Julietta and Graciela crafted a sacred and safe space where I truly felt seen, heard, and felt. The vulnerability shared among the women led to profound insights and personal breakthroughs. The entire retreat was seamlessly organized – from delicious meals and well-timed breaks to engaging agenda topics, everything ran like a well-oiled machine. The accommodations were beautiful, providing a cozy space for much-needed rest, and the time spent by the pool during breaks added a playful and fun touch to the experience. Thank you both for creating a retreat that was not only deeply healing but also mentally and emotionally rejuvenating. I’m already looking forward to the next one!

Fantastic experience: I'm not quite sure what I expected when I walked through the front door, but from that moment on, any preconceived ideas or notions were blown away! If not for the giant metal cages, one might even think they were in a spa! Very tranquil and serene! I had recently undergone spinal fusion, and after 2 months of basically doing nothing, I was more than eager to get the healing process started! What an amazing facility! And, even more amazing therapists! Mary, the office manager (Quite amazing herself), has assembled a wonderful staff! Unlike other facilities (Holy Cross Hospital), here you will be treated as an individual. Each therapy session is one on one and with the same therapist every time. I was first given a comprehensive evaluation. It was explained to me that although I was recovering from spinal fusion, my entire body would be treated. I have experienced treatment on my scar tissue, the use of essential oils, and laser therapy as well as variations on acupuncture techniques. This, in combination with very traditional weights, pulleys, tension bands. After little more than 3 weeks I feel like a new person. I have suffered from scoliosis my entire life and my therapist Laine has me almost aligned for the first time in my life! My neck and shoulders feel great and I feel my range of motion, returning rapidly. I am so grateful to have discovered this hidden gem! If you ever find yourself in need of this type of service, do yourself a favor and RUN to Ocean Physical Therapy!!

Fantastic experience: I have been receiving therapy at Ocean Therapy for a couple of years. I have ongoing back, neck and gut issues, and they have helped me tremendously. When I started going there, I could barely stand, it hurt too much. Over time, they have worked with me to "peel back the onion" ~ the layers of organs, muscle, tendons (and fat) that got out of synch. They recently moved to Wilton Manor, and the new offices are really nice. I had abdominal surgery in Feb, and am receiving great assistance with working my core back up to strength. The exercises are great, with a lot of attention to detail. Because I'm hypermobile, I tend to compensate and not do all I can do, so I appreciate the close attention. I continue to have a great experience at Ocean Therapy. I go in a relaxing room with music, and receive cranio-sacral and vascular (gut) massage /healing touch. I've gotten progressively better, and have been able to cut back on my appts. The staff is very warm, kind and friendly. They work on / with a variety of conditions, including people with severe brain damage and muscular dystrophy. I feel fortunate that my issues are comparatively minor. There are not many PT clinics like this one -- it's not just about exercising, but getting your body ready to have the exercises make that much more of a difference. I'm grateful that I have this service available to me.

Fantastic experience: I've got a torn rotator cuff and I was so blessed to have found Julietta and Ocean Therapy. What loving people! I contrast the kind of therapy I'm getting there with therapy a friend is getting elsewhere. It's night and day. Julietta understands the whole body and is helping me retrain my brain to fire the right way. She is very hands on and I believe her healing touch IS part of the therapy. I also think the laser treatments are deeply healing. Mary at the front desk in helpful in many ways and I always have a delightful experience. I travel almost an hour to get there and for me that means something!

Fantastic experience: Julietta Wenzel is the most caring and professional physical therapist I know. I was in a terrible car accident back in January of 2015 and could barely walk. I was diagnosed with 3 herniated disks and occipital neuralgia. The first physical therapist that I went to, did nothing but aggravate my pain. Most of my hour long appointments were spent putting ice and heat on the injured area. I can do that at home and do not need to go to them for that. I had no hope and did not believe in physical therapy until I went to Julietta. She never wasted a minute on things that I could do at home. Her therapy techniques were effective. I would never be back to normal without Julietta’s help. Her knowledge and techniques gave me a second chance in life and today I live my life pain free. Mary, who is the office manager, is wonderful and is always willing to help. I could not thank Julietta and her staff enough for everything they have done for me.

