Negative experience: I visited with an injured foot and saw Dr. Keith Heier. While the nurses and working staff were great, the doctor seemed not to care very much about my injury. As an example, my foot hurt in two separate and distinct spots. When I told him this, he made me narrow it down to one spot and then neglected to check anything regarding the other area. In general he seemed very disinterested and in a rush. I did not feel like my issue was taken into account as seriously as it should’ve been, and I will be going to a different doctor for a second opinion, hopefully one that can handle two injuries at once!

Fantastic experience: Dr. S. Sethi is a step above! My appointment was timely and Dr. Sethi was efficient and considerate. Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had. Thank you Dr. Sethi and thank you to the OrthoTexas staff everyone was pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be recommending this location.

Negative experience: My mom had appointment with Dr shikha sethi.my mom doesn't speak any English due to my work schedule I send my mom in taxi and I was helping Dr with translation on phone .Dr Sethi was so rude and very unkind to my mom .she Made my mom cry and she was also very disrespectful to me. I will not recommend anyone to go there especially to Dr Seth. She may be knowledgeable but care cones with respect.

Negative experience: Dr. Hieir very nice and professional. The front desk is a different story. The dark haired lady has not been nice to me once. The third time there I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment because they never get me in on time. I checked in and she made it very obvious to look at her watch to look at the time. Never smiles, needs to work on her customer service.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fuller and his staff are excellent! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had major foot surgery by Dr. Keith Heier. It is now four and a half weeks from surgery and as of today I am out of the hard cast and in a walking boot. Dr. Heier is an expert in his field of foot and ankle surgery. He explained what was wrong, how he could correct it, and the recovery process. I know I still have a ways to go with my recovery but I give him and his staff five stars!! Thank you !

Fantastic experience: Just had total right hip replacement surgery done by Dr. Brian Fuller. He did an amazing job! I put it off for several years because I was afraid…finally, the pain was so intense that I couldn’t put it off any longer. Dr. Fuller was very patient with me as I took my time deciding when to get it done. No pressure. I wish I had done it earlier. I love his approach to pain management. Offered alternatives to opioids by recommending other options including CBD and Tylenol, but still prescribed stronger medications for “breakthrough pain” to be used if needed. The procedure was done early in the morning and I walked to the car around noon. I recuperated at home with my husband’s help. Went through a few weeks of PT with lots of friendly encouragement. The best thing is no more pain and the incision is barely visible! Thank you Dr. Fuller, also known as “Superman”, for good reason.

Fantastic experience: The front desk staff is amazing. They greet you when you walk through the door. The check in and check out desk make sure all questions are answered with out flaw. My mother saw Dr. Brian Fuller. and his PA-C Brittany. They are both so amazing. When she was prepping for surgery Brittany went over all paperwork and set up their communicatin app on my moms phone. This app sent encouraging messages to her while she was recovering from both of her surgeries. These reminders included daily exercises along with what to expect with the recovery process for that day. Dr Brian Fuller is one of the best surgeons I have every met.He is an amazing provider. He takes the time to listent to the concerns of his patients and provide reassurances. His follow up is amazing and he wants his patients to recovery to be a smooth as possible. He also make sure he spoke with me and my sister as soon as my mother procedures were complete and always address both of us when we were either in office or at the surgery center I would highly recomment this surgeon his office and the surgery center.

Fantastic experience: The staff are kind, patient, knowledgeable, and sympathetic. You will be taken care of if you choose them as your healthcare provider.

