Fantastic experience: My mother is very happy here. She is so well taken care of (better than I am able at this point). Every person on the staff from administration to nurses to cooks & maintenance people are kind, professional and great at what they do. We are blessed to have my mother be some a resident.

Fantastic experience: If you love your loved ones, this is not the place very aggressive and don't have patience. Patience is a virtue, that's something this place do not have. I'm a resident I know.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting my grandfather yesterday and was told that MeMe who works at the front office is no longer there anymore.☹️☹️ Does anyone knows which facility she went to or her contact info??? can you please reach out to me and let me know. she has a very bubbly spirit and smile and very helpful with my family and always welcomes our family with a warm welcome all the time.. Last time I saw her she didn't mention she was leaving. She will be missed

Fantastic experience: My husband has been at Victoria Gardens for quite a few weeks. I have been absolutely delighted with so many of the staff there. Kisha has been phenomenal! Jeanetta is a new employee and she’s doing an incredible job. Carlton works weekends and Larry enjoys him. Then there is the fabulous Mimi Edwards! Mimi is the kindest person - she has been a rock for me when needed. Victoria Gardens is lucky to have such a nurturing, helpful person.

Fantastic experience: I went for an interview today 5/9/23 for a CNA position. The staff is really friendly and I honestly felt nothing but good vibes there. Mimi who was at the front desk greeted me. She is nice and welcoming, we were having conversations like we were already coworkers. Cindy the director of nursing, I interviewed with her. She is really nice and friendly. She made me feel comfortable and treated me like I was already a member of their team. Twolla who is a RN gave me a tour around and was introducing me to the staff and patients there, she's really nice too and very outgoing. She was excited that I had mentioned I was feeling good vibes and she said "yessss we're all ready vibing" and she gave me a high five. I got offered the job today, now I'm just waiting for my background to clear and my offer letter. Praying all goes well. I've been out of work for a while and decided to go to school for my cna license to have more opportunities to grow. Eventually I'm going to go for my LPN. In hopes of everything goes well, I want to be able to grow within the company and stay there for years to come.

Fantastic experience: Leann Runge is the very best! She cares for residents, families and anyone she comes in contact with! She’s dedicated, professional, impartial with an infectious smile and personality. When someone says they’re available it doesn’t compare to Leann’s availability. She truly is available , she answered her phone during her time away for her wedding, that’s rare! What you see is what you get with Leann, consistency!

There were 5 of us at the desk and she took the time to make each one of us feel welcome. She even walked 2 first timer s to the room of their friend. No one was upset because she was marvelous. Fantastic experience: 5 Star Quality across the board. From the front desk, the nurses, kitchen staff. The dynamic team of PT/OT and speech therapists. Site Coordinators and admins. Victoria Gardens has been great to and for my Mother during her brief stays for skilled nursing.

Fantastic experience: I am an employee at Victoria Gardens of Allen. As I was driving to work this morning, I was thinking about how great our Team here really is. We have stuck together through thick and thin through this horrible year of COVID and I am proud of each and every one of our staff members. No one can imagine how difficult it was for our nurses and CNA's and staff as we endlessly faced the task of protecting our residents. I was surprised at times that some of them did not run away, but the bottom line is this staff CARES about people. Are we perfect? No. But do we try to do our best? Yes!!! My heart is moved by the caring and compassion I have seen, and I am SO very proud to be a part of this team. After going through so much together, our relationships are even stronger. Just like the song says..."What doesn't kill us makes us stronger". Wonderful to be part of a team with so much mutual respect for each other. One doesn't always find that. GO TEAM VGA!!!

Fantastic experience: My mother has been a resident at Victoria Gardens of Allen for 3 years. We are perfectly happy where she is, she chooses to stay there and we choose to keep her there. I see with the new leadership how things are going in the right direction & continue to improve. The staff is caring, friendly, and they genuine cares about the residents. Overall, we have been very pleased.

Fantastic experience: The Pandemic has been difficult for everyone but no more so than on the healthcare professionals. The great people that work at this facility must be commended for their efforts and dedication to caring for the residents here and at the same time caring for their own loved ones. You can’t see the smiling faces behind the mask, but they are there, all the while serving the residents in their hours of need. May they be blessed.

