Halifax Health | Brooks Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic - West Volusia: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this location for some time "off and on", I am a veteran of Physical Therapy personally. I have been to several P.T locations through out the years. I had back surgery of L5/ S1 in 2015. Although the surgery was extremely successful I have had to maintain my overall stretching and strengthening over the years. From time to time I have had to go back to P.T for a variety of other issues such as hip pain, tightness, low back pain, hamstrings, etc. I found the entire staff at this location to be 5 stars! This includes the front desk staff that always friendly greets you with a smile to the Physical Therapists that always treat you as their #1 patient even know they at times have to multi task with other patients they never leave you alone for more than a couple of minutes without coming back to check on you to make sure you are doing your PT correctly, etc. This place is truly top notch! I would HIGHLY recommend this location and staff to anyone who would prefer "quality" treatment over "quantity" treatment! Cheers!
Fantastic experience: I personally came here with an ankle injury and was barely walking and weight-bearing. I found this place online due to struggling to find a place that accepted my insurance. I came across this place, it's a little bit of a drive for me but it was well worth it. The level of care that I received at this facility was top-notch. I personally got to work with Sahil and Denise. Both therapists were very thorough. They made sure I was not hurting at all during the process. I just "graduated" from my therapy services yesterday and it was bittersweet because I will miss the awesome techs that interacted with me every day I went there. I can fully walk and do almost everything I could before and I could not be more satisfied with the results. Sandy was also awesome too at the front desk. Very efficient process going in and leaving. Thank you all for helping me! Definitely come here. You will NOT regret it!
Fantastic experience: If you're looking for physical therapy STOP looking, you've found the best. From the moment you first walk in and are greeted by Sandy, to the time you meet your therapist, your life will change for the better. EVERYONE here is phenomenal. Denise, Randi, Josh, thank you for everything you do for us! I walked in with a cane and now am walking up to 2 miles a day. In my life I was never one to exercise daily, now I exercise daily (or atleast try to). AND I lost weight! I had days I didn't want to go, but i made myself go. If you need PT, go. I know people who didn't go or quit PT after a major surgery and they complain about pain and mobility. If you go to PT, listen to your therapist, TRY, its hard at first but it gets easier. And your life will change for the better! I will miss everyone, but am glad I graduated. If or when I have another major surgery, I will definitely go back to BROOKS REHABILITATION WEST VOLUSIA!!! Again, thank you to EVERYONE there!
Fantastic experience: I have used brooks rehab several times, and been very pleased with the care I received. Their staff is professional and truly care about their patients. One of the times I went to Brooks, I was recovering from cancer treatments. I had been hospitalized for 9 days for pneumonia and could barely walk with a walker. I told my therapist that I wanted to be free of the walker. By the end of my therapy sessions ( max insurance allowed), I was stronger and balance was better, but I still needed the walker. My therapist gave me a plan to follow at home to continue building strength and improving balance, and 2 months later, I walked into the rehab center to let her know that the therapy did it’s job. Balance was still an issue due to chemo induced neuropathy, and I went back to brooks for additional therapy. Again, their therapists listened to my concerns, helped me improve, and provided follow up instructions to help me continue at home. If you need physical therapy, Brooks is excellent!
