Fantastic experience: My name is Susan. I am 88 years old and a widow. I live alone and I suffer from several orthopedic problems. I have pain in my spine. I have pain in my legs and pain in my shoulders. I walk with a walker. A year ago I was doing very poorly and it was suggested to me that I start physical therapy, which I did. I’m working with a group called Dr. Physio. My therapist comes to my home twice a week to help me maintain and improve my quality of life. I look forward all week to my visits from Hailey she comes into my apartment with a big smile, exuding warmth and concern. Over the past 40 years or so I’ve had lots of physical therapy. None of the therapists that I’ve had in the past have been as skilled, attentive and caring as Hailey. When she is here, her attention is total. She’s an excellent listener who understands what my pain is and addresses it. She also explains why I’m having pain in language that I can understand. Recently, the wonderful people at Dr. Physio‘s because of new areas of pain, have added Occupational Therapy to my schedule. Again, I’m getting top-notch service from a lovely young man named Moises. He understands what my issues are and he has been very helpful. I noticed that when he’s about to pull my arm to stretch me and he knows it’s going to hurt, He makes sure to engage me in interesting conversation so it doesn’t hurt so much. He’s helped me a great deal with my shoulders and my fingers and we’re working on my dexterity. I really appreciate him and Hailey.I want to thank them both for helping to enrich my life, not only by helping me physically but also by their warmth and skill. Thank you Susan

Fantastic experience: Fran is a brilliant kind gifted angel. My husband has Parkinson’s. He had fallen several times and was slowing down. The neurologist referred us here. The only PT I was familiar w was the traditional “sports therapy”. After the first session I nearly cried. This is not sports therapy … this is neurological physical therapy. The difference is amazing. Exercises involve multiple tasks involving the brain and body. She rarely repeats an exercise … which makes the hour so interesting. And appropriately challenging. My husband has improved greatly. Almost no falls. He is stronger and more confident. He looks forward to his 3 sessions per week. We love Fran and are continually impressed w her skills and manner. She is an angel.

From the moment we stepped in, I was thoroughly impressed by the level of care my brother received. His physiotherapist, Fran, has been nothing short of exceptional—she is professional, attentive, and highly knowledgeable. Fran’s personalized approach really made a difference. From the initial assessment, she took the time to understand my brother’s specific condition and tailored a treatment plan that suited his exact needs. She didn’t just treat him physically but ensured that he understood every step of the process, explaining each technique in a way that made him feel comfortable and confident. Her dedication, expertise, and compassionate care have made a world of difference for my brother. We are so grateful for her support, and I’m confident anyone seeking effective physiotherapy will benefit from her exceptional skills and care.

Initially, he used to go to the clinic for his treatment, but now unable to do so. Therefore, Mercello, the therapist, comes to my Dad's home to help him with his exercises. Mercello has been incredibly kind and supportive throughout my father’s ongoing treatment. Fantastic experience: As a horse trainer and Farrier my lower back is used and abused. Marcelo was recommended as the person to release my pain as well as instruct me on how to keep my body healthy so I can continue to work pain free. On my first visit, I was unable to stand up straight. He worked on me with his expert hands stretching, massaging and manipulating my body until I was confident I could ride the next morning. He gave me strong advice on stretches and exercises that would keep my recovery moving forward. I have returned to him for maintenance of my body again with the understanding of what a truly knowledgeable practitioner can due to keep a person healthy. Thank you Marcelo for your kindness, empathy, compassion and knowledge. I will certainly recommend him and Dr. Physio to other equine professionals. We need a guy like him. He is one of the good ones.

Fantastic experience: I’m new to Fort Lauderdale and was in need of physical therapy for sciatica that I have been dealing with for about a year.. I was fortunate to be referred to Lenisson “Lenny” Carneiro at Dr Pysio in Ft Lauderdale. I have had physical therapy over my lifetime but I have to say that I found Lenny to be one of the most professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and caring therapists I have ever dealt with. My sciatica is 95 percent better, pain is gone, and I’m sure if I follow his exercise regime, I can get to 100 percent. If you are in need of physical therapy, contact Lenny and I trust you will be amazed at the results as I am! It’s 4 years since my previous review and I’m happy to report sciatica is pretty much gone. I have returned to Dr Physio over the past few years for other issues.. Happy to say that all issues were made better by Dr Lenny and several other therapists that practice at this office..(Marcello, Marissa, Catarina, Rejane.. just to name a few of the talented caring staff) Torn meniscus is latest issue.. but I would not go anywhere but here for physical therapy!!

Fantastic experience: My father can walk because of Marcelo Milagres! With advanced Parkinson’s and following a 6 week hospital stay my father struggled to get out of a chair independently. Marcelo went to his home and worked with him until he was eventually able to travel to the therapy center. Marcelo keeps his spirits up and his body strong and balanced.

