I had knee pain for 3 months and went to see a doctor. They did some tests and determined that the pain was actually coming from my lower back. I did two more sections of treatment and I didn't have any more pain. I would highly recommend this doctor.

The wonderful physical therapists at this clinic are all wonderful and staff. I’m back for my second time. First they worked on my hand and it perfect, now we are working on my back and I am confident my back will turn out just like my hand did.
Dr. Steve is very patient and carefully listens to what the problem is. He does a great job of making me feel better after a few visits. I've been seeing him for over a year and he is the only person who has been able to help me.
I could go on for days about how great this place is, but I'll keep it short and to the point. Marie Fischer is the best occupational therapist out there. I wholeheartedly recommend seeing Marie if you're looking for an occupational therapist. She's a master at what she does.

Fantastic experience: At the doctors first recommendation, I did not think that I needed rehab on my knee but after going to D and D. They showed me how to strengthen both my legs. Connor was excellent at evaluating my strengths and weaknesses and they showed me some exercises I could do away from D&D that would continue to help me strengthen my knee all the folks we’re great at doing my different exercises so it turned out it was a very good month of training and rehabbing! Fantastic experience: I am currently having therapy at D&D. I had knee replacement in Dec, of 23 and therapy at D&D in January of 24 and now second knee replacement in July and receiving therapy now. Fantastic experience: I am amazed at how well my recovery has gone, thanks to great OT. I was sent here by my surgeon after surgery on my broken wrist. When I first came, I felt like I would never have use of my hand, but every day I am able to do more than the day before. I'm also learning about my wrist and how it works and heals. Fantastic experience: I had bilateral knee replacement surgery on Feb. 5 & 7, and am doing outpatient PT at D&X Sports. The therapists there are all great! I’m making progress very fast and be back at work in only 3 months.

Fantastic experience: My daughter strained a ligament in her wrist and needed OT! This is our first time using D and D Sports Med and they have been amazing! Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and the plan of care has been very thorough! Her wrist is so much better already, but she has a few more sessions to go before being cleared to return to normal activities and her tumbling! I highly recommend this place for any PT and OT needs!

Fantastic experience: I currently having PT after a reverse shoulder replacement. I'm very pleased with the results and so is my surgeon! I was going to Occupational therapy before the surgery and hope insurance will let me resume when I graduate from PT. I have RA. D and D therapy as well as senior fitness classes get the credit for my functioning with minimal pain.

Fantastic experience: Great place for PT! The staff are well-qualified, knowledgeable, encouraging, caring and friendly and the facilities are clean and well-equipped. Fantastic experience: I began post surgical therapy for a ruptured biceps tendon repair at D&D. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Rebecca Caudrillier was my therapist. She was amazing! Her and her team made every single therapy appointment fun and something to look forward to. They were just as excited about my recovery as I was. Rebecca was my favorite, Isabella was a very close 2nd ♂️ Just good people! I had a goal to be released back to full duty with the fire department at 12 weeks, which is the absolute minimum time the surgeon would consider, and Rebecca listened and supported me safely working toward that goal and ultimately achieving that! Fantastic experience: I wanted to start off by saying thank you to the amazing staff at D&D Sports Med, wish I could give them a rating higher than 5 stars they deserve it. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Everyone has been super nice and incredibly helpful during my recovery. I’ve had the pleasure of being treated by Kathy, Haley, and Mikki. They were all really knowledgeable and answered every question I had about my recovery. They genuinely cared about my improvement. Not a session went by that I didn’t feel they were doing their best to make sure I was feeling comfortable with my journey and progress. The Techs that I worked with the majority of the time were Ryan and Mikayla. Very wonderful people, they were encouraging and accommodating during my exercises. A pleasure to be around. They never judged me no matter how dumb some of my questions were and they were always happy to walk me through anything I wasn’t sure about. I can’t forget about the front desk staff either. They were just as great, Karen and Rocio have very wonderful personalities. It always felt very welcoming walking in and being greeted by them. When setting up appointments they always took the time to talk to me and figure out what times worked best for me. If it wasn’t really painful I would definitely break something again so that I could keep coming back. I also wanted to give a huge shoutout to Rebecca for being the best Bestie anyone could ask for during my time there.

Fantastic experience: This is my second time using D&D Sports Medicine in Denton Texas. I have to say after having 3 surgeries on my left hand, wrist and thumb. It was a little more painful than I thought it would be. When starting therapy with Mrs. Marie she was so kind and caring. I watched her with each patient when I was there. She always shows compassion and definitely knows what she's doing in the therapy business. She helped me on some painful days to get through therapy and showed me many home techniques to help strengthen my hand. I have since graduated therapy but could not have done it without Mrs. Marie. Fantastic experience: Rebecca and her team are absolutely amazing. I visited D&D for a custom made splint and Occupational Therpay due to a tendon laceration of the small finger. With Rebecca's help, I have gotten a lot of the range of motion and strength back. I have had the pleasure to also get help from the students/techs Jatzi, Isabella, Lexi, and Trevor. They all show great attention to detail and great interest in learning more about not only your treatment and protocol but also about you as a person. Also shout out to Karen who works at the front desk and always makes you feel welcome. Some things I learned: Wound Care (for scar and stitches) Scar Massage Retrograde Massage Passive range of motion exercises Active range of motion exercises

Fantastic experience: I came into D&D in Denton not being able to do the things I love like running and playing soccer after having ACL reconstruction surgery. The progress that I’ve made from my first day I walked in a few months ago to now has been night and day, and that is thanks to the staff and their attention to detail in my workouts. They accommodate and are creative with workouts that will get you to your specific end goals. I can’t thank them enough for getting me to where I want to be. Everyone was absolutely awesome to work with! From the front desk to the trainers and even the staff in the back, they were all super supportive and want to see you win! Also, be prepared to sweat.
Fantastic experience: Our senior fitness instructor is absolutely superb! Lowell Martin, and I, JERRE Ellis , have very often said how much better we feel after we leave the session!! She does exercises with us on all parts of the body which improves our fitness to the max. She takes time with us and always there to help us get through each exercise so that we do it correctly. I certainly hope D&D does everything possibly to keep her so that she does not leave for any reason.

Fantastic experience: absolutely incredible people and TOP NOTCH medical care. The OP (I forget her name) has 4000 hours of experience! And a whole lot more, just ask her. They recommended that I do exercises and gave me examples for how to treat my strained muscle. You don't get better medical care here. Just a word of advice though. Do not always expect to get out of there at a timely manner they have to treat more severe people first

Fantastic experience: I was approaching 70 before starting PT at D&D Sports Medicine. I had a myriad of muscle and joint aches and pains from my head to my feet. Because I hurt so much, I lost interest in everything. I felt like I was at the end of my rope. I stopped doing everything I used to enjoy, but then I discovered that it hurt more to do less. It hurt to sit or lie down, it hurt to get up, walk, stand, and drive. I just wanted to stop the pain. Other clinicians and therapists diagnosed depression and treated various symptoms with assorted medications, but I still suffered. Then, I requested a referral to D&D Sports Medicine, and I cannot believe the difference. I feel like I am 20 years younger and stronger. I can move better now than I could 20 or 30 years ago. Other people ask if I have been working out, and cannot belive how good I look. It is quite surprising that Mikki took an old dried up ball of clay and mold me into a new man. I have a new lease on life and now I am ready to live. I applaud Kathy, Mikki and the staff of D&D for being the Best of the Best in The City of Denton. ALAN CANDIA PTA, RET