Negative experience: This is my first time fracturing a bone and they have taken an already very painful, scary experience into their “professional” hands and made it so much worse. I described my fracture as it was diagnosed from the emergency room when I first called and was scheduled with Dr. Meyers who apparently does not have extensive knowledge on a fracture involving the ankle despite me describing it on the phone. This man had X-rays re done, poked around on my leg to confirm that my FRACTURE was painful (because pain on a fracture is to not be assumed, I guess) and told me to ice and elevate my leg, and see his colleague the next day because my need for surgery is 50/50. I drove an hour away from home just to be told by a “specialist” that there is a ‘50/50 chance for surgery’ and sent back home with no real plan?! Essentially…he doesn’t know what to do. I work at a veterinary orthopedic surgery center and this treatment would NEVER fly. If we get a referral for a fracture on a dog that occurred over the weekend, that dog is on the table by Monday, Tuesday morning at the LATEST. So what I have gathered from this experience is either a dog’s health is worth more than mine or the vet med industry is held to a higher standard of care than humans which is insane. Either way, this experience has been painful, disheartening, and condescending. I canceled my 2nd appointment and went elsewhere.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the service I recieved prior to even making an appt. I called 2 days ago to make an appointment for a new patient physical therapy session. I was told by Sonia before an appointment could be made, I would need to send a picture of my insurance card and also my ID. This was sent over about 5 mins later to her direct email. I was told by Sonia that once she receives these attachments via email, she will call me to set up an appointment. She never called me back. I called the office back a few hours later, and left a vm with no call back. I even called the following day and left another vm and still never received a call back. So, today I finally decided to make one final call. I finally get an answer from Sonia who proceeds to place me on hold after I gave her my information. Once she attempts to get back online, the call mysteriously drops. I decide to call back, and I was told that their phones have been having issues. She then tells me that they will be unable to see me due my insurance not be active for PT. So, here I am calling for the past 2 days with multiple voicemails, and no one thinks it may have been a good idea to tell me this?! If it's this difficult to schedule an appt, I will take my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Great and frendly staff.

Negative experience: I got charged $540.00 for the initial appointment, and my insurance (Tricare) is an out-of-network provider so I was forced to pay more than $200.00 for the visit. They accept Tricare but it is an out-of-network with Tricare. I couldn't find that information on the website or from the staff until I received the billing statement from the mail.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Guess and staff provided me with exceptional care for cervical surgery and follow up. They were very thorough and personable during my care.

Negative experience: The front desk staff were great, but Dr. Guess had such a cynical and condescending attitude, I left in tears. Doctors without empathy should not have a license.

Negative experience: My wife went in for an MRI on her Achilles. They scheduled her follow up appointment 3 weeks later. It turned out that she completely ruptured it. There was no contact to make aware of anything she could do to begin her healing process.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fagelman was so informative, truthful, and kind. He explained the options I had after my X-rays, a MRI, and let me select which treatment I wanted. The surgery went well. I am so happy with my recovery today. I also did physical therapy at OrthoTexas Rehab with Amy and Rich. Amy skillfully worked on my shoulder, and Rich provided consistent encouragement though my exercises. Thanks to both of you!

Negative experience: Left this facility crying after two separate appointments with two separate drs. They both made me feel like they just gave up on trying to help me. Second dr walked out of room and i didnt even know if i they were done and i was good to leave. I am in pain and dealing with a work place injury and both drs just seemed to not care at all. Theyre only solution to anything were injections. I have severe trypanophobia and have panic attacks just thinking about getting an injection. Neither one tried to come up with an alternative to help me out. Im supposed to have follow ups with both drs but im going to be canceling to find someone else.

Negative experience: Wife received two steroid shots. One in each shoulder. Basically she started to collapse as we were checking out. I didn't realize what was going on till we got to the front entrance. I did not receive any help from staff and receptionist would only point to were I could get a wheelchair. A patient in waiting room helped me figure out how to unfold the wheelchair. I was able to get her to car and carried her to seat. My thought was that she was just very tired so took her home for bed rest. I'm posting this review since she from time to time she still tells me how she felt abandoned and was still mad.

Negative experience: I made an online appointment with my insurance details. I also called them on 3 separate days to confirm my insurance is covered but the phone directly goes to voicemail. Fast forward to the appointment day I am driving to the office and receive a call from them saying my insurance is not covered. I waited for 2 weeks for the appointment for an injury. Don't waste your time here. Look at the recent reviews and you see this is a repeating issue.

