Positive experience: The therapist was really good and helped my wife to recover but having issues with the billing where they overcharged my card without reconciling and now I have to go through their billing department to get refund.

Fantastic experience: David is my therapist and he always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. He understands my struggles and strengths and very understanding if I'm hurting really bad. Carries on great conversations as well. I would recommend him over and over again to anyone.

Fantastic experience: First of all Stephanie is amazing in the front office absolutely about her business of helping patients and making things clear and understandable. Ariel is an amazing occupational therapist she's very kind sweeti gentle but drives you to be better and a great listener and communicator. And lastly but not least David is an amazing physical therapist very understanding and thoughtful in his approach to a person's individual therapy and their needs and I'm really thankful for these three humans and helping me get better. Edge physical therapy Frisco should be your first choice!

Fantastic experience: I'm thrilled to share my incredible experience with Annie, a talented physical therapist who helped me overcome chronic Hamstring pain that had been plaguing me for far too long. Despite spending $500 on chiropractors and Airrosti treatments with little relief, Annie's expertise and personalized approach finally brought me the comfort and freedom I had been seeking. In just a few sessions, Annie identified the root causes of my pain and developed a targeted treatment plan that addressed my specific needs. Her guidance empowered me to take control of my recovery. So far I have spent 7-10k dollars for low back pain since past 2 years but still it never got resolved. The pain comes for prolonged sitting more than 1hr, 1hr drive and I won't be able to do stand for longer durations. I'm currently undergoing rehabilitation for low back pain with Annie, and I'm excited to see the results! So far done with 6 sessions and I feel little better compared to previous pain. I can't wait to get fit and play cricket sport which I love most. If you're struggling with low back pain, I highly recommend seeking Annie's expertise. She's a compassionate and knowledgeable physical therapist who will help you every step of the way.

Fantastic experience: This group of healthcare workers *really* work as a team — frpm the moment you walk in the door and are greeted in reception. And, although I appreciate the clean and friendly environment, resolving my passion issues was the true test. Joel really came through for me, but I could see others were also happy with their experiences. (Special shout out to Khrista - she was awesome!)

Fantastic experience: I came in for vestibular therapy and worked with Dr. Joel Varghese for several weeks. I’ve been suffering from severe motion sickness and dizziness during certain activities/travel and was referred by my ENT provider. Joel not only listened to my symptoms, concerns, and questions but gave me the confidence and tools to improve my condition and quality of life. For a condition that can be subjective based on how ill you may feel, I’ve learned exercises that specifically work for me to help manage symptoms. Over the course of our therapy sessions, Joel tailored the exercises to see what worked and didn’t - that way we could make the most of our sessions together. Some weeks had easier activities starting off but over time the difficulty increased to challenge my condition. While this is a condition that still exists for me, I’ve walked away feeling more confident in how I can handle the symptoms when they arise and the anxiety they may induce. It will be a continuous journey, but I also have the tools and support of the therapy team to move forward. Outside of therapy exercises, Joel and his team provided a welcoming and fun experience. They were kind, patient, and I enjoyed my time working with everyone. While I hope to not be a frequent patient from ailments, I know I feel comfortable with them and would choose them again should the need arise. I’m truly thankful for Joel, Stephannie, Christa, and Connor for their care and support!

Fantastic experience: I came in after dislocating my arm while rock climbing, and honestly I’m so glad I came to this clinic. I have had the most wonderful experience doing physical therapy here! Fantastic experience: I’d recommend this place for anyone who needs PT. They (Frisco location) treated me for Plantar Fasciitis and Heel Spur. I noticed a difference with my foot pain just after 2-3 visits. The staff are amazing!! They made sure I was being cared for at all times while doing my exercises. The place is big, clean, and has plenty of space to do your exercises.

