Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation - New Braunfels

Fantastic experience: There are some really good nurses and aids that took super good care of me!! I recommend Legend Oaks for the acute care as well as the physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: My mother-in-law was at Legend Oaks for the last 5 months of her life (2023-2024). She was not an easy patient. We visited her often and never once did we find her in a state of neglect. About half the time I visited, there was a staff member already in her room taking care of her (they didn't know I was coming), and the conversations I overheard (before they were aware of my presence) were always respectful and often compassionate despite her treatment of the staff. Legend Oaks did a fabulous job of communicating with us regularly and addressed any concerns or suggestions we had for making her stay more comfortable. Thank you, Legend Oaks staff, for being such a blessing to our family.

Fantastic experience: My mother was greatly cared for during her short stay. She said the staff was very friendly and helpful to her. It is extremely clean & smelled nice. This was the first time I'd used a physicality of care, I needed a break as a care giver. I was comfortable leaving her, being well cared for. She said the food was okay. Overall, it was a very positive experience and stay for us. I would recommend Legend Oaks to anyone in need of care.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Legend Oaks has been exceptional. The facility is far cleaner than any other nursing home I have ever experienced. I visit my mother there quite frequently and she is always fresh and her hair is always clean. She tells me all about her days and activities there, as well as her nurses and therapists and how well they treat her and I can attest to that as well, as I have been there during some of the speech and physical therapy and have been very impressed with what I witnessed. The admin side is also very good. Mrs. Brenda Martinez has been a huge help in trying to get the Medicaid approved and has been a guiding light for me from day one, even giving me her personal phone number so I could ask questions whether she was at work or not and she never left me hanging. I just want everyone to know this facility is the real McCoy and what I consider to be top notch ! Keep up the good work !!
