Fantastic experience: Sarah was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very easy to talk to.

Fantastic experience: Patrick didn’t outstanding job of directing me through all of the exercises I needed to do to improve my balance, walking ability and endurance. Take carefully let me through a number of exercises that he also gave me in video form on my my chart app so I could do them at home as well. After several weeks of repeat and adding a few new ones in occasionally to keep it interesting he released me to go on my own. I would highly recommend Patrick and this facility to anyone who is looking for rehabilitation.

Negative experience: Do not go to see Amy Brown! She is abusive to people who are overweight. I was seen by her Summer of 2022 due to an injury in my calf. I was on crutches and ended up with a pinched nerve in my knee from not being able to straighten it out completely for a few weeks. I told her about my knee at the beginning of the appointment and requested that touching it be limited as it caused me even more pain than I was already in. She proceeded to continuously pat that knee and then held her hand on my knee while I screamed in pain and then called me dramatic. She then told me that it was because I needed to lose weight and accused me of not stretching my leg out and being lazy, and that was why my leg still hurt. Never mind the fact that I even told her that I had looked up PT exercises for my leg long before that appointment had been scheduled and had actually made significant progress at that point where I could almost stretch my leg out completely. She didn’t believe and I left the appointment in tears and completely humiliated. I was an employee at the time and while I did fill out the survey they send, I never heard anything on it and can see by their website that she is still working there. I was afraid of pushing the issue in case they found a reason to fire me, but that happened anyway. Funny how I get fired for being late because of a flat tire, but being abusive is totally acceptable.
From the Lee Health team - Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We apologize for the challenges you encountered during your visit and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our goal is to provide exceptional care, and we’d love the opportunity to discuss your experience in more detail.
Negative experience: I would steer clear of this outpatient rehabilitation center. The front desk person seemed not to understand or speak english. She would not let me see or explain what I was signing and was very rude. Who in their right mind would sign anything without seeing what it is? All the hospitals I have been to show you a laminated page so that you know what you are signing. The female therapist was nice enough but seemed put out with her work load. For future appointments, even if there are other physical therapists available they will not give you appointments that are convenient for your schedule. The last thing any patient wants to deal with for a weekly PT appointment is a rude front desk and tired therapists. To top it off I got some bizarre call from a Jody H. who called, never left a message, and then would not identify herself claiming my Medicare had not paid the bill. When further questioned she admitted that Medicare had paid their share! and they were still waiting on my secondary insurance. So why call me When I asked for her supervisor she put me into a general phone cue knowing she was out of line. Do better Lee Health. Also pls. fix the customer service hours on your website, everyone leaves at 4:30PM not 5PM. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have been both a patient and a volunteer. It's a wonderful practice with wonderful people
Negative experience: I attempted to be seen 2 weeks ago as my at home therapy was coming to an end. They refused to see me until I was completely discharged but had no appointments until 2 weeks later. I arrive today and was told there would be a 1500$ copay as this was a hospital. Sadly, I had inquired about my copay several weeks ago and was told they don't call the insurance company until the day before. Needless to say I left hysterical. What a huge setback in my recovery. Shame on you
Negative experience: Be sure to verify your insurance coverage as they do not until the day before appointment. Because they are owned by the hospital the copay is $350 a visit. I was not informed this until right before services. Going 3 times a week at $350 a visit was not realistic. Going to a privatey owned facilty the copay is much less.
Fantastic experience: My Fiance Amelia is getting therapy and the therapists are great and knowledgable with great attitude.
Fantastic experience: My Fiance Amelia is getting therapy and the therapists are great and knowledgable with great attitude.
Fantastic experience: Best physical therapists in SWFL!
Fantastic experience: My therapist Barbara Pagano is Great! The Staff is Very Nice and Friendly and Polite. Place is Very Clean....
Negative experience: Showed up for physical therapy on my neck that contains titanium and cadaver bone. Was refused to be seen because I wouldn’t sign a limited liability form!
Negative experience: STAY FAR AWAY!!! YOUR INSURANCE WILL BE CHARGED 878.00 FOR A 45 MINUTE SESSION. IF ANYONE WANTS PROOF I WILL GLADLY SHARE A SCREENSHOT OF THESE DREADFUL BILLS!!!
Positive experience: Personnel was friendly and therapists seemed good. However, two front desk people were wearing masks UNDER their noses, covering only their mouths. They were not 6 ft away from patients signing in. I’m not willing to contract Covid19 at an outpatient physical therapy facility because employees don’t want to cover their noses. This is disrespectful and inconsiderate of patients who are unfortunate enough to need therapy.