Fantastic experience: I have had 5 joint surgeries in 4 years (athletic injuries & wear & tear) & my wife had elbow surgery - and we wouldn’t go to any other PT center! We have seen probably every therapist that has worked there in the last five years and all of them have been amazing! Great bedside manner, great anatomy knowledge, great education, etc. They also have a ton of equipment! I’ve actually heard from some of their employees that this location has more equipment than any other therapist office they’ve worked in. Positive experience: The service is fantastic and staff are friendly but the billing portion is exhausting. The billing is handled by Methodist McKinney hospital. Plus this local office can’t expedite or escalate billing requests as they do not have direct communication with them (their words). It takes a long time to receive billing records as they only do them “once a month”. This needs to be much quicker. If I ever need physical therapy I will go elsewhere because of this. Fantastic experience: Joel, Stephannie, Gay, Nico & Mackenzie are complete rockstars! I started my PT journey (and I mean journey!) in Aug 2022. I finished in May 2023. They seriously became family! They are such an incredible team and serious professionals. Also, a life changing team! Stephannie went above and beyond handling my insurance (twice & during the holidays) and it was no easy feat. She is the first face you see when coming in and you can't help but smile when you see her. I had double achilles surgeries and I am not sure I would be where I am today if it weren't for them. Joel took amazing care of me. I can not say enough great things about this facility. Their equipment is top notch! You will not be disappointed. I already miss going. I am sure they don't hear that often. :)

Fantastic experience: Shane Hernandez and the team at Edge Therapy are professional in every way. Not only did they provide quality PT service, adapting my program as I improved each week but they were friendly, courteous and helpful. Shane worked with me from the beginning to understand my issues and concerns and was a true partner in my rehabilition. All of the PT Assistants are knowledgeable and are concerned with the improvement of each patient. They work as a team, so if my PT Assistant was busy and I was ready to move to the next exercise, I could turn to any one of them for guidance and direction. The team is encouraging without forcing the patient to do anything with which they are not comfortable. On days when I didn't feel like going, knowing I would be seeing the wonderful team there made it much easier. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and accomodating when scheduling (or rescheduling) appointments. When I had completed my program, Shane made sure I had exercises to continue my improvement. Special thanks to Dane for all of his help. And thanks to everyone at Edge for making my PT experience a positive one.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, variety of equipment, personalized coaching--highly recommend! The team at EDGE PT does a great job at making arduous PT exercises fun! They effectively tailored my workout to help me reach the development milestone I needed in a timely manner. I came in for PT post-ACL surgery and they had me back to full extension, full bend, and built up quad strength in no time. They make the road to recovery look bright!

Fantastic experience: I came to Edge for my neck and back. It has been about 2 weeks now and I definitely see noticeable improvement. I have been doing stretches that help my lower back and exercises that help my neck as well. I'm glad the team is always there to help me if I'm not doing an exercise correctly or to encourage me if I am doing it right! Fantastic experience: The people, the therapists and therapy assistants were sensitive to my needs. The receptionist was always warm and welcoming. It was as though I was coming to spend time with friends. They treated me with care and compassion. They are great teachers and have changed my perspective on posture and it's importance. Simple suggestions such as changing from a shoulder bag to a cross body bag has made a significant impact on my comfort. If I require physical therapy again, I will definitely be back at Edge!

Fantastic experience: I am not big on PT I have never had good experience with PT facilities. I have always bounced back quickly but this time I had a total knee replacement and was not so sure of getting myself back on my feet alone. My Dr. Recommend Edge Physical Therapist and I have to tell you it is wonderful. There staff helpful, very knowledgable and truly concerned with helping people get back on track. I am about to have my second knee replacement and I can honestly say I don't think I would be able to do it without knowing that the Edge PT being there for me! I highly recommend this team.

Fantastic experience: I herniated two disks in my spine and was in a lot of pain with Sciatica. After one week of injuring my back, my doctor recommended I start physical therapy. I found Edge Therapy online, it was only 10 minutes from my house so I decided to give it a try. I was scheduled with Gaye and she is great! Gaye not only didn't pressure me in doing too much, but I felt like she knew exactly how much I could do without me telling her. Gaye's assistant Daniel was very friendly and helpful with exercises as well. Everytime I received a massage from Gaye, I felt like it was much needed pain-relief and pressure relief. I couldn't do much at first but after 4 weeks I have to say I am almost back to my 100 percent. Gaye was very sympathetic to my pain and I really felt better after each appointment more and more. I unfortunately had to bring my toddler son to therapy couple of times but they thankfully have a play room where my son could watch videos and play! Not only that but the staff was very friendly and playful with him when I was busy doing an exercise or getting a massage:)

Fantastic experience: I took my mother to Edge in Frisco and the team lead by Joel has not only helped her regain her strength and mobility but has also instilled in her a newfound sense of hope and empowerment. The positive and encouraging atmosphere played a crucial role in my mother's recovery. Joel, Nico, and McKenzie created a nurturing space where she felt motivated to push herself beyond her limits, resulting in remarkable progress. My mom broke hip and was using a walker when we started the therapy. She couldn't do almost any task independantly. At the end of our therapy she was walking with a cane. Fantastic experience: I had a very bad lower back pain due muscle spasm. My mobility was severely restricted. After doing just 2 physical therapy sessions with Joel my pain reduced significantly and gained back my mobility. The cupping that Joel does is amazing. I could feel the difference after those cupping and physical therapy sessions.

