Upstate Physical Therapy

Fantastic experience: I’ve had PT several times in my life but the treatment and staff at Upstate Physical Therapy is the best I’ve ever experienced. They are knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, helpful and concerned that you receive the best treatment possible. After 7 months of illness I was weak and needed a great deal of help with my stamina and balance. With their help, my improvement has been amazing. I am so pleased!

Fantastic experience: I was in an accident that misaligned several vertebrae in my neck. I had a physical therapist prior to this office, and the treatment I received here was outstanding in comparison. Everyone here is very kind and attentive, you have a person assigned to you that guides you through each exercise and counts your repetitions and sets for you. I was never left alone in a corner to do therapy by myself. Taylor and Jordan at the front are also so helpful, when the my referral/the fax machine was having issues they went to the doctors office and got it so I could get scheduled. Even though I didn’t see the improvement I wanted to, everyone really tried to get me out of pain. I will just need a spine specialist and more ongoing treatments.

Fantastic experience: Matt and his team are AMAZING! I came to Upstate Physical Therapy not expecting to have much relief. I was so used to living with pain, that I couldn’t imagine anything different. Matt really listens and does everything to make sure my pain in manageable. I can with a pain level of a constant 9-10 and now I have days with NO pain at all! Highly recommend Upstate Physical Therapy for all your pain management, stretches and manual massages!

Viet Ho has been my physical therapist and is absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable! They created a therapy regime for me and every visit my ankle is stronger and shows great improvement. Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Upstate Physical Therapy 3 times a week for the past couple of weeks. I must say I can definitely feel a difference in my back, which gives me hope of a full recovery. The staff here are all friendly and courteous. Its a small facility which is good in my eyes because you become personable with the staff. I'd definitely recommend Upstate for your PT needs.

Fantastic experience: Viet is great! Everyone at this clinic are very friendly and they all know what they’re doing. They adjust exercises to fit my capabilities. Other Physical Therapists in the past stuck to their own routine, not taking into consideration what the patient could do. No wonder most folks give up on PT so fast, or don’t even go in the first place. When I first came to the clinic, I could not raise my arm up to my shoulder and I was in excruciating pain. Now, I’m almost pain free and I can raise my hand high in the sky! Thanks to everyone at Upstate PT. I so appreciate what you’ve helped me to achieve.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff.

Positive experience: Upstate is a small physical therapy office. They have great physical therapists that are very knowledgeable. I am giving them 4 stars because they are limited on the services that they can provide due to lacking certain equipment. They need more equipment for the therapy of the foot, such as mock stairs and a treadmill to stimulate that real life obstacle. The receptionist is also very friendly and nice.

Fantastic experience: These people are the best! They care, they take tome to get to know you. It’s never awkward or impersonal. They have great knowledge and I always feel better when I leave.

Fantastic experience: the PhD tailored my treatment and I reached my goals. He wanted me to continue but I had reached my shoulder goals. The Upstate team was considerate and we laughed a lot. I enjoyed my sessions and the entire team was helpful all the time and patient, never hurried my exercises. My PCP Dr recommended Upstate and I was glad he did. I only had to pay a small deductible each time.

Fantastic experience: My daughter started at Upstate Physical Therapy before me so when I found out that I needed physical therapy I insisted on going there too. The whole office is warm and inviting. You can really tell that each person cares about you and they also make it fun. I look forward to going to my appointments. Fantastic experience: Everybody at this practice is incredibly kind and professional! Jordan at the front desk helped take care of the referral and insurance issues while I was in the hospital trying to get the whole referral process done. When I was actually able to begin PT, I was impressed with the thoroughness of their evaluation and assessment. After even my first therapy session, I felt better. The therapist and the techs have helped me move forward with healing and getting stronger. I would encourage anyone to come to Upstate for their PT needs!

My left knee after the first two sessions of needling and exercise has gained more mobility and stability. The P.T. Tech Matt and the entire staff at Upstate really care about your health and make you feel like instant family. I would recommend this facility to any veteran or persons seeking physical therapy.

Fantastic experience: Matthew has done it again! I cannot thank Matt and his team enough for the amount of pain relief they have helped me achieve...again. It has taken multiple medical professionals and finally, I believe Matt has found the issue, problem and a fix to my back pain. I decided to come back to Upstate Physical Therapy due to their, attentiveness, kindness, knowledge, and ability to fix issues to get me back to living my life to its fullest. I have full faith and trust in Matt and his team to get me back to normal.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Upstate are incredibly kind and talented. They take the time to make each person feel like a person and not just another patient. They are encouraging and point out every improvement, no matter how small. They let you work at your own pace and in your own comfort zone, but they'll also challenge you when things start to get easy. I have been going for a dance related ankle injury and I would easily recommend them to dancers suffering from injury. I'd recommend them to everybody! Oh, they play some great music in the office as well

Fantastic experience: It hurts, bad (total knee replacement). My doctor told me it would but said I would have to work through it. I've used Upstate in years past and it was successful. Upstate does a good job, and it's worth the effort (and pain).

Fantastic experience: Mathew & his staff are very competent professionals, bring an unusual flair to the usual unpleasant nature of having to go to Physical Therapy. It’s not that your going to have to work one iota less, it’s that much of the time you may not notice it, because your laughing at their antics within! And of course patients like me, join in when the moment is appropriate. Thank you for the levity, our society & we need to be able to laugh more! Whether its at ourselves, others or whatever....as long as everyone knows it’s purely for fun & never any hurtfulness!
