Galt Ocean Rehab Center

Fantastic experience: My daughter spend a couple of months at Galt rehab. The change in her has been incredible. I was really impressed by the fact that Galt rehab would take ownership of the patients care and take care of minor health incidents like prescribing antibiotics in house for a cold. My daughter had been to a different rehab center and she was continuously sent to the ER for minor issues. I was also very impressed with her therapist Monica as she was always available to answer questions and support not just the patient but also the family. Thank you Galt rehab family!!

Fantastic experience: My experience with galt was amazing, they helped me with my anxiety and struggles with mental health/ addiction. they always made me feel safe and like i was welcomed, i recommend galt to anyone struggling with addiction and mental health

Fantastic experience: The Galt Team made me feel at home the second I arrived. They are caring and do what ever they need todo to make you feel loved. I will always for ever be grateful for what God is doing in this facility that gave me my life back.

Negative experience: After being discharged, the staff sent really defamatory letters to the court handling my case. This was one week after they sent glowing compliments on my recovery so far. If a patient falters, picking that person up and helping them seems the correct thing for a rehab facility to do. Instead, they proceeded through the day, (billing purposes), and kicked out an addict of over 40 years. Did they think sobriety would happen overnight? Was it necessary to make life more difficult? According to galt, yes.

Negative experience: Awful. I dont ever want to come back here again. Save yourself some time and forget this place even exists.

Fantastic experience: My daughter arrived at Galt at the end of August and of course I was very nervous because the last time she was at a rehab she left AMA. She did a complete turn around ,She learned how to deal with the trauma she had been through.The therapist that was assigned to her (Steve) made sure I was informed about her progress. He really cares about the clients.My daughter ended up staying there about four and a half months .and she now six months clean Thank you Galt

Fantastic experience: Galt Ocean was very helpful in assisting me in my recovery I learned a lot about myself and others in the groups that were provided. The staff was amazing I want to express a special thank you to Jessi the Case Manager here for providing not just help with my personal issues but also being that lending ear when things were rough, thank you to Danielle who was there to help me see things in a different perspective. A special shout out to Sherelle the Resident tech she was always so helpful and understanding. My time here is up and I'm nervous and excited to start my next chapter in life. It will be a bitter/ sweet departure but I will take all the help and advice that was giving.

Fantastic experience: Galt Ocean Rehab is awesome rehab center. this is the place to improve yourself an a person physically mentally and spiritually. Jesse is the best at what she do and my therapist has helped me to address many trauma issues from past and present. My therapist carmisa improve my way of thinking like a female professor X without the wheel chair or bald head. All jokes aside the people at Galt really do care and are willing to go through great lengths to help you especially if you desire to help yourself. This positive attitude is displayed by cheryl ,Danny, jutta, Mike, natalie and the whole Galt ocean staff. Thank you all for sharing recovery is the the best way to live

Fantastic experience: Was nervous to leave my family,kids & hometown. But was such a positive life changing experience that I didn’t want to leave. With the help of the staff and community, I was able to build a family there and learn to be at peace with myself. Would highly recommend to anyone struggling with addiction.

Being here gave me the tools I needed to be able to function in everyday society, it also gave me a chance to slow down and realize what's truly important in life. Fantastic experience: Galt ocean rehab saved my life. I am 26 and I knew that my insurance was going to run out by May. I went to Galt knowing I had that much time left. They worked with me from the very beginning. Although sometimes the clients didn’t see eye to eye (as with every rehab) we all focused on our common goal which was to stay clean and keep each other from ripping each others heads off. Every tech/counselor/administrator I met made me feel welcomed. Super big shout out to Stephen Montgomery, my counselor. Charisma Nichols, couples counselor, Jessie Goldfinger, the case manager. Mike Valvano the housing director, Danielle the CFO. Any and all friends I’ve met there. Everyone made an impact on my life and I’d recommend anyone to go there. Top notch place. Nothing like it is up north.

Fantastic experience: Galt Ocean saved my life. I’m from Pennsylvania and this was my first time I left the state to go to treatment. I was nervous and honestly was planning to leave treatment after 30 days and go back home. I ended up staying a little over 5 months and still living in Florida in halfway. Galt Ocean gave me the tools I needed to help me stay sober and showed me and all the other clients that they care for each and every one of the us. I came in to Galt ocean beat and broken and left a new, happy and confident woman. My therapist, Steve, helped me conquer my past trauma and I couldn’t thank him enough. My case manager, Jessie, who also did some of the groups, helped me do things I didn’t want to do and her groups were always my favorite and were always helpful to me. The whole staff at galt ocean are amazing and I cannot thank them enough for helping me save my own life.

Fantastic experience: Judging from my past experiences Galt Ocean Recovery is by far the most caring and supportive facility that specializes in client care. They have without a doubt the best clinical team.

Fantastic experience: Galt has done a lot for me, I'll never be able to repay them enough. They have scholarshipped many people including my best friend and flew her in from Georgia when she did not have insurance, they didn't make a penny off of her. They have scholarshipped me for 3 months, they didn't make any money off of me either. It's not Galt or any other treatment center to pay or bribe clients to come to their facility, that's what marketers do. Here at Galt many of us are very close with the owner of this treatment center, when and where do you ever see that with other treatment centers! I know none that I've ever been to.

Fantastic experience: I've transferred over to Galt from a different treatment facility for IOP. And although my former treatment facility is a highly recommended and regarded program in the South FL recovery community, and potentially in the nation, they did not help me like Galt. Galt has a different philosophy than your typical treatment facility, and probably most in South FL. Its designed to help the struggling addict/alcoholic and focus on establishing a solid foundation that so many of us struggle with greatly in early recovery. The staff are professional and caring, I've never seen a group of collaborative individuals dedicated to the needs of their clients, while maintaining solid focus on their recovery and treating them accordingly. Galt is a welcoming change in the industry standards I've been so used to for the past year and a half. I've finally found a home and a place I can depend on for anything, ever. Hats off to Galt Ocean Rehab, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have been to multiple different treatment centers from PA all the way to CA. I have really enjoyed my stay at Galt Ocean so far. The groups are very beneficial as far as helping me with my recovery and such.... Also, they offer different types of groups like art therapy, poetry, meditation. Acupuncture and chiropractor are also available. Food, cigarettes and other amenities are also available to us clients. The clinical staff here is amazing. I would definitely recommend Galt Ocean Rehab Center to my friends and loved ones!

Fantastic experience: I've been struggling with addiction for many years and have been to a few other treatments by far but Galt Ocean is by far the best experience I have ever had. Thanks to the facility's caring staff and supportive clinical team I managed to be able to not only stay sober, but stay happy. I am very grateful for have had the chance to come to this rehab. It saved my life. My word of advice to anyone looking for a treatment for yourself or loved one, Galt Ocean is by far the best. I highly recommend and hope you choose this place to get clean.