Fantastic experience: I cannot rave enough about my experience at Edge Physical Therapy center in Frisco! I had total knee replacement about 18 months ago and had been plagued with recurring discomfort and pain. After going to several other therapy facilities, my doctor suggested I see Joel! My therapist, Joel Varghese, was conscience, warm and friendly! He is skilled in some of more progressive and cutting edge therapy techniques which led to enhanced my healing and, essentially, pain free functioning. The front office coordinator , Stephannie, and the PTAs were friendly and helpful at each of my visits! If you’re looking for a top notch therapist go see Joel!

Fantastic experience: My 75 year old father was dealing with balance issues and severe muscle weakness post a long hospitalization. Joel and his team did a phenomenal job of helping him regain his strength and balance within a month's time. He came in with a walker and now has been able to ditch the walker. In turn this has helped his mental well being and happiness because he was able to regain his physical independence. They are a fantastic caring team and I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough great things about Edge PT! I have been to PT a few times and Joel is the very best therapist I have ever encountered!! I went in with stiff neck muscles causing migraines. Joel immediately identified the problem and developed a plan. With only 5 visits, I went from minimal range of motion to normal range of motion!! Fantastic experience: I fractured my fibula at the ankle. Walking was painful. The EDGE PT team made me work hard to maximize my recovery, and I'm glad they did. The fracture healed quickly and I was able to regain strength and stability to the ankle so I could get back to my active lifestyle. Fantastic experience: Amazing results after almost 3 long years of having dizziness everyday, every time I changed positions from sitting, laying, or standing - I have been without it for a week now since my last treatment which was only the second time I went there. Fantastic experience: I asked my orthopedic surgeon to send me to Edge for my rotator cuff PT because of the great treatment I received 4 years ago when I injured my other rotator cuff. Joel, Xavier and Justin were great! After just 4 weeks of PT, I was at what my doctor described as 3+ months in terms of range of motion and strength. Edge's appointment scheduling was very flexible allowing me to fit my PT into my work and personal schedule with no interruptions. Their new facilities are great - clean and not crowded. Edge in Frisco will continue to be my first choice for PT in the future!

