Negative experience: My experience was not great. Front office staff were majority of the time great. My son was diagnosed Autistic by developmental pediatrician. We were sent for ST and OT. The wait list for speech is absolutely rediculous… didn’t get into ST til over a year later! By then there was no point! The OT Naomi Rochelle Steele bullied my son who wasn’t even 2 yet into sitting at a table to eat. She would huff and puff and get annoyed because he would elope from the table. Her attitude towards me was rude and unprofessional. She never followed his care of plan which was to use a visual timer and weighted ball before eating. I stopped going for all of these reasons. Your staff needs to take classes that involve being around children. Especially children with different disabilities and different needs. And I’ve helped my child more than they have in the few months they worked with him without “playing in his food”! And the messages were just as rude! Do better! And find better employees! And find employees that know how to communicate in sign language! At the time he started OT none of them did a single sign with him! He knew over 30 words in ASL!

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been coming here since she was 2 and they have helped her so much. My daughter has Autism and EBF3 are always determined to help her with her development. I want to thank everyone who has helped her and welcomed her. I recommend this rehad facility to every child with disabilities.

Negative experience: We have been with Magnolia Park for almost 3 years. Up until now we have been happy with our child's therapy. We have missed our last 2 appointments due to scheduling. My child has had the same therapy schedule for 3 years with minimal changes. The last 2 we have missed due to lack of communication on there end. I have never missed an appointment that I haven't canceled due to their cancelation policy. This place has made me feel like a failure as a parent. I will be looking for therapy services for my kid closer to our home. We have been driving there about 2 hours up to three times a week and all of a sudden we are missing appointments without calling? I don't think so

Fantastic experience: So far I’ve only talked to people about scheduling an appointment but already both ladies (Rhonda and Tanya) impressed me greatly! They went above and beyond to help me get information i needed to know whether getting on the waiting list here was the best plan for my family. It was so refreshing to get such personalized care right from the first phone call. They really listened to my needs and did their best to help. Thank you!

Positive experience: They helped so so much! I was skeptical at first if it would actually help me, but after months of sessions I noticed I was feeling so much better in my every day life. I’m so happy I stuck with it and would do it again! Christina and her assistants were the BEST! Super caring and worried about your general wellbeing. The only reason the review isn’t 5 stars is because the front check in desk needs work/more training. They are blunt and rude. I would stand there in front of them for sometimes 5 mins before they looked up and said “what’s the name” like no I’m sorry for your wait, or how are you? A lot of times I would have to tell them to check me in because they don’t acknowledge you, but they act super irritated that your even there. Which is a shame because I do really like this place, but the front desk is your first impression, and it’s not a good one

Negative experience: Difficult to get appointments. Wait list only. Abrupt cancellations. They give appointments the week of and often when kids are in school making it difficult for a plan of care for working families. Therapists are fine but the scheduling is a barrier.

Negative experience: Was booked for occupational theatapy for 2 months once a week after my massive stroke. They lost the schedule and want accommodate me. Unprofessional and horrible people doing the booking shouldn’t be working at McDonald’s much less a medical practice!

Negative experience: I have found this practice to be run like a high volume business, with Covid precautions being only very loosely respected (there is not enough space). I’ve waited on hold over half an hour on occasion, and always at least five to ten minutes. The staff, though dedicated to helping people, seems demoralized by the money-making machine that is UF/Shands that only wants to speed things up to get more patients through. I found that the care was decidedly not trauma-informed, and that made it very difficult to process both manual therapy and In the past, we used Mag Parke for I evaluations for my son, who was diagnosed with autism later. The therapist was dismissive, not in tune with what she was doing, and told me my son wasn’t autistic because he could speak and was more engaged than many kids she sees. My overall impression of this practice, for adults and kids, is that it is expensive and surprising (the billing practices of waiting a month to bill and overcharging wildly), overscheduled, and not a place for anyone seeking trauma-informed care. It’s unfortunate that some of the truly gifted PTs there are made to work like this. Shame on Shands.

Fantastic experience: Listen guys,I've been going here for the last 3 years now and I promise you,THIS IS WHERE IT'S AT,LOL! When I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia around 7/2017,these guys were suggested by my Rheumatologist; Yvette came highly recommended for therapy. From day one of simply walking into the building until currently..I have built the most relaxing, comfortable, unifying, patient, diligent, and encouraging relationships with several therapists. Its such a homely environment. I am always incorporated in my care. You see SO much teamwork.Im one of their biggest cheerleaders!! I've left out so much more for you guys to appreciate on your own!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough about my experience. Mike and his intern Angel were extremely professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. They took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel very at ease. Most importantly, the therapy worked! The center was clean and set up to follow all safety protocols. Wonderful, overall experience!