Fantastic experience: The pain was so agonizing on Day 9 of my Sciatica that I literally crawled into Body & Soul on hands and knees begging for relief. An hour or so later, I WALKED out upright feeling virtually no pain! And this morning, less than 24 hours after my treatment, I could dance if I wanted to! Physical therapist Julietta Wenzel is gentle, caring and holistic in her approach. Truthfully, I was a little skeptical of the electrical pulsing, laser and other treatments she performed, but I'm now definitely a believer. Fantastic experience: Body & Soul PT is a place of magical healing, that's for certain. I've received treatment for my neck and back after a rear-end car accident and my son's hip issues have been treated as well. I've also learned so much about what I can do at home using their instructional videos and blogs. They were amazing during COVID when they put out free videos for those of us at home needing a little PT. Plus, Julietta has a special, caring touch and bedside manner that you'd be hard pressed to find in a mainstream PT office. If you need PT, this is 100% the way to go. Private, focused, beautiful experience. She serves a good cuppa coffee too. :)

Fantastic experience: My experience at Ocean Therapy was awesome. I had been out of work for a week, visited the ER. Nothing was helping... I have chronic lower back pain from a car accident I was in about 15 years ago. Every once in awhile it flares up over anything. This was the worst I can remember. Unable to literally just stand. My boss sent me to Ocean Therapy. I literally walked out in less pain than I walked in and the guy that helped me showed me exercises to continue at home. It’s like magic. I felt better instantly and the next day I was back at work. Taking it easy of course, but every time I do the stretches I was shown the pain is instantly relieved! Super nice guy that made me feel like an old friend. Very comfortable setting. Even being in the pain I was in. Very highly recommend this place!!

Fantastic experience: Ocean therapy is the premiere physical therapy experience in Fort Lauderdale! Being a chiropractor it is difficult to pick a physical therapist. Even before becoming a physician I had several bad experiences with physical therapy. I felt like one of the crowd they would just strap me to machines that did nothing and wouldn't treat me as an individual. That all changed when I met Julietta and Ivan. Fantastic experience: Someone told me of how her horrendous hip pain almost had her go into surgery, but has been able to stop it since going to see Ivan. I’ve had knots in my neck and shoulder blade all my life that causes chronic headaches to migraines. I take muscle relaxers, ibuprofen, pain killers, lay on a tennis ball, heating pad, go to massage therapist and even a physical therapist who taught me to stretch properly. Twenty years of this and the past few days its been at its worst. One that would not go away. Non stop pain in the middle of my back and nothing would touch it. I came in and it took Ivan 15 freaking minutes. 15 minutes to stop the pain. I called my mother and I’m flying her down to have them help her chronic migraines. I set the appointments up and all for her. They are the real deal. Thank you!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Ocean Therapy Center as my last resource to a shoulder injury. I had seen a couple doctors and their verdict at the end of each visit was cortisone or surgery. After months of debilitating pain, I figured I would get cortisone. The cortisone was a patch to my pain and within a few months it had worn off and the excruciating pain came back, stronger than ever. As an athlete my whole life I had never encountered such issue that would prevent me from doing all the sports I loved to do, including weight lifting. Julieta attended me in 2 sessions and the pain was gone. It was almost scary because I thought of it as a placebo effect, yet the pain never came back. Now, a year since my first appointment, I have lost all the weight I had gained due to missing gym hours, the pain never came back and am now more explosive and stronger than I ever was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Ocean Therapy, you gave me my life back!

I am really happy to say they helped eliminate the pain and they showed me ways to keep it from coming back. As a child I was really into extreme sports, so some past injuries are catching up with me. I am really happy to know that I have a place to go when something hurts...... Fantastic experience: I went to them because I had trigger fingers on both hands and including a thumb. I had injections multiple times and never found permanent relief and added to that was the intense pain of the injection I was about to go in for surgery on both hands but figured I would try to see if anyone had a non-surgical approach to the condition. I was referred to them and in all honesty I went to them expecting no positive result. In fact, each time I was there I laughed to myself and considered myself to be wasting my time. What can I say…. Much to my surprise I am pretty much problem free (NO SURGERY NEEDED) on both hands and that included my thumb. I will for sure go them to continue and I would recommend them to anyone. FIVE STAR ALL THE WAY.