Fantastic experience: Had a very great experience with Joel and his team. I had chronic pain for over 10 years and I was a bit skeptical about physical therapy due to my past experience. Most PT I met with was just teaching me to do self-care/stretching and I have been doing that before meeting them. Joel was very understanding and we did the dry needling and shockwave therapy. OMG the shockwave therapy was a life changer as it really helped reduce my chronic pain. Joel was also very patient, he listened to me vent about my job for like three months (sorry Joel) haha. I learnt a lot about human body from him. The office setting was very nice, it looked more like a fitness center than a clinic. Strongly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Special thanks to my girlfriend who recommended me to talk to Physical Therapist Joel for my knee injury. Joel was very friendly and referred me to non-surgical doctor for second knee surgery opinions. Joel and his team were able to help me strengthen and stabilize the knee and get back to walking and jogging normal, I’m even considering returning to play soccer again. Fantastic experience: Edge Therapy Frisco, more specifically Joel and his dedicated team, got me back into shape in just a few months! For context, I’m 19 and underwent a surgery near my abdomen. Because of it, I was in immense pain all over my back and abdomen. Fortunately, some relatives recommended me to this wonderful facility. Joel’s team guided me patiently through a variety of exercises, massaged my weak and tense muscles with quality equipment, and provided me the best hospitality. Joel’s at-home exercise plan was probably the most beneficial, as I could feel my abdominal muscles reforming gradually everyday. Instead of feeling like a hassle, their team’s positive attitudes and kindness motivated me to put my best foot forward to get my body back in shape. Now that I’m discharged from PT, I can’t thank this facility enough for how fast my recovery has been. I can finally embrace my college and career goals without having to look back. Fantastic experience: I had a painful shoulder impingement at age 74. It was very painful and I had limited motion. Joel was my therapist and he gave me simple but helpful exercises and within a month my shoulder and arm feel back to 100%. I have no pain and full range of motion. I am amazed at the results. Fantastic experience: We are so pleased with the improvement our 15 year old daughter has made after 6 months of working with Joel and the team at Edge. The brachial plexus injury she sustained from a bad ATV accident temporarily paralyzed both her arms, but with physical therapy right from the start she has been able to regain most of her athletic (pre-accident) strength and mobility week by week. Fantastic experience: This is my third time at this center since last 3 years and this is a very spacious, clean, modern looking center with great equipment. The PT team and receptionist are always warm and welcoming. I had severe neck pain couple of months back and Joel my PT helped me to recover faster. Joel is very knowledgeable and took time to go over my MRI result on the first visit and put together a plan for my recovery. I felt much better in a month and continued with recommended exercises at home. During those visits for neck pain recovery, unfortunately I started to develop serious problems with my right knee for which I had surgery previously. My knee was very tight and I had to use crutches for walking around. My surgeon thought that I needed another follow up surgery. I honestly cannot thank Joel enough for his kind gesture and talking to me about my situation. I followed Joel's advice and got a PT order from my surgeon. I am really glad that I took his advice and now I am kind of back to normal gait. I am very confident that I will soon be able to for longer walks with Joel's guidance. Fantastic experience: What an excellent place for physical therapy! I have gone to Gaye at their location for several injuries over the years, and she always successfully fixes EVERYTHING! Broken foot, strained glute, plantar fasciitis, crick in my neck, etc. She is completely AMAZING! I have been to a couple other physical therapists when I have been out of town, and NO ONE compares to Gaye. Will always continue to go to her at Edge.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with the physical therapist at Edge for many years! Gaye was amazing at rehabilitating my knew after ACL surgery! Joel has been amazing in helping me healing my piriformis, hamstring and calf. Both therapist are extremely knowledgeable and treat each patient with care and concern! Fantastic experience: My recovery accelerated tremendously with the help of the staff at Edge. I’m about 13 weeks post op for a lower back surgery, went to Edge weekly for about a month and a half-two months and feel like I’m at about 85% back to normal as my nerves continue to heal. But the at home regime, the equipment suggestions, the workout plan and all the care and concern of everyone on staff is what really helped me throughout my healing process. Fantastic experience: The team here is awesome! Joel and his assistants helped me and kept me motivated though my treatment. I looked forward to going to my appointments especially during this covid pandemic. I felt pampered, and felt the staff was genuinely concerned with the condition I am dealing with. It is a modern clean facility with great equipment. You can watch TV, or listen to the music in the background going through your therapy session. Fantastic experience: Joel and staff very good, knowledgeable and in tune to giving you the best PT regime to get you recovered and back to resuming your activities. I’m a tennis player and Joel has been instrumental in helping me to stay in the game to strengthen & heal & to be able to continue to play and exercise. Joel listens to your issues and makes sure to plan your care around those issues to stay in the game. A very clean facility with lots of equip to help you in your rehab/recovery process. I’m grateful to Joel and his team for giving me back my quality of life.

Fantastic experience: I tore my ACL playing basketball and needed to find a physical therapist to help me with post-surgical rehab/recovery. Joel was an excellent therapist to work with. He did a great job in guiding me through the knee recovery protocol while providing a positive and professional environment. I feel very confident in my transition back to sports with the valuable advice he gave me regarding injury prevention strategies. This location is very well kept with lots of good equipment. I will gladly refer any of my family or friends who need a physical therapist to this practice.

Fantastic experience: I went to Edge Physical therapy after an injury. Michelle and Becca were simply amazing. I could not have asked for better therapists. They were very motivating and always had positive vibes. They made the exercises very simple and fun. They are extremely caring and gave me all the instructions for home exercises. Im amazed by how fast I recovered and am on the go so quickly. Even though I was happy I made great progress it was a bit sad to leave them. Fantastic experience: I had the pleasure of receiving physical therapy at Edge Physical Therapy in Frisco. Yes, I said pleasure!! My therapist was Michelle and her assistant was Becca, the two of them specifically and the whole staff collectively made it a wonderful experience. Michelle and Becca showed care and concern for my well being as I was recovering from total reverse shoulder surgery. They listened to my needs and were gentle and not at all pushy. They allowed me to set my limits while they set my goals. I have great mobility in movement, little to zero pain and I am so ecstatic about this. I’ve had a procedure on my right side and did not have the same glorious results. I credit my current surgeon, Dr. Reitman but just as importantly Michelle and Becca. Thank you for helping me go from “setback to comeback”.

