After practicing since 1999 and owning a highly respected clinic in Palm Beach Gardens since 2005, Lou Fratto founded Delray Care Physical Therapy in 2016, in the beautiful town of Delray Beach, FL

After practicing since 1999 and owning a highly respected clinic in Palm Beach Gardens since 2005, Lou Fratto founded Delray Care Physical Therapy in 2016, in the beautiful town of Delray Beach, FL. 

Lou wanted to start a boutique style clinic that resisted the current state of healthcare, and provided a welcoming healing environment. This lead to the creation of a center that was able to quickly get patients back to their active lifestyles by employing a one on one, hands on, whole body approach tailored to each individual.

With that being said, this allows Lou to uphold the promise that at Delray Care Physical Therapy, you will be treated as a member of his family! Also, you will always be met with top notch customer service and respect, and always be treated by the same physical therapist.

MS, PT, MTC Lou Fratto has 24 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy treating arthritis, sports injuries, post surgical cases such as total knee, hip and shoulder replacements, rotator cuff repairs, back and neck surgeries, balance and vestibular problems, and neck and back pain, etc.

He graduated summa cum laude from university of Texas Dallas in 1992 with a BA in economics and finance, his master of science degree from Texas Women’s Physical Therapy School in 1999 and his advanced manual therapy certification from the University of St. Augustine in 2005.

After working for two corporate owned organizations, he opened a private practice with another physical therapist in Palm Beach Gardens in 2005. Then in 2016, he opened Delray Care Physical Therapy in his home town of Delray Beach, FL.

His love for helping people with the power of physical therapy, has led him all over the country to study under giants in the field such as Greg and Vicky Johnson, Stanley Paris, and Tim Crunk and he continues to study passionately with an ever present goal of bettering his skills so that he can better serve his patients.

Lou enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, family and friends, and their three pets. He also loves travel, eating out, exercising and he is a brown belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu.

To provide a second to none experience. One that involves the highest possible care in order to quickly get patients back to their activities such as playing with grandchildren, taking a walk with loved ones, gardening, traveling, exercising, playing golf or tennis, etc.

Lou, this is long overdue, I want to thank you for helping me get my life back when I thought I was hopeless. You know that for years of having epidurals and therapy, nothing got me out of pain for very long. My next step was going to be surgery or a spinal stimulator. My doctor told me to try you for therapy before I did any of those invasive procedures. You looked at me and my MRI and said, " I know you think it's your back but this pain is coming from your hip". What a leap of imagination! You helped me strengthen my hip and it worked! I have been pain free for 8 months now. Thank you Lou.

I have been having virtual session with Lou Fratto now for over a month. Though I prefer going to him, I must admit the online sessions have been wonderful. Absolutely, you ALWAYS have the right to choose where you receive physical therapy. About 50% of our patients are referred to us by physicians, while the other 50% of our clients have either been to us before or heard about us through a friend / relative.

In order to participate as in network providers with insurance companies, providers must accept steep discounts and agree to a myriad of limitations. On the other hand, out of network providers are not bound by insurance limitations on the quality and duration of visits.

Your therapist will conduct a thorough evaluation lasting approximately 60 min. This will allow him / her to design a treatment plan that is customized for you. Please bring shorts or a tank top as needed.

When he told me that he had worked with hundreds of knee replacement patients over the years, I figured he was qualified. I have to say that I'm extremely satisfied with Lou's initial evaluation and his knowledge of treatments. If I had a problem with getting through a rough stretch, Lou would tweak his exercises a little to get me through it. I went back 3 months ago to have my second knee done knowing that Lou would be there for me when I got back. I'm happy to say that I now have about 140 degrees of flexibility in both knees.