Fantastic experience: I have used this clinic many times. I have always received outstanding care. Dr. Fuller is helping me with my knees and doing an excellent job. I like him because his bedside manner is so kind and he shares his knowledge to educate you on the pros and cons and welcomes your input into the decision making. The office if set to reduce wait time. They staff is excellent. The ladies at the front office know their job and do it. I highly recommend this office. They are excellent surgeons. Sherry L Dickie

Positive experience: I've been coming to OrthoTexas for various orthopedic issues since 2008. All the doctors have been great, knowledgeable, kind, and professional. During my past two visits I couldn't help but notice the strong urine smell throughout the reception/waiting room. It wasn't present in any other areas of patient care, perhaps by the afternoon the cleaning teams could do a better job.

Fantastic experience: I had a total hip replacement in January of this year (2023). I highly recommend Dr. Brian Fuller. He is a capable surgeon, and I am really happy with the results. My recovery continues to move forward and I appreciate his team’s resourceful support, before and after my surgery. Dr. Fuller takes great care of his patients and he brings a wide range of experience and excellent training to the specialized role of hip replacement surgery.

Fantastic experience: Got my surgery and my physical therapy done there. Everyone there was great, especially during the long physical therapy that allowed me to play my senior year of football.

Fantastic experience: I had shoulder surgery with Dr.Fagelman this year. Doc Fagelman, Rich , and Lissette were very caring and always available for my questions and concerns. I had some extra concerns since I am allergic to many prescription drugs. They all addressed my situation and came up with a great solution. I would recommend Texas Ortho to my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Efficient, professional and cheerful. Cudoes to all who helped me today, medical assistant, check-in staff,, Dr Arvesen, X-ray tech, casting and checking out. Sorry I didn’t get everyone’s name. Nice to graduate out of the brace today! Thanks Dr Arvesen for the pain relief you gave my knee.

Fantastic experience: The facility is very nice. The staff and doctor were friendly. Doctor Myers is awesome. I like that everyone was cheerful and did their job in a timely manner.

Negative experience: Anesthesia and nursing very good surgeon was rude and certainly not helpful in explaining to us procedure and threatened to go to next patient and stated our pun doctor should have explained everything. My husband got relief for short time but Dr Sethi bedside lacked big time

Negative experience: Came to the walk in clinic and they did an X-ray on a muscle tear (they X-ray every patient). The doctor came in and said his specialty was hip and he never actually looked at or examined the problem. The doctor recommended following up with another doctor. Don’t waste your time or money unless you have a broken bone.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Allmon is helping me with my dupreyens on my hands he's already released my pinky fingers contractions. We're now working on my thumb I just had injection yesterday and already se an improvement. Everyone is so attentive to my needs. Best Doctors visit ever.!

Positive experience: Dr. Fagelman was very friendly and helpful. The only reason that I can not give 5 stars is that it took forever to get back and see him. I sat in the waiting room for 40 minutes, when I really needed to get back to the office.

Negative experience: Had an appointment scheduled for a week, took off work early, canceled a training session, arrived 30 minute early. Only to be told that they’d have to reschedule me, “sorry”. Don’t know why or how they blew me off, but I don’t take kindly to wasting my time. May take my insurance elsewhere, still angry at the moment…we’ll see.

Negative experience: I called for an appointment with Dr. Guess whom I've seen before and was told he had a 3:15 cancellation for the next day so I accepted. I arrived for my appointment y 15 minutes early at 3:00 pm. I was called back to a room at 3:50. I explained my reason for the visit and provided a copy of my CT scan from the hospital and waited. By 4:50 I could wait no longer. I walked out and asked for my disc back and was told it was not done and the doctor would be with me shortly. I advised I had a 3:15 appt. And it was 4:50. A gentlemen I am not familiar with asked if I was told the doctor was working me in. I said no. Who was to tell me that and why? His PA, Kari was sitting there eating a bag of chips and did not say anything. I am very disappointed with this office staff. I would have expected better communication and will not return to see Dr Guess in the future. I am very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Update: if it was not for Dr. Sethi’s compassion and great interest to always trying to handle all things in the best way I would not have came back. I had a procedure again yesterday and the care I received today from the nurses/anesthesiologist was the absolute best!!!☺️ I don’t know why I forgot the pain would disappear next day until I read the paper that it would take in effect approx a week later. Well at least I had ZERO complaints about today && I am retracting my 1 star review 2 years ago now. Thank you Dr. Sethi & the WHOLE for making it less stressful!!! ☺️