Fantastic experience: If I could give Carolina at Dr Physio I0 stars I would! Within 6 physical theropy sessions for the left side of my neck, clavicle, shoulder, ribs & dizziness, I am finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. Fantastic experience: Dear Tony: Today Friday November 3, 2023, 5 holes in total. 3 par 3 consecutively followed by 1 bogey on a par 3 and 6 shots on a par 4 I have not played so well for a long time and Stephen Conte my pro said that I moved much better “ one piece “ with good symmetry on both backswing and follow through. Fantastic experience: I’ve had an amazing experience at Dr. Physio, working with Marcelo Milagres. I went in with a torn hamstring tennis injury and lower back issues in July and am now back on the tennis court playing matches in November. I absolutely love the amount of personal attention that you get at Dr. Physio - literally undivided attention for the entire duration of your appointment, which I had not experienced before at any physical therapist. For injuries and treatment, Marcelo used a combination of Therapeutic massage, Chiropractic adjustments, and very specific exercises to strengthen the muscles around the injury and break down scar tissue. I feel like we did not just treat the symptoms of the injury, but we really worked on solving the problem that created the injuries in the first place. Dr. Physio has done an amazing job with my sports injuries and I highly recommend.

He arrives with a well thought out plan, and adapts as needed when new challenges arise. He coordinates care with highly specialized medical teams from ivy hospitals in complex Neurological conditions. Fantastic experience: Carolina Alcantara is amazing at what she does. She’s very knowledgeable in her profession. She’s focused and committed to her patients care. She only sees one client at a time for her full attention when other PT places are treating 2-3 clients at the same time. It’s rare to find one person that can offer both physical therapy and massage therapy. I’ve had excellent results for my chronic degenerative condition and I’ll continue to work with her going forward. I highly recommend her services!

My young adult son is a complex Neurological case requiring extensive knowledge, fluid adaptations, and on the spot thinking to be an integral part of my son's brain recovery rehabilitation. Matt has done considerable research and coordinates care with top Neurology specialists at MGH and BCH as part of a specialized medical team in rare medical conditions. I can't say enough about how much effort and quality services the therapists provide here and with completely individualized care to get results so quickly. Fantastic experience: ARIF Zaladin and CAROLINA Alcantara are my physical therapist following a car accident in late 2021. Arif is very thorough in his assessments, clear in communicating his plan of treatment to myself another involved therapists- and follows up my progress with my doctor outside the clinic regularly. Carolina is also an excellent therapist who I see for therapeutic massage in coordination with my treatment plan. I am in awe of her knowledge, ability to pinpoint problem areas and resolve them before I leave. Both have been very personable, professional and are very helpful with home exercises I can do as well as suggesting helpful tips for stress that I can do to improve my diagnosis and better my treatment. I am very appreciative to have found Dr. Physio to help me along this journey to recovery. Fantastic experience: I was in a snow skiing accident in February of 2022 which required extensive surgery on my right knee. ( ACL, other tendons and ligaments and patella). I am currently in with PT "Marcelo" on a protocol which is strengthening, stabilizing my knee and correcting bad habits and compensation with my left leg. He will have me back on the slopes! My husband has been a PT patient with "Lenny" and "Marcelo"for two years for Parkinsons. Fantastic experience: I am so grateful that I found Lenny and his amazing team to help provide PT to my 80 yr old mom after breaking her hip. My mom has dementia and needs extra support/reinforcement to regain her confidence and mobility. Fantastic experience: Dr. Physio provides a very professional and friendly atmosphere. Each session is with a therapist, one on one. When I started a few months ago, I was having balance and mobility issues. My strength, balance and mobility have greatly improved since working with Lenny and his professional caring staff. Fantastic experience: Lenny is an excellent therapist, very respectful, reliable. I am a caregiver if my patient had any kind of accident and Lenny would stick by me and help me till I will clean him up not very many therapist do that. He has helped my patient a lot to get moving and make sure he gets the proper exercise, he never gives up on a patient always tries his best and for that right now my patient is doing much better thanks to him.

Fantastic experience: I’m an attorney, so I suffer from constant pain in my neck and shoulder. Besides the young age, the pain is persistent. Lenny and Marcelo assist me with my pain. I’ve been going to Dr. Physio for over three months now. I still have no words to thank them for the care they have given me. They go further and beyond to ensure I’m doing the exercises I need to strengthen my shoulder and neck muscles. They are very attentive. The physiotherapist came to my condominium to show me how to do the necessary movements with the available machinery at the gym. I do the exercises three times a week at the gym and follow up at the clinic. I can feel the improvement slowly. They always answer all my questions and explain what the issue is and what we can do to improve. Very clarifying. I’m confident that they provide a five starts treatment, and I'm feeling much better.

Fantastic experience: Lenny is absolutely amazing. My 97 year old father broke his hip and spent a couple weeks in inpatient rehab. They were only able to get him to stand with maximum assistance. After my father was discharged from inpatient rehab to home we were very discouraged but I got Lenny’s name from a friend. He was able to get my father waking short distances in the first 1-2 sessions. I live long distance from my father and Lenny kept me informed of my father’s progress with texting and even videos. My father looks forward to his PT sessions. Lenny is very compassionate about his work and is excellent with older patients. We would not use anyone else. He is the best.
