Wellpoint Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic located in south College Station. We are a family-owned business committed to providing the highest quality care to every patient/client we have the privilege of serving. The care we provide is aimed at achieving positive outcomes and assisting our patients in achieving the highest possible level of function. Working closely with patients and their referring physicians, we provide one-on-one care to develop personally designed programs aimed at achieving established goals. We offer early and late appointments to accommodate any schedule. In most cases, we can schedule new appointments within 24 hours.

Dr. Hermann has been practicing in the Brazos Valley since 1995. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 1986, a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Akron in 1992 and a PhD in Exercise Physiology from Texas A&M University in 2000. Dr. Hermann and his staff are committed to providing the highest quality care to help clients reach their maximum potential and improve quality of life.

Fantastic experience: Karl has rehabbed all my sports injuries and surgeries. He is patient, thorough, and kind, but also tough! I recommend this clinic with two thumbs way up!

Fantastic experience: I was utmostly impressed with how Dr. Hermann and his entire staff caringly provided the treatment I needed each step of the way. They carry out the values any patient wants in a healthcare team. They listen, are mindful of the time they spend with each client, and put quality in all they do. The gym and patient areas are always tidy and organized. I also personally enjoyed the uplifting music they play in the clinic to boost my spirit as I recovered. Not to mention, Dr. Hermann's three daughters make chocolate for purchase, "Three Daughter's Chocolates" (and, it's delicious!!). It makes for great gifts or a wonderful treat after a hard-earned PT session :) I mean what other PT clinic has an awesome staff and awesome chocolate available, too?!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hermann is thoughtful and conscientious. His staff are considerate and caring. I have been a patient here for several weeks, and am so glad that I have been able to place my care in such wonderful hands. Such a great choice for physical therapy!!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hermann is fantastic! He has been treating my daughter for the last 4 months and I have to say we’ve had a remarkable experience. Caring, friendly, patient and understanding are a few words to describe his demeanor. His staff is wonderful and always happy to help with our questions and concerns. Fantastic experience: Big dose of whopping wonderful care. More than nice folks but EFFECTIVE folks. I've been a client for a few years - together we were able to rehab a chronic back issue to the point where I did the 2013 S&W Half Marathon in 3 hours. Karl is a retired marathoner so he understands runners. The other PT's there care for my friends and colleagues and they feel the same.
