Fantastic experience: Clean facility with Friendly Personnel. Is not overcrowded to the fact that you are nervous. My family will be using this Altus facility again if the need arises.

Fantastic experience: I had such a wonderful experience before and during my surgery day... Everyone treated me special and with so much care. Knowing I was going to have my knee worked on caused me some stress but as it turned out ,with everyone involved that stress was gone...the care was excellent and I'm so happy I had my surgery at Altus... Fantastic experience: Went in and was treated with a smile and a how are you doing from the Reception. Then a short time feeling out paperwork. Then back to the back and no time I was completely done. My technician was perfect. Very polite and professional. Thank you for your service. I want to support this hospital. Fantastic experience: My experience at Altus Baytown Hospital was awesome. The staff was attentive, caring, and fixed me a steak dinner before I was discharged! Special shout-outs to RNs Esperanza in Preop, Michelle my circulator, Betty & Zen, & my PCT Esther on the post op floor, Jared PT and the PACU nurses that I don’t remember, but I know they took also took good care of me! I am lucky that I know what a great technician and the good outcomes that David MacDougall DO has as a neurosurgeon and how well Robert his PA assist and educates all of there patients! It was Dr. MacDougall’s choice that I have my procedure at Altus Baytown Hospital.

Fantastic experience: Altus Baytown, has the most amazing Dr.,nurse, and staff. Nurse Bailey was so friendly and caring, I honestly didn't feel any pain when getting my iv, super person and very caring. Dr. Obidike Akshara actually took time to listen to my issues and treatment was spot on for pain relief. Had to return to get test results and Suzanne was very friendly and excellent customer service. I highly recommend this emergency room, and will definitely return in the future.

Fantastic experience: I always have an amazing experience here . Nurse Ann is a blessing to this office she is so sweet and kind. It's a very safe and comfortable environment. I wouldn't go anywhere else or trust anyone else with my care . All of the staff is very kind and goes the extra mile to make sure your comfortable.

Fantastic experience: When we showed up in the emergency room, we were immediately taken care of. They put us in a room and we received personalized care addressing my health concerns. They were caring and compassionate. Being a small hospital, they were able to spend more time making certain we were well taken care of. We will definitely use them again.

Fantastic experience: All of the staff , nurses, dietician, hospitalist, were all very professional, courteous and prompt. They served with a smile and very happy even at 2am when alarms were going off like crazy. I cannot say enough good about the care and pation they all put into their job.

Fantastic experience: They are great, very patient and very kind they calmed me down and assuredme everything was going to be alright. My surgery went well I am very happy with the work they've done and I would recommend this hospital to my friends and family. Dr hoasjoe was very informative has great bed side manner and shows true concern for his patients and their families needs. Over all it was a very pleasant experience. Fantastic experience: The entire experience from pre-op, surgery, then my stay afterward was top notch! The staff there did everything possible to make this process go as smoothly as possible for me. They were attentive and caring and never once made me feel like I was an unpleasant task (and of course we did have a couple of unpleasant tasks!) LOL The meals are an experience in themselves! I was handed a menu and asked what I would like to have for dinner.... I ordered the ribeye with rice pilaf and broccoli, (then it was made to order) and had cheesecake for dessert! The meals were wonderful! I don't think anyone thinks of getting a knee replacement as a pleasant experience but if you have to get one done, this is definitely the place to do it because they made the experience as pleasant as possible!

Fantastic experience: This was our third surgery at Baytown Altus and wouldn’t recommend anyone else. The Doctors and nurses are the best. Even the food is the best. Diana, the Food Manager, does a great job filling everyone’s requests. I’ve recommended Dr Horn so many times I can’t count how many. It’s a modern, clean and efficiently run hospital with great outcomes.

Fantastic experience: From the time i arrived it was a great. The staff washed their hands and made sure i was taken care of. The food could be a little bit better. But overall great place to have surgery and be admitted.

Fantastic experience: From the time I checked in I was amazed how great everyone has been! Absolutely no complaints! From the check in person to all the wonderful nurses....they have been so caring and efficient. The ladies taking your food orders are wonderful too. This hospital is very clean also. Just have no complaints whatsoever.

