Fantastic experience: My problem was with my hip flexors . This had been causing me pain in my lower back for close to a year. It was affecting my everyday life. I tried muscle relaxants and yoga with some relief. After the first session with Jon I was already noticing a difference. Within 4 weeks of doing what he told me , I am able to get out of bed fairly easy and no longer am feeling tightness in my groin, after sitting. I can bend over and pick up something up, I dropped on the floor, and I started running again! Thank you Jon Rios!

Fantastic experience: I began treatment with Jacob Sager due to injuries to my cervical spine. At my first visit he did a complete intake, measuring range of motion and gathering information required to put together an effective treatment plan. He's had a whole body approach to my treatment and thoroughly explains how different parts of the body work together. Treatment has been executed in phases, beginning with basic exercises to strengthen my neck working down to my shoulders and so on making sure that all movements are done safely and correctly. I appreciate that I'm able to do all of the exercises and stretches that he's taught me either at home or at the gym so I can continue progress outside of our sessions. The office suite has an open concept, with other patients being treated in the same space. This was intimidating initially however, I've grown more comfortable with it. They do have private rooms in the suite but beyond the initial consultation I'm not sure what they're used for. Easy scheduling, friendly and fun environment, clean facility, lovely view of the golf course, lots of exercise equipment, water cooler available, plenty of flat lot parking. I highly recommend Jacob and his team. Great job OPPT - Mid Pinellas (Bardmoor)!

Fantastic experience: I've had chronic lower back pain for over 4 years. After a flare up that led to sciatica down my thigh I decided it was time to try physical therapy after trying many other approaches. I worked with Jon who assessed my mobility and gave me specific exercises to do at home and during my visits. He was easy going and answered all my questions. After about a dozen sessions my sciatica was gone and the back pain was minor and would come and go instead of the constant pain like before. I can tell the home routine helped relieve some more pain after my sessions stopped. I had a follow up question after my sessions ended but Jon was kind enough to respond to my email. I highly recommend this location for your next PT needs.

Fantastic experience: The OPPT staff were always so welcoming whenever I walked in … from the very first day when I met with my therapist, Ellyn Nilsen, who went through my aches & pains & how to address them with core strength exercises and stretches that I could do every day at home on my bed & couch. In my case I had had lower back pain for over 3 years & in just 10 sessions the pain had greatly subsided & I could continue to work on these sets & reps at home. The pic is just a few of the things we worked on … but others around me had different exercises. The staff help guide you to wholeness again.
