Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehab Center

Positive experience: Hello, My husband was here for about 6 months and we appreciate the care he was given. The staff was friendly. They are sprucing up the facility more to make it more attractive: painting walls, painting the building outside, and improving the landscaping. It's a decent place.

Positive experience: My mother was there for about 6 weeks for rehab on a broken arm we visited almost daily. Pros: facilities never smelly or dirty, though the decor is outdated. Nurses were friendly and attentive. We had one issue concerning choice of painkillers and it was addressed quickly. Communication from nursing admin was prompt and helpful. Food was regular and my mother's special diet was followed. There were lots of activities for residents to enjoy. Cons: Administration understaffed outside of nursing. I would leave voice messages that were never returned. Unless I forced a face to face, nothing was handled in a timely manner. Even after discharge, was not given any information about what to expect next Would it kill you to hire more administrative assistants?

Fantastic experience: My mother was discharged from AdventHealth in Orlando and ordered into rehabilitation. I selected Atlantic Shores for her and it was the best decision we could have made. Her physical therapy and occupational therapy were top-notch. The staff at Atlantic Shores was amazing. They kept us informed of her progress weekly. I cannot say one thing bad about the staff at Atlantic Shores, and would highly recommend this to anyone that needs rehabilitation from either surgeries or reg, gaining their strength to be back living a normal life.

Fantastic experience: When I first admitted my husband, I wasn't sure because of what others had told me. But I came to find out the opposite. The care was excellent. My husband's condition improved tremendously and he enjoyed his stay. Very positive attitude and good care of the staff. It felt like home. Don't go by what others say.