Negative experience: I called today to schedule a first time appointment and the lady over the phone was incredibly rude. We were referred here by a family member because they had a wonderful experience with the doctor. This phone interaction was enough to have me looking for other options. A recommendation to management- give your front desk girl training.

Negative experience: Do not go!! This place is a scam! Went for PT, the first session started almost 15 min late and ended early. They also called me hours before my 3rd session to tell me they over booked my time slot, and asked me to reschedule. After telling them I couldn't move my time slot they said they would make someone else reschedule. Well they didn't make anyone else reschedule, and I got maybe 5 minutes with a trained therapist. Obviously after these experiences I choose to never return. However they claimed billing was messed up and I owed money months later. Explained how I felt cheated and they did nothing to help. Told me to contact my insurance or they'd send me to collections. Poorly run, just out to get every dollar they can. There are so many good OT places in North Dallas, look elsewhere and you'll be grateful you did!

Fantastic experience: My experience with Ortho Texas Orthopedics has been incredible! Every member of this staff was friendly and respectful. They all did their best to make me feel as comfortable as possible. My doctor was Dr Fagelman. He is an Honorable man and gifted as a surgeon. I feel very blessed to have this staff to help me through this unexpected situation. Thank you to all of the staff!!

Fantastic experience: Today, I saw Dr Myers. He shows compassion and caring while zeroing in on the problem and how to correct it. We've been coming here for the past 5 years. All the doctors and staff are wonderful to deal with. A special shout out to the front desk (check in) staff and the check out staff. They always start and end our visit with smiles and a kind word!

Fantastic experience: I was a new patient of Dr. Guess. My first impression when I walked in, very clean. The receptionist was super sweet. I had to wait maybe 5 minutes to be called back. (Do your paperwork online!! Saves a lot of time) The room was very clean. The PA came in quickly and we did X-rays. After that waited maybe 5 minutes for the Doc to come in. Excellent bedside manner. Very and I mean very thorough. He asked a lot of questions, was in no hurry. Listened to all of my concerns. He is very personable yet professional and extremely knowledgeable. I am glad to be a new patient here. I definitely recommend Ortho Texas, Dr. Guess!!

Fantastic experience: Great experience. It’s hard to find physicians and specialists that actually listen & CARE. Kevin Myers and his team went above and beyond to make sure my concerns were answered and didn’t rush me or shrug anything off. They treated me quickly and referred me to appropriate parties for other concerns and set a follow up to make sure what we covered was effective.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Myers did a fantastic job on my knee replacement. It looks much better then I expected. I continue to improve more each day. The surgery center and Dr. Myers did a great job of preparing me for getting ready for the surgery, what to expect during surgery and after. It has been a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Fagelman did an excellent job of repairing my torn rotator cuff and torn bicep. He was professional, kind and encouraging. He along with Rich and Lissette make a great team. He managed my expectations during the healing process, which along with Shelly, my Physical Therapist was very important to me. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Dr Sethi is awesome! She has been very instrumental in relieving my lower back pain. Very compassionate with excellent communication skills. Direct and honest with me about all options for relief of my acute back pain. After 3 injections, PT and chiropractic adjustments, it’s time for surgery. If you have lower back pain she is the doctor I would recommend to family and friends! Just Awesome!