Positive experience: In my humble opinion, this place is over rated. The staff thinks they are superior and not really friendly at all. The other Shands facility on Hull Rd is not that way.

Fantastic experience: Took our great Grand daughter to therpy. Her mothers seems to think it is helping

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Christine Eckert for vestibular therapy, she's fantastic at what she does.

Fantastic experience: Well I went here for the first time and they were so very nice very helpful. I don't think I waited maybe 10 minutes at the most the go in the back and I was given two people one are the people were studying at the UF University of Florida and the other was a physical therapist. They were very thorough and very gentle with me I couldn't have asked for more. I remember the name of the lady the physical therapist name was Erin I don't remember her last name. I will be going back twice a week and one of the times will be for stretching and the other will be a quick therapy and I should be doing this for 8 weeks. I'm really looking forward to it. The place is huge it's extremely clean and everyone there I mean everyone from the people that do the therapy to the receptionist were awesome I highly recommend this place if you need a good Rehab Center. Sincerely Tamara Kendricks

Negative experience: Thomas Hendrix (physical therapist) is great. Very professional and well dedicated to his job and patients. Unfortunately I can't say the same about their Customer Service STAFF. I was there few times for therapy and stopped at the front desk to ask how much I was supposed to pay before I left. The answer was "you're good, you can go. Don't have to pay anything"... This morning I got a bill that includes every co-pay for every time I went there. Going someplace else. Obviously , I don't mind paying. But If you ask the STAFF how much you owe (beforeyou leave) and they give you FALSE INFORMATION then we can definitely say they are INCOMPETENT.

Negative experience: Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Rehab- Physical therapists are wonderful and very considerate in care. Front office staff/receptionists are lackluster. Be WARNED, you MUST book your appointments at least a month in advance if not more if you want some kind of continuity of care, otherwise you will be bounced from one PT to another and spend half your appointment recapping what you've already had done and what the session will include. For a 45 minute appointment, 15 minutes of talk cuts into actual PT time. I went from scheduling my first 10 weekly appointments all at one time after waiting over a month after my referral. I was progressing well and needing to move to every 2-3 weeks so I cancelled my weekly appointments and tried to reschedule out 2-3 weeks. First appointment I could book with same PT was 5 weeks out with possibility of waitlist,(was never called on that waitlist in 5 weeks) I just called to schedule my appointments for next month and was told that first available with my regular PT wasn't until November, this review is being written the 2nd week of September. Clearly they would prefer to take on too many patients instead of admit they are understaffed and unable to handle load. Unfortunately this is at the risk of poor continuity of care and is counter to providing positive outcomes for their existing patients. I would highly recommend UF consider opening a larger facility for women's services alone where they can better manage staffing and load or refer patients to another clinic with a more balanced workload.

Positive experience: I have been a patient for about a month. I do the pool therapy , and really enjoy the sessions.

Negative experience: It has been just over 1 month since our pediatrician sent a referral for our 10 month old. Understanding these things take time, I waited 2 weeks to call to make sure they received our referral. "It's in the que, you'll be contacted" the woman who answered the phone said. Ok, cool. Another week goes by. I called back to ask how long these things normally take. I was transferred to a voicemail where I left a message and was told I would be called back shortly. Nope. Another week. Called again. Transferred to same voicemail. Still no call back. I am beyond frustrated with this office, and at this point (and honestly, as I should have done 3 weeks ago) we will be looking for another physical therapist for our daughter. It appears they have enough business.

Negative experience: My doctor sent a referral and no one responded. On the second day I left a voice message. Machine said someone would return the call before end of day. No one responded. I reached them by phone on the 3rd day and was told there are no available times for four weeks. Not helpful for today's pain

Negative experience: So I took my daughter in yesterday to meet with Brittany. I found her to be incredibly rude and dismissive. Shockingly bad experience. Do not take your child there. I am simply disgusted.

Fantastic experience: Great place, Erin, is a wonderful therapist.

Fantastic experience: I take my son, Sawyer, here for therapy twice a week. Janet is so sweet and easy to talk to, and she's so good with him. It's so obvious that they really care about helping kids, and they love what they do. Also, my son has made INCREDIBLE progress, after his birth injury almost 6 months ago. We are so thankful!