After a neck surgery and 2 back surgeries I had a few challenges. After the first treatment I already felt better. After additional treatments I have had so much relief that I now just go for wellness checkups. They have helped me to function at a normal level for me. Fantastic experience: The BEST for my 2 year old son. My son was diagnosed with Torticollis and was about to go through surgery when someone recommended I try therapy first (even though the doctor told me I'd be wasting my money and 99% of the time it doesn't work.) HA! It was NOT a waste of money and I saved my baby an intense surgery in his neck! (The physical therapy needed after a surgery like that is enough to make you want to try PT beforehand.) Well, Julietta, at Ocean Therapy, ended up figuring out after getting her hands on him one time that it's actually his spine that was curved and that is why he was constantly looking/leaning his head to the left. After 2-3 sessions my son was CURED and it also helped his breathing tremendously. Apparently the reason he was breathing so heavy was because his diaphragm was being pressed on by his twisted spine's pressure on the other organs. I can't tell you how happy I am; scratch that, GRATEFUL I AM for what Julietta did for my son. I will recommend them to anyone I know for torticollis. I cannot believe I almost put my baby through such an intense surgery when less that $600 cured him immediately. After seeing how she helped my son, I started going to Julietta, too, after many surgeries on my Kidney. She has helped my alignment significantly and has helped with all of the scar tissue damage. My aches and pains are GONE. At this point I just go to her every month to check in and make sure I'm aligned and healthy, but I cannot believe how she has healed me so quickly and easily.

Negative experience: After reading the glowing reviews of Ocean Therapy Center, I am truly sorry to have to write a negative reviews but after having microcurrent point stimulation therapy with Julietta several years ago, I am still suffering with pain in my right thigh which I felt while she was working with this device on my back. I never had a problem before with my leg/thigh. After the session with Julietta I experienced severe cramping in both legs. Therapists take classes and work on people without really knowing what they're doing. Unfortunately I've had to learn the hard way to be very careful who I go to for therapy. I spoke to an acupuncturist who told me that MPS treatment will cause cramping if the muscles are tight. MPS is not acupuncture which I've had and it always helped me. I wouldn't recommend this type of therapy to anyone. It's been years now and my right thigh is still painful. Be careful with this type of therapy. It can help but it also can harm.

Fantastic experience: Two years ago Julietta at Body & Soul, PT, cured the pain in my shoulder that I experienced for years. The pain has never come back. Recently I went back for a pain in my thigh that nearly crippled me. It was a sporadic muscle pain that left me hunched over every time it happened. Needless to say something was out of balance. I am thrilled to report it is totally under control with only an occasional ache, but again pain free and my body is in balance. I am too old to want anyone to know how old, but I'm impressed their therapy works on someone my age. Body & Soul-PT has me tuned up.

Fantastic experience: I had an ugly bruise under my eye and a wedding to attend two days later. I went to Ivan and he treated the bruise with two different treatments (MPS Micro-current Point Stimulation and Deep Tissue Laser). Neither was painful (although the names sound scary!) and the bruise disappeared the next day. He also gave me some strips to take home with me and apply to my bruise. The process was quick, painless and a lifesaver. Ivan and the crew at Ocean Therapy Center are great and I highly recommend them!

I went to Julietta for a pinch in my neck on my left side and I could barely move my neck, which has happened to me on and off forever and no one has seemed to relieve or help it or they wanted me to do shots. She not only helped in just one session to relieve it but she put parts of my body back into balance that correlated to my pinch and I saw the results instantly! I also have a scar that has had numbness and puffiness for 5 years and it hasn't gone away. After one treatment I felt the difference and started to feel the area and not the numbness and the puffiness went down. As I continue to have Julietta treat my scar and my body everything keeps getting better and better and Im pinch free!!. She truly heals you from the inside out and also mentally I have healed as well through her healing techniques which is amazing. Mary at front desk is the best kind and helpful, stacha is very patient and encouraging, but jullietta has been magic for me, i slowly walked in 3 months ago bad back issues, messed up foot and torn knee problems , with in 2 visits i was seeing huge results!! Improving my posture went hand in hand with strengthening my arm and increasing my range of motion. Micro-current Point Stimulation and Laser helped my body to heal itself. Fantastic experience: Julietta is absolutely amazing!! She scans your body with innovative techniques to find out exactly what issue is causing your pain. Sometimes I have a pain in my hand that actually has an origin in my knee - weird huh?? But Julietta finds the issue, corrects it and I walk away pain free.