Fantastic experience: My name is Cynthia Phillips and Dr. Heier just completed a revision surgery on my right ankle to correct a previous surgical attempt to repair a very bad fibular fracture involving ligament tears and removal of failing hardware. My entire experience with him and his staff at OrthoTexas was stellar beyond the telling. The professionalism, concern, thoroughness and personal follow up demonstrated by every member of his practice should be the standard by which any similar clinic should aspire. He saw me after hours when I had been admitted for complications from this previous surgery. The procedure was scheduled for the next day . Everything was taken care of in ways that exceeded my expectations and I am truly grateful to have been helped by such a superb clinician and his outstanding staff. Many thanks, Dr. Heier.

Fantastic experience: Over the course of the last few years I have destroyed my left bicep, left rotator cuff, and most recently my right bicep tendon and rotator cuff. I was referred to Dr. Fagleman by Trinity Medical Center in 2016 and feel that I have been extremely lucky in having met Dr. Fagleman. Him, Rich, their staff, and the girls at the front desk have taken such good care of me over the years. Dr. Fagleman is professional, accurate, and most improtant, loves what he does. Fantastic experience: My initial visit with Dr Fagelman was excellent. His patient skills are exceptional and his clinical assessment of my shoulder issue was just what I wanted to hear… that we would take things slowly and conservatively before rushing into a more invasive approach. He was thorough in his exam and diagnosis and thoughtful and engaged during our conversation. A great listener and also a fellow Longhorn! It doesn’t get any better than that! Fantastic experience: Dr. Keith Heier and his staff were all incredible and helpful through my severe ankle break. They were knowledgeable, kind and always explained what was going on. As someone who had never broken anything before the professionalism and bedside manner they showed really meant a lot when I was going through this difficult process. Although I would not recommend breaking your ankle, if you do, you are in great hands with Dr. Heier and his awesome team.

Fantastic experience: Getting my broken shoulder blade treated here, love the staff here including Dr Arvesen, Sabrina, the PA, X-ray tech and cashier lady - it’s now my 4th week and feeling better already, will take another 4 weeks to heal but not using the sling anymore, looking forward to my next appointment in 6 weeks. I only have a minor grouse And I hope I am not being petty, I have been here about 5 times so far - almost every time I check in there are 2 ladies at the reception, one white and one black. Every single time I came, I was standing in front of the white lady, the white lady never even acknowledged me (kept staring at her computer ) and I was checked in by the black lady sitting next to her who was courteous and professional . Same thing today, and i didn’t give it much thought till today when right behind me there was a white gentleman who was checking in, and the white receptionist lady not only looked up from her computer with her face lit up and said good morning, how are you? And then took about 10 minutes to check him in with some friendly banter - just Curious if she didn’t want to be bothered with non-white patients

Fantastic experience: The OrthoTexas staff has really impressed me with their friendly, efficiency. At my two week follow-up appointment, the check-in counter recognized me walking in the door, and had my file in hand by the time I reached the counter! My wait was minimal (5 minutes) when I was called to be seen. The doctor arrived in 10 minutes, evaluated my condition and progress, and I was out 5 minutes later! WoW! A doctor visit that lasts less than 30 minutes start to finish! It’s a testament to Dr Allmon and his staff doing the best they can to deliver awesome professional service, because they can…because they care. I am very pleased and happy they and the facility are so easily accessible. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Great service! Friendly, considerate, & helpful staff... the dozen or so that I have met in my 3 trips to the facility are all genuinely polite, good spirited, & very helpful. From phone reception who placed appointment, to Check in staff, to the medical assistants who initially help before Dr arrives in exam room, to x ray tech, to the discharge staff... every trip in has been a pleasant experience. & perhaps, the main reason for visiting, both the Dr’s who have examined & helped me recover from my injuries have been exceptional in their interactions with me. The Dr’s are patient & actually listen to my description of issue seeing them for. They seek out treatments that are least invasive & cost friendly as first option, They took the time to explain in detail what they were seeing in exam & x-rays, as well as going over treatment plans to make sure we are all in agreement with best way to make me better. I have tremendous respect for how well their patient interactions are handled... friendly & come across as compassionate for their patients health. Would recommend this location to anyone needing medical help. I live on opposite end of the county & pass by several similar practices to go to this office any issue that arises due to my trust & comfort here.

