I was extremely pleased with my experience at Vista Physical Therapy. Kathryn and Morgan were incredibly helpful and welcoming. I had received a second steroid shot in my back and was referred to them by Legacy ER. From the moment I arrived for my first session at the beginning of May, I felt their compassion and friendliness. They gave me an evaluation and an estimated timeframe for how long I would need to be in physical therapy. They also printed out some exercises for me to do. I attended every Tuesday and Thursday for almost a month and enjoyed every visit. Kathryn was great at explaining the exercises and how they were helping to strengthen my lower back. I'm very grateful to have such a professional and friendly physical therapy team nearby if I ever need them again.
The care I received was satisfactory, but the fees were very expensive, especially if you have to pay your deductible. They usually charge you a lower amount first, then send a much higher bill to your insurance, leaving you to pay the difference. It seems like a strategy they have come up with. It would be cheaper to pay them directly without insurance. I suggest you limit the number of visits, and get the list of therapeutic exercises from them to do at home. I sent an email as suggested, but I haven't gotten a response yet.
I had a great experience with physical therapy at Vista, especially with Matt's help in my recovery. However, the reception and billing services have been very poor. I have been trying to get a refund for a portion of my appointment fees since I found out I had secondary insurance. Since the departure of their amazing receptionist, they have gone through 7 different receptionists in the past 6 months and 3 in the last 3 months. Amber, one of the new receptionists, told me that no one had filed the request for a refund. After months of refusal from Vista, I was finally able to get the request to back charge the appointments to my secondary insurance pushed through to billing. I was told that Vista had been paid by the insurance and I would get a check in 3 weeks. It has now been 4 weeks and I still haven't received a refund. I have been calling almost every day since the 9th and no one has returned my calls. When I called this morning, I was told that someone named Nancy would be calling me at some point today to update me on the billing information they received on the 9th of January. I'm so exhausted from being thrown around and told things that never happen. Vista, please stop firing or changing receptionists every month and help me get my refund.

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience and outcome for this being my second hip replacemet surgery. All staff members and the facility are pleasant and professional. My therapist Kailey had me walking out in 4 to 5 weeks with no pain and no cane and very little stiffness which will be taken care of with home exercise packet that she provided.

Fantastic experience: If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Kailey was my therapist. She’s very knowledgeable, patient, professional, attentive to her patients, and great with people. She has gotten me through a hard recovery on a complete ACL and double meniscus tear. She took me from crutches to walking again! Kara was a rockstar in handling workers comp. As it was my first time ever dealing with it, I was extremely lost and having a hard time getting ahold of anyone on the phone. Time and time again she got through to them. All in all my experience here has been nothing but wonderful. All of the staff are friendly and good people. I would definitely suggest anyone and everyone to Vista Physical Therapy in Frisco!

Fantastic experience: I had wrist pain that just wouldn’t get better. I wasn’t able to work out or lift anymore. I went to see Ericka K., a physical therapist, and after a one hour screen/ assessment she was able to give me a program that completely resolved my wrist pain. My pain improved after 1 week and I was back to lifting in 2 weeks. I’m really impressed with the entire screen and assessment process. The therapist was experienced, gave me one on one care, and provided really great and effective education that helped me reach my goals, resolve my pain, and return to my work and exercise without limitations.

Fantastic experience: Crazy story but my Mother and I both broke our ankle! Both of our doctors required therapy fortunately we were able to use Vista Physical Therapy and they arranged appointments for the same time and day! Our therapist are wonderful and work with us at our speed and level of mobility. The receptionist is so sweet and easy to deal with and it's nice to walk in and the staff knows your name. I saw my doctor today and he asked how my therapy was going and I raved about the girls. He said he could tell we were working hard.

Negative experience: My experience with this business was not very good. I decided to leave this m therapist, who was the owner, because he became angry with me for asking if I was doing the exercises properly. He had been working with me for a bit until other patients walked in. He told me to do some exercises on my own off to the side without properly taking the time to show me the details or giving me pictures as he tried to juggle those multiple other patients who had just arrived. At one point, it was a 3 or 4 patients to one therapist. When I asked for help and suggested he post the exercises on the wall in the future, he became enraged and shamed me in front of his other clients. I seriously wonder the stability of the owner-therapist and found it a very unprofessional experience. Fortunately, shortly after, I found a new therapist who works only 1 on 1. She also provides a folder packet and prints out exercises. I think there is also the capability to access the exercises online. My new therapist has a PhD and was more knowledgeable about my needs. It became obvious that the indignation of the Vista Therapist was also routed in lack of knowledge of my particular injury...Needless to say, I no longer have to put up with Vista Therapy and shameful lack of dignity and compassion towards patients.

Negative experience: I had a great experience here when it comes to actual physical therapy. I had Matt and he was super helpful in my recovery! Unfortunately reception and billing is where this location has really missed the mark. I have been trying to get a refund for a portion of my appointment fees after finding out I had secondary insurance. I want to add that after letting their awesome receptionist of years go, they have had at least 7 different receptionists in the past 6th months. In the past 3 they have already gone through 3 and are currently training another. They told me they would file it about 4 separate times between the months of July-September and in October I was finally told by on the the new receptionists, Amber I believe, that no one ever did. Over the next two months after initial refusal from Vista we finally got my request to back charge the appointments to my secondary insurance pushed through to billing. Amber was convinced that they would say no but low and behold I was supposed to be refunded over $200. How this would work per Amber and the central billing department is that insurance would send the payment to vista and then vista's central billing would be mailing me a check. On the 13th of December as far as I was told that Vista had been paid by insurance and I would get a check in 3 weeks maximum. Well it has been four and I don't have an update or a refund. I called on Jan 8th and was told I would be called back and updated on the 9th but no one has reached out. I have been calling almost everyday since the 9th and got voicemail everytime until yesterday and and have even left voicemails that were never returned. I called this morning and after an 8 minute hold I was told someone named Nancy would be calling me at some point today to let me know the update from billing that they received on the 9th of Jan that should be visable to anyone who has access to my file. I was told I couldn't have a contact number for Nancy and just to wait. I have been waiting 6 months to get this resolved and I am so frustrated and burned out. I am so tired of getting thrown around between receptionists and told things will happen when they never do. Vista, stop firing or switching up your awesome receptionists every month and please have literally anyone help me get my refund.
Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful! I am not one to leave reviews but wanted to share how helpful and welcoming Kathryn and Morgan were during my visits. I was referred by Legacy ER after getting a second steroid shot in my back within 2 weeks. I attended my first session at 7am beginning of May and immediately felt compassion and friendliness from Vista Physical Therapy. They gave me an evaluation, an estimated timeframe I would be in PT, and printed workouts. I attended every Tuesday and Thursday for almost a month and enjoyed every visit! Kathryn explained my workouts and how it was strengthening my lower back. She was so great to work with! I hope I don't have any issues again soon but happy to know if I do that I have a professional and friendly PT nearby that I reach out to!

Fantastic experience: Was referred for treatment of recurrent pain with old bilateral ankle injuries and plantars fasciitis. After several month’s treatment and practical home exercises, I was discharged today being able to walk normally. My therapist was LeJoy. He was great to work with - knowledgeable, professional and encouraging. Plus he has a great sense of humor which made therapy much more enjoyable! I definitely recommend Vista PT. It has a nice atmosphere conducive to getting better.