Fantastic experience: I had to have surgery and I was very nervous because… well let’s face it it’s surgery and this is a very small hospital but by hands down the best hospital I’ve ever been to. The hospital is very nice and clean way better then a big hospital. The whole staff is awesome and every one is so caring, warm, and friendly it’s like having your best friend and family taking care of you. I’m having my second surgery in a few weeks and this go around I’m not even nervous because of how they treated me this time. I don’t know if I told them thank you for taking such good care of me because I was pretty out of it but I want to tell them now thank you so much y’all are the best.

Fantastic experience: All the staff was wonderful. I had foot surgery done at this facility and all the people I came in contact with were very nice people. It’s very rare to find that kind of customer service anymore.

Fantastic experience: Altus is the best hospital I have ever been in. The nurses were absolutely great. Every nurse was great. The doctors were outstanding. Dr. Mary Hewitt is the best and most caring doctor I have ever dealt with. Dr. McDougall is a world-class neurosurgeon. The food service was great and the food is delicious. The bed was comfortable! I will highly recommend Altus to anyone who needs surgery or has a need for a hospital. My experience could not have been better.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely phenomenal experience here! All of the nurses are SO kind and compassionate. Dr. Mitchell was wonderful! Hopefully I never have to go a hospital again but if I do, this is definitely the one I would choose!! So grateful for the amazing care I received here!

Fantastic experience: Went in for a knee procedure. Personally I'm not a fan of hospitals. But I'll tell you if I ever have to go to one I hope it's Altus. Hands down the best experience I've ever had. From the check in to checkout top notch. Everyone I dealt with was excellent. Great staff.

Fantastic experience: Everyone, especially Stephanie, were great, friendly, informative and so sweet. It feels good to know that people are so good especially when you are not in the best health . Stephanie was a delight on the phone and in person. I feel blessed she will be taking care of me.

Fantastic experience: I had back surgery here on 6-32020 & July 8th 2020 the staff is very friendly & good but they do need more night time nurses on staff! Five years ago I had neck surgery here and they had enough staff then at night so maybe it is due to the virus that they are understaffed at night at this time! The food is very good also I highly recommend the Steak,mashed potatoes and fresh green beans!! Thanks for all of y’all hard work and great care!!

Fantastic experience: I went in last night with severe pain in my right side. The lady at the front desk, Suzanne, was amazingly kind and super patient. She got me in and seen so fast I was honored. I am a woman of a certain size and she and the entire staff made me feel super comfortable. The nurses were awesome. Dr. Gonzalez was incredible. I was told that they had other patients ahead of me but, I was seen within 5 minutes of arriving there. My sister and my grand baby were with me and they were so kind and fun with my grandchild, she made her some new friends honey! They put me in a "kiddie" room that accommodated me and my granddaughter. I was in and out. They gave me an ultrasound, ekg, and ct scan all in under 2 hours. That's what I call good service. When my insurance didn't go through, they didn't have an attitude or treat me differently, nope, they just called me later and told me they would bill me separately. Later on my insurance came through and their attitudes were still warm. This is a great place to come when you need help asap!! Thank me later honey!! Be kind to this amazing staff!! They deserve it!!

Fantastic experience: Have been going here for a few years. Have never been disappointed. Dr's are quite competent at their jobs and listen to you in order to help you as well as the nurses and all medical staff. The front office is very efficient and polite. Would recommend to anyone that needs their services

Fantastic experience: The visit was longer than expected but I was treated so well. I had a pic line put in my arm for IV antibiotics. Did not expect to also receive 2 bags of antibiotics. The hospital provided a very good lunch. The nurse, Renee'was right there to explain what was going to happen so I was prepared. Scott was the specialist who put in the pic-line and did it perfectly the first time as proved by the x-ray they took. No one wants to go to the hospital but if you must, check out Altus!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely recommend this hospital. I was in need of emergency surgery. I was in and out with no issues. Nurses and the doctor were extremely nice and understanding. If I can choose to come here if ever in another emergency situation then I would if able to do so.

