Life Care Center of Ocala

Fantastic experience: I was a patient 3 years ago and can’t brag enough about the staff, pt, it, and the food was fabulous I had none of those issues that people negatively portrayed. I am now at Hawthorne and this place is a sure nightmare! Everyone on the floor caters to this one patient who is deaf. The patient of course blasts the tv or radio, but only is someone complains will they close her door. Doesn’t matter cause she opens it and continues to blast so EVERYONE could hear. I’ve cried in desperation cause I was right across the hall, so even if I closed my door I could hear the loudness.. I had a severe panic attack because I was looked at as being the bad guy. Why even other patients told me that this doesn’t happen anywhere else so don’t go to Hawthorne!

Fantastic experience: My mother is a resident of Life Care Center of Ocala. **Shout out to one of her nurses, Melissa.** Melissa goes out of her way to make sure my mom feels loved and safe. Melissa communicates with me thoroughly, she takes my countless questions and concerns seriously and she responds to me quickly and respectfully. (Don’t tell anyone ????but even when she’s not working Melissa has called in to check on my mom!) She is a true gift from God. I trust Melissa and her co-workers immensely. If you are looking for a safe, loving place for your loved one to be well cared for, I highly recommend Life Care Center of Ocala.

Fantastic experience: Wow, I am beyond excited that we were fortunate enough to find a bed for my mom here. Our last stay was at the Life care Center in Altamonte Springs and that facility did not meet our expectations at all. The Ocala location staff was courteous, kind, informative and professional. The facility itself was clean, spacious and welcoming. I’m so glad my mom finally feels better about being in a home. Thanks everyone