Fantastic experience: My wife Karen's mom has been here for over a year. She was at three other places before coming to Victoria Gardens in Allen and this has been our favorite place. She tells us constantly that this is the perfect place for her. Anita is the activities director and has her participating in as many activities as she has the energy for. (Karen's mom is 89). Anita is one of the main reasons that she likes Victoria Gardens so much. She also likes the rehab staff. They use a variety of activities in rehab. One day she said that the physical therapist waltzed with her. We had to transition her from private pay after the sale of her house to Medicaid and Gina at Victoria Gardens filled out the proper forms with us and got her approved. Another plus is that Karen's mom is always finding new friends to talk to there. She has had a few minor medical issues and between the staff and the visiting doctor Dr. Williams, they keep on top of the issues. When a nurse or an aide comes into her room when we are there, she will introduce us and then say this is my favorite nurse or aide. She also likes the food. She has called us several times with "you won't believe what I am having for dinner!" Update 6-2020 - She is still enjoying her stay. Victoria Gardens is managing the Covid situation very well. They give us periodic automated telephone calls regarding Covid status for the facility. They have tested the residents and staff periodically.

Fantastic experience: Came here for rehab after breaking left arm and leg. Therapy staff well trained, efficient, interested in me and my recovery. Nursing staff observant of needs I have and addressed concerns they saw or heard me speak of. They administered my regular meds with regular do’s aging and, along with Medical Director, Reviewed meds carefully And prescribed for needs. CNA’s cared for hygiene carefully and quickly, efficiently and discretely. As a whole, this has been a positive and helpful, necessary but pleasant experience at Victoria Gardens, Allen.

Fantastic experience: When my father in law needed to be in a rehab then the facility that we chose was Victoria Gardens of Allen. My wife Anita has worked as the Activity Director there for years and we knew that she would be able to be there with her Dad and help to guide his care. We are very pleased with the compassion and care that her Dad has had at the facility. The rehab is wonderful and helping her father regain his strength and being able to walk again. Her father is a Minister and he is even ministering to the staff there.Thank you to all of the staff that work each and every day helping to take care of the residents of Victoria Gardens of Allen. We are very pleased with the care.

Fantastic experience: Victoria Gardens is a 5 star facility which provides excellent care to residents. The team consisting of Administration, Nursing, CNAs, and other supportive staff are the best I have ever worked with.

Fantastic experience: My niece has been a resident at Victoria Gardens of Allen for the past 5 years until she recently passed. My mother had also been a resident for 2 of those 5 years. VGA has always been well maintained and the staff is very caring. My niece had the same daytime CNA (aid) for at least 4 of those years. Eden always took very good care of both my mother and my niece. All of the staff from administration, nursing, nutrition, rehab, activities, and daily care have been loving and kind to them. I think that this nursing home is one of the best in our area. I researched a lot of other homes before moving them here. When there are problems, as there will be in any skilled nursing facility, they were addressed and resolved appropriately Anita, the activities director, is very good about keeping the residents involved with bingo, games, art and music and manicures, etc. She also helped us with memorial services for my mom and my niece that staff could participate in. it included a balloon release at both of the services, and it meant a lot to my family and to the staff that had cared for her. I would recommend VGA to anyone who needs a skilled nursing home for their family member.

Fantastic experience: I recently referred one of my friends to Victoria Gardens because my mom has been her for years. She told me that she has seen bad reviews on the facility. I felt like I had to look for myself and add a review. My mom has been at 2 other facilities and this is the best one we have been to. The facility is very clean and doesn't smell of urine. The nurses and aids have always been good to my mother. I toured with Allen and Mariel helped me every step of the way to get my mom here. I will say with this being my 3rd facility every place has its down falls but I can honestly say this place has been great for my family and most of all my mom.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with the staff at this facility for over a year, helping seniors in our community that are in need of both long term placement and short term stays. The management staff here is very knowledgeable and quick to act in the patient’s best interest. The care staff is friendly and I have personally watched them interact with both patients and family members. This is a wonderful facility with a great staff to care for your loved one.

Fantastic experience: We have been volunteering at Victoria gardens for about 3 or 4 years and continously the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. They are always keeping up with the patients and keep the place in order. Staff member Annita does amazing job at engaging & entertaining the paitents daily with activities and games. The staff and nurses seem genuinely interested and concerned with their patients well-being.

Fantastic experience: I will forever be greatful to the caring staff at this facility. I can truly say the last year I had with my mother I will always cherish thanks to the care given to her. Fantastic experience: Toured the facility looking for some where my mom can stay and improve. Nice clean facility, everyone I met and talked with (patients, not staff) were happy and comfortable. Out of the four facilities I have visited this is by far the most well kept, and easily the best atmosphere. A lot more effort is made here to make folks feel part of the place.