Fantastic experience: They are The Best. Couldnt have asked for better care. They were Wonderful. The Doctors, Nurses and Staff made me feel like I was one of their own family members. They are Christian oriented and take your feelings to heart.

Fantastic experience: Came in on a Monday my elbow had some inflammation/infection, the staff has been nothing but great from RN ,doctors , meal service and house keeping, They make you feel at home treat very well and make sure you are comfortable at all times. Thanks to all the great staff at Altus.

Fantastic experience: Everything went really well with my surgery and care at Altus Baytown Hospital. Staff was very caring, efficient and complete in their care for me. The nurses and technicians on the patient floor were awesome! I sometimes felt I was bothersome but they never complained. The techs encouraged me to have snacks, juices and soft drinks when I wanted them!

Fantastic experience: The staff at Altus is very professional and friendly. I was under medication during the first review. I feel Altus deserves more credit than what I first posted. They called me in day before surgery to do all of my pre-surgery checks. Blood work, blood pressure, chest xray, EKG, covid test... Altus goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and wellbeing of their patients. The nurses where not only friendly and professional but also thorough with the instructions to carry out through that day before surgery as well as the morning of. I can't remember names of all the nurses but thanks to Melissa, Stephanie, Nancy, other Nancy, and special thanks to Dr. John Horn. I highly recommend Dr. Horn for orthopedic. I'm glad to have my surgery behind me and believe I will have a quick recovery.

Fantastic experience: Staff was exceptional! The Anesthesiologist made me feel very comfortable, good bedside manner! Caring! Dr. Okeize is a man of few words, he listens and is kind and knowledgeable. My experiences have all been good! Only complaint my last procedure worked so well it lasted 4 years! Unfortunately, when I return I was treated as a new patient! But still experienced all same kindness and care!

Fantastic experience: I just had a very pleasant experience at this facility. When one goes to a medical facility, its generally a mixed bag of experiences. But not so with Altus Baytown. The facility was clean, modern, organized & quiet. The staff were all pleasant, kind, informative, proactive, attentive & highly skilled. Everyone seemed to explain things simply, thoroughly & completely. They did what they said, when they said & I felt like my level of care was far beyond my expectations. Wanda, Liz were amazing!! My pre-op anesthesia team were incredible. If my mother had to have a procedure done, I would want her to go to Altus, above all other facilities. Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with my visit. Everyone was polite and friendly on the office side. The nurses were prompt and efficient taking care of me. They answered all my questions and kept me updated the whole time I was there.

Fantastic experience: I was at Altus Baytown Hospital before Thanksgiving for a partial knee replacement I have never been in a hospital as wonderful as this one. The staff is professional and also very caring. The rooms are very nice and clean and the food was really good.Dr. Horn with Fondren Orthopedic In Baytown. Was also very good. He kept me informed every step of the way. They are a great combination. I fell confident of a complete recovery with their expertise and caring.

Fantastic experience: This was my first time ever being there. All of the staff was amazing. From the nurses to the dieticians. Best hospital food I've ever had. Restaurant quality. The nurses were so attentive and took the utmost care of me. Would recommend this hospital for sure.

Fantastic experience: I went in yesterday to have septoplasty and my experience was positive. Since day one when I went to do my paper work, pre ops and day of surgery I was treated kindly, with respect and the process was so quick I don’t remember what happened next after surgery. The nurses and staff were great and appreciate the attention given.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and technicians were very confident in the way they handled themselves. I had nine weeks of radiation for cancer. And I can’t remember any one of those mornings that the staff cannot help me and treat me as a king. The radiation technicians you’re very good at what they did. The concern when something wasn’t right they fixed it before they proceed with the procedure. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time visiting Altus urgent care and I had a wonderful experience! Whitney at the front desk was very helpful and sweet. The Nurse and Dr. were very fast and had great attitudes. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have had surgery downtown at other hospitals and did not receive the care I was given at Altus Baytown Hospital. Surgery is never a good experience but the doctor, nurses, anesthesiologist and other staff at the hospital from the time you walk in the door are A+. I have no complaints.