Fantastic experience: I can't share enough positive attributes about Ortho Texas of Carrollton. I've dealt with several of the team physicians for the past few years and each is top notch! The physicians and staff truly care about the patients and go out of their way to provide wonderful medical care and lots of TLC whenever necessary. It's great knowing my bones, joints and other orthopedic needs will be met in my senior years with this fantastic team. . .and that includes the terrific rehab unit as well!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Arvesen is very patient, detailed and willing to spend the extra time to listen to your concerns and ensure you are comfortable with his assessment. Dr. Arvesen completed my ACL surgery. Prior to surgery he walked me through a few options and encouraged me to to weigh my options so we could talk about them together. The day of surgery was a breeze and every follow up after that was even better. I felt like I was needing a little more out of my physical therapy; he took the time to have a conversation with the therapist to make sure we were all on the same page. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Arvesen! Additionally, the staff at Ortho Texas have been nothing but wonderful. His PA/MA and the front desk are great!

Fantastic experience: Dr Sethi is the greatest! she always knows so much about me and i love to visit with her on my visits. she has done procedures on me and it went flawless. She is so comforting and does an amazing job! will continue to refer clients to your location because of Dr Sethi.

Positive experience: I had a recent injury and needed an ortho specialist to look into it deeper. This place was recommended to me. I met with Dr. Meyers and his team, Tre and Jacqueline, about the injury. They were very knowledgeable and had good personalities that immediately put me at ease with the whole experience. The staff was professional and friendly during the wait. The check in process was easy and not difficult. The scheduling for future visits were slightly confusing but not stressful as it was quickly resolved. Only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because there's always room for improvements. I would recommend this place to anyone the needs an orthopedic specialist.

Fantastic experience: The staff in all positions are professional, helpful, accommodationing, highly knowledgeable, and were beyond my expectations. I am halfway through the process from the time I broke my ankle and happy to share that I believe the 2nd half will be just as same as the 1st half.

Fantastic experience: Doctor Fuller is an excellent doctor and very easy on the eyes lol he got me in physical and pool therapy for my knees they feel stronger but still in pain I'm awaiting the next step for the gel injections hopefully I'll be feeling young again because at 50 it shouldn't be already needing help to get off the couch and doctor Fuller has given me Hope!

Positive experience: My experience once I finally got in to be seen was great. All of the staff was attentive, professional and handled my concerns with respect. My only issue was I had to wait for 45 minutes after my scheduled time to be seen.

Fantastic experience: I had the shortest doctor visit in the world! I called at 2:15 today for an appointment with Dr. Allmon. The receptionist said “Can you come at 2:30?” So I zoomed to the clinic and signed in. I was walking around and someone asked who I was, found me a room, I was interviewed, the Xray tech came in the door and asked me to follow her to her office, then walked me back to my room and put the X-rays in the inbox by the door for the doctor. Dr. Allmon came in and said, “Did you break your wrist?” “Yes, 25 years ago...” “well now your ulna is a little longer than your radius and it’s causing your pain. You need a steroid.” One minute later I gritted my teeth, got a bandaid, walked to check-out and scheduled my follow-up. I was home before 3:00! An amazing organization, top to bottom! John Godbey.

I was referred to Dr. Heier by my regular physician and was very impressed with his knowledge and confidence in handling a very complex foot issue. I had surgery a week ago and very pleased with every step from the first visit to the post op visit today. Dr. Heier is the best foot and ankle surgeon and I would recommend him.

In my short 34 years I have unfortunately spent way too much time at the doctors, especially at Orthopedists.... by far after dozens of other Ortho doctors I have found my clinic & more importantly, doctor. From the ease of scheduling and expeditious intake. Not to mention the unbelievable bedside manner of Dr. John Arvesen and his PA/Nurses. Just couldn't say enough good things. AND that's before they even took care of my knee. Went in fearing I would need knee surgery and instead I was up and immediately skiing after two appointments in two weeks.
