Amanda Lightsey, PT, DPT, SFMA, CKTP, FMS

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a lot of Physical Therapists over the years and there isn’t anyone better than Amanda. She works side by side with you, demonstrating and explaining everything first. Plus she gives you pictures with explanations, so you’ll be able to take with you, what you do at her session, and repeat it at home. She’s so sweet and I look forward to my sessions with her. I’ve previously been to a few Physical Therapists that see you the first session, figure out a plan, then don’t see you for 6 weeks or more. They have no idea how you’re doing, because some PT tech or student wanting to be a PT sees you each time. I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t feeling any improvement. There was no accountability. That’s why some people think PT doesn’t work. It’s not like that here! Amanda is with you the whole time, every time. Amanda is so knowledgeable, therefore, you will get the best results possible. So be patient if it takes awhile to get in to see her, she is worth the wait!

Fantastic experience: Dr Lightsey is a very inspiring Doctor of Physical Therapy. Her enthusiasm makes me want to really try hard to achieve my goals. It's like every visit she gives me some of her energy to try harder and not give up. In other PT clinics that I have attended, the Doctor handed off my care to an assistant after the initial evaluation was completed. Dr Lightsey meets with me every session and modifies my program to keep me pain free. I am 75 yrs old and I really appreciate the mobility and freedom from pain that Dr Lightsey has helped me achieve.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lightsey is amazing! She believes all the parts of the body are "connected" and greatly interact with each other, so she develops an individual program for your whole body's needs. The program addresses the physical issue so thoroughly! Personable, intelligent, great listener, empathetic, encouraging, and AN EXPERT!

Fantastic experience: I blew out L3-5 in lower back. I could barely walk when I went to see her after first session I felt way better, good enough to go to a week long workshop where I had to go up and down stairs to class. I was hurting but if I had gone before our first session I don’t think I could have accomplished very much. Thank you Amanda.

Fantastic experience: Amanda is very professional and knowledgeable. When you go in to see her; you see her! It’s a personal appointment with Amanda and yourself. She never leaves you with another PT. She watches you do the exercises and helps, corrects, and guides you to what’s next. I won’t see another PT, Amanda treats me like a VIP!!
