isaac for a recurring back injury last year and worked with him for about six months to not only loosen up the back, but to identify and strengthen the underlying problem areas to prevent it from happening again. Isaac is very thorough and worked with me to find exercises that were effective and that I would actually do on my own. As a long-distance runner and cyclist whose body is not as willing as it once was to tolerate endurance events, I really appreciated Isaac's guidance to keep me on track. I also very much appreciated the front office staff. Always professional and kind, even in the early AM, or when I had to reschedule an appointment at the last minute. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: Isaac is amazing! He has a heart for this work, and the head to go with it. He took me through months of strengthening for my hip pain, always listened to my self-reports and adjusted treatment accordingly, tailored new exercises as I progressed, and delivered such well-informed, flexible, caring service that I was a little sad to graduate! Isaac created space for me to see that getting stronger and reducing pain were within my reach. And Biojunction's Pilates Cadillac machine was a game-changer for my core conditioning. Thank you Biojunction for helping me heal!

Fantastic experience: I have been to multiple physical therapists for multiple injuries over the past few years, and Biojunction Sports Therapy is by far the best and most thorough. I tore my meniscus early in the ski season this year, and was told I might need surgery, and that my ski season could be over. Dr. Isaac Durrington got me started with physical therapy in order to hopefully avoid needing surgery. His program got more intensive each week as I made gains. I did not expect to be skiing at a high level again this season, but Isaac’s program far exceeded my expectations. After 6 weeks of physical therapy, I was cleared to hit the slopes (taking it easy). I continued my physical therapy regimen while also skiing twice per week and increasing intensity and the number of runs each time I went. By the 10th week after my injury, I was skiing first to last chair in full send mode. By the 13th week, my knee felt stronger than it did before my injury. I’m 34 years old and my knees are feeling like they did back in college. Isaac addressed the root cause of my repeated injuries, and emphasized the importance of “prehabbing” in order to avoid future injuries that would lead to more rehabbing. He gave me a solid leg workout regimen which I have been following to keep my legs strong and reduce the chances of getting injured again. As ski season was winding down, and mountain biking season was on the horizon, he pointed out that my hamstrings were not as flexible as they should be, and gave me a stretching routine along with biking oriented leg workouts. He also referred me to Dr. Julie Vanni to get my bikes fitted in order to keep me pedaling as ergonomically as possible. Julie fine tuned some adjustments and got both my road bike and mountain bike dialed in to the correct positions. I can feel a big difference, and I can tell this will help reduce the stress and wear on my knees and lower back. Thank you Isaac and Julie for not only getting me back in action, but for addressing and fixing the root causes of what was causing me to repeatedly get injured over the past few years! If you are an athlete who wants top notch care and to get back to peak performance ASAP, Biojunction Sports Therapy in Wallingford is the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Isaac is downright awesome and I really enjoyed my PT sessions with him. I'm happy to say that my prolonged ankle sprain has resolved very well, although I wouldn't have minded coming back for more sessions if I'd had to, simply because Isaac is a joy to work with! He is professional yet very easy to talk to. He provides excellent information, is nonjudgmental, and clearly cares about his clients and the quality of his work. I appreciated his sense of humor and easy-going nature; I had no doubt that I was well taken care of. I would recommend anyone I know to see Isaac and feel confident that he works well with people of all ages and ability levels. I'd also add that the front desk folks are kind and efficient, and I consistently felt that the whole team was doing a great job at keeping things as safe as possible for COVID. If and when I need PT again, I know who I'll come to see. Thanks, Isaac!
