ChildrenFirst's PPEC centers are full-service, medical daycares, dedicated to the best care of medically fragile infants and children.

Our PPEC centers are specifically designed to optimize the development of each child’s independence, while helping them reach their full potential. Daily care at our center involves clinical interventions, therapy services, and educational activities.

Along with you and your child’s physician, we determine your child’s specific nursing and therapeutic goals. You’ll receive a daily note describing what clinical interventions were done, what therapies (physical therapy PT, occupational therapy OT and speech and language therapy ST or SLP) were received and what developmental and educational activities occurred. Quarterly, or as often as needed, a personal conference is scheduled to discuss thoroughly your child’s progress toward all established goals.

ChildrenFirst PPEC centers are open Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We welcome all children from newborn to age 21 and our uniquely designed physical environments promote developmentally appropriate activities for each age group and meet individual needs.

PPEC is covered by Medicaid, Medicaid HMO’s, CMS Network and some commercial insurances. Our knowledgeable staff will handle all of the paperwork requirements and process your child’s admission, stress free for you and your family.

ChildrenFirst is the only PPEC Center in the United States to be awarded the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation. Since 1985, NAEYC goal has been to has ensure the quality of every child’s daily experiences while promoting positive early childhood outcomes.

Learning modules, lead by our nurturing educational team, provide opportunity for growth and stimulation every day. Whether engaged in outdoor play, indoor events or arts and crafts, education is an essential part of our daily routine.

The learning center at every ChildrenFirst PPEC is strategically designed by child educators to foster all areas of child development: cognitive, emotional, language, physical and social. Thereby enriching your child’s daily experience, while working to achieve and celebrate developmental milestones.
