Glenview Wellness and Rehabilitation

Fantastic experience: My mom was well taken care of. All the nurses and aids are super supportive friendly and helpful with questions I had. My mom wasn’t comfortable with anyone showering her but me, her daughter. But when I went to the shower house it wasn’t clean, so I gave her a sink bath in her room and then she left the next. Overall the place was clean. She liked most meals but some came not even warm… The therapy people were the best with her. The only complaint I have is having to enter in the front check in and then walk all the way to the back. There is a back door for the employees and I did get to use it when loading up her things and bringing her home. Also I never had a team care meeting that I was supposed to have. I appreciate each and every person that was apart of her team.

Positive experience: My sister went in for rehab to regain strength after illness. The building is older, but clean and well maintained. She is getting proper care; however, there is always a lot of noise going on in the hallway. Either patients arguing from separate rooms or staff talking in their native language, right outside patient’s rooms. Too loud for comfort to a healing patient. Minor issues, but worth mentioning. I would be comfortable staying there.

Fantastic experience: This facility cares about the patients and everyone is very helpful. You can tell how content the patients are when you visit and see many of them smiling, out and about, being social and active. Definitely different from other facilities I have visited in the past where the patients were not active and didn't appear happy to be there at all. Great job to the team at Glenview Wellness and Rehab!
