CORA Physical Therapy Clearwater

Negative experience: OMG! What mess! Never go there! The PT room is in full view of the waiting area. Ever here of a back room a privacy? As far I I could tell 2 people on duty and 15 people waiting. My 2:00 appointment would have been at least 3:00 or longer The waisted has about 4-5 chairs The overflow was sitting around on the exercise tables! How unprofessional can it get?

Fantastic experience: The team at Cora Therapy work hand in hand to make sure you get the correct treatment . They try to accommodate an appointment ASAP. The therapists Debi and Sidney are great to try to get you back on your feet. However it is a pity they don’t have many more therapists to make it more on a one to one . More therapists are needed. They try to do their best they can with the shortage.

Fantastic experience: When I first came to Cora in Clearwater my balance was so bad I could barely walk straight and my posture was really terrible and out of alignment. Nick started me off slowly on a regimen to strengthen and stretch my muscles. It wasn't long before I felt 100% better. Thanks to Nick, Brian, Michelle (slave driver) and especially Cindy, who runs the office with professionalism and good humor. If it weren't for Cindy I'd never keep all my appts. straight. Bravo, girl!

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic facility! All of the physical therapist are very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to work with you to the best of your abilities. They were great at making contact with our doctor to make sure that everyone was working together on the rehabilitation plan. I would highly recommend Cora health services for your physical therapy, they make it easy and painless (almost haha)!

Negative experience: Watch your co-payment! Even though they spoke to the insurance company they still overcharged him by $44.50. My son should have only paid a $10.00 fee and was charged $54.50. We had our insurance company back on the phone after the transaction went through and they said we now need to wait till the claim is paid. It has been seven weeks and no refund.

Fantastic experience: Eric, Hayley, and Jake all helped in correcting my balance issues from a laminectomy surgery I had in February when I snowbirded to Clearwater in April and May, and went to CORA three times a week for two months. Each was very professional and attentive to my needs. I can confidently recommend anyone to use their services.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this CORA location for a back injury for many months now, and it is because of them I feel prepared to tackle everyday life with "my new normal". They are very attentive, friendly, and I very much enjoyed my PT with Kerri and Sheree ❤. They were both super down to earth and took their time with me to get better. Jaden and Clander were always a happy smiling face whenever I walked in, and definitly made me feel welcomed and encouraged. I didn't get much time with Becky, but she was always friendly and very attentive with her patients. The whole team is top notch! I will definitly miss my PT days with Kerri, Sheree, and the team!

Fantastic experience: Cora therapy in Clearwater is a wonderful place for healing. The therapists are knowledgeable and very kind. They remind me of my appointments and follow through if I happen to miss one. They encourage me to do exercisrs at home. They always remind me to "push to the point of pain but NOT to push through the pain. I really like going there because I can feel the difference it makes in my recovery. Thank you to my therapist!

Fantastic experience: I was very "anxious" and apprehensive about going to physical therapy even though my doctor strongly recommended that I do it. I had been diagnosed with bulging discs from L2 to L5 and had pain and numbness in my right thigh. The staff spoke to me on the phone, encouraging me to come in and see what they had to offer. I cannot express my satisfaction with the therapy I received and the kindness I received from staff, especially Kelly and Joe. They worked with me, gave me exercises to strengthen my back and legs, and I am now able to walk, be active, and do housework without pain. I would highly recommend Cora on Hercules for physical therapy. Their entire staff is great. Thank you to all of you.

Fantastic experience: I was directed by my insurance to another rehabilitation business and left there unhappy. I totally had a bad taste in my mouth for rehab after that and came to Cora expecting the worse. Then met the staff here in Clearwater. I look forward to my rehab days. Emily was amazing and very helpful in the beginning. Then I met Joe and Kelly. Both are really helpful with working my body and are very knowledgeable at what they do. Joe goes out of his way even during his own lunch breaks to clean the equipment. Kelly is amazing at keeping up with me and my demands. She has even brought exercises from what he does at the gym to my sessions. The staff at Clearwater are to be commended on the work they do and keeping me on my toes every day. Thank you so much.

She treats everyone as equals, which can't always be said for all medical professionals in the business. Kellie is great at what she does. She brings a sort of geniality to the office. Fantastic experience: I had ankle surgery in January of 2016...in California...I did not finish my p.t. there, and my move really impeded my progress, as my ankle was very swollen, stiff and tight, and my heel was REALLY hurting. I asked my primary care physician if I could have a referral for some more p.t., and was referred to Cora Rehab, on Hercules, in Clearwater, approximately 7 weeks ago. Initial impression was positive, I was greeted upon arrival and my appointment started promptly. Emily has been my primary physical therapist throughout these 7 weeks, and I could not be more pleased with my progress. She has used the Graston technique on me at each visit (if you don't know about this, it is a way of breaking up scar tissue that really helps), along with deep tissue massage in the area of pain. Following that, I am put through various balance strengthening exercises. Each visit, she has questioned me about my pain, and I feel that she sincerely cares about her patients! I am still a 'work in progress,' but I feel that I have improved noticeably since my first visit. As I have observed the staff, they all seem extremely professional, and at the same time FRIENDLY! If you need to go through rehab, I highly recommend Cora!

Fantastic experience: This was my second term at the Clearwater CORA facility. After receiving excellent care when rehabbing from shoulder surgery in 2015, there was no hesitation on choosing a rehab location when I recently hurt my back. They get you into therapy so you can mend - other facilities may have week or two before you can get in to be evaluated...but not CORA - they want you to start rehab ASAP so you can get back on track. Easy to schedule appointments at preferred time of day, therapist always on schedule, oversight of exercises perfect, and ever-so-increasing level of exercise gets you where you need to be. Staff is polite and professional, and really makes an effort to personalize interaction (e.g., calling you by first name, greeting when entering, ensuring next appt is scheduled, asking how you are that day).