Negative experience: Worse experience of my life! I'm not talking about the physical therapy part which is expectedly painful but the blatant disrespect and PURPOSEFUL injury to my arm and shoulder requiring medical attention. I truly feel that I should have sued Shane Hernandez. Amongst many occasions where he would ridicule me and cause extra pain to my shoulder, the last session I had before I left permanently remains in my memories as a horrible nightmare. All the other staff were leaving and he asked me to stay behind so he could finish up. He then proceeds to yank and twist my arm nearly out of my socket causing me to SCREAM extremely loud in pain. A few of the staff stopped as they were exiting the door to see if I needed an ambulance. I grabbed my things and left, and then went to see my orthopedic surgeon. He said my rotator cuff - which originally should have been able to be fixed with PT - would now require surgery. I am writing this review years later to note that my health has worsened and I believe many of the issues I'm having now spurred from this additional rotator cuff injury caused by Shane Hernandez. I have visited other physical therapists post-surgery from his damage and never have I experienced the same abuse that Shane Hernandez did to me. AVOID THIS PRACTICE AT ALL COSTS.

Fantastic experience: Just amazing! I went to Edge PT in Frisco after meniscus repair and ACL surgery. Gaye and Nikki both are absolutely wonderful therapist. Both are very caring with such a positive attitude. Entire staff is very friendly and make you feel comfortable right from the beginning. If I ever need PT in the future, this will be definitely my “go to” place!

Fantastic experience: You know how they say, if you love it you keep going for it.. well, in my case that was actually true with Edge Physical Therapy.. I first came to them with a ligament tear in my foot, and to be honest when my doctor suggested therapy before we went for surgery, I thought it was a joke... I mean how do you avoid surgery with physical therapy!!.. and then over the weeks as my foot started regaining its strength and the pain started subsiding, I knew I was a believer now... I loved them so much that I very soon came back to them ... this time a herniated disc, which again would have gone to surgery of it was not for these guys... 6 weeks into therapy and I cannot believe my first day I was crawling with pain.. I am very thankful to Joel and his team at the Frisco location, who don’t just know their job but they know it very well.. Thank you guys I literally owe you my new improved walk

Fantastic experience: Went in with lower back pain, worked with Matt one of the trainers and came out with little to no pain and way more flexibility. It was great.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately due to many surgeries or fortunately due to the great care I get I have been a patient of Edge Frisco for a few years. Each time Michele and Becca have been my primary contants. I have nothing but great things to say about them and the recovery from multiple surgeries. Although I did have a failed back surgery by the surgeon the plan , time spent, encouragement, and sometimes when needed a boost start they have been great. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: Michelle and Becca were awesome! I couldn't have been in better hands. They are very attentive and provide customized care--no cookie-cutter treatment here. I appreciate everything they did for me. Because of their intervention in my recovery process, I feel better and stronger and received a great report from my doc during my 6-week post op appointment--he was very pleased with my progress. If you do the work, then the plan of therapy Michelle and Becca (and the entire team) make for you, and remember to use proper form in doing so, you too will be pleased with your care and recovery as well! Fantastic experience: I have been using Edge Physical Therapy in Frisco to prepare and recover from knee surgery. I could not have made a better choice. The front office is great to work with for both insurance and scheduling. Their Therapists are the best. I was assigned to Joel and he was responsible for a great recovery. Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend The Edge for anyone considering physical therapy. Their staff is professional, friendly and will genuinely be considerate of your needs. I had just about given up hope of ever running again, due to a painful heel spur I developed over a 2 year period. Then I met w/Joel and expressed my concerns. He was optimistic I could run again and suggested I set a goal. It was mid-Sept. and I had a goal to participate in the Gary Burns fun run on Oct 28th. It seemed like a far stretch since at the time I could not even stand or hop on my right foot. Through consistent physical therapy twice per week and riding a stationary bike 3 times per week, I was able to condition and run in the fun run!! My foot feels much stronger and I am confident I will be able to participate in future runs as I continue my healing journey. I am so happy I made the investment in physical therapy for my needs.
