Healthy Image Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: I scheduled a visit with Sylvia Ruetz, PT at Healthy Image Physical Therapy and received outstanding treatment for my right knee which had been bothering me for many years due to cartilage degeneration between my knee joint. When I first saw her I could barely walk and was in so much pain that I had to limit my physical activities and wear a knee brace almost all the time. Her treatment with hands-on massage, joint manipulation, ultrasound and specific exercise made a huge difference for me. The pain and discomfort went away after a few sessions. Sylvia is very knowledgeable, caring and took time to explain what I need to do to avoid pain without a need for knee replacement surgery which was my next option. Thanks to her I have been able to ride my bike again, paddleboard, go for walks on the beach and get back to physical activities which were almost impossible for my knee to handle before without pain. I highly recommend her and definitely will follow her instructions to live a better and healthier life.

Fantastic experience: Sylvia Ruetz Is an amazing and caring physical therapist. I have had the opportunity to work with Sylvia for more than 15 years as I tend to be accident prone and aging. As a result, I have had numerous operations for replacement and repair of knees, foot, hip, shoulder, back and wrist. I have come to appreciate the knowledge and experience and one on one care that she has delivered during my rehabilitation and recovery process. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Sylvia as a physical therapist and or personal trainer. However, you need to do your homework to fully recover. Fantastic experience: Sylvia has greatly helped me get my strength back after back surgery. She is very good explaining to you why and how you should do your exercises. I’m not one that likes to exercise, however she has shown me how necessary it is to keep up a good plan of exercise daily.

Fantastic experience: I had lower back surgery and have been working with Sylvia for the last six weeks. I am amazed at the progress that I have made since I started working with her. My pain is almost gone. She has been fantastic. Her knowledge of the anatomy and muscles Is amazing. She figured out the exercises that would help me recover from surgery. She takes time to explain the exercises and makes sure that you do them correctly. I have worked with several physical therapists and she is the best one. I would recommend her very highly.

Fantastic experience: I retired from pain management and physical medicine after 39 years. I have sent numerous patients to Sylvia, but until I had to see her myself after a serious crash that left me barely able to walk and with a shoulder impingement, I really had no true idea of how good she is. She does not hand you off to an assistant, but spends the entire time with you herself. I have seen amazing results in the patients that I sent and with my own injuries. I am now able to walk without falling and have full use and range of motion of my shoulder. I fully recommend her without reservations. I only gave her 4 stars because I could not give her 10
