Positive experience: I attended four sessions at this Physical Therapy location. The initial interaction with my trainer on the first day was positive, with a thorough examination and a comprehensive discussion of my plan. However, the subsequent three appointments were not as beneficial, prompting my decision to seek assistance elsewhere. One notable issue was that, during exercises, the trainer would often leave for an extended period, leaving me waiting. There was limited discussion about the purpose of each exercise or the targeted muscles. Additionally, I found myself repeating the same exercises in each session, with minimal variation. Most exercises seemed readily available online through a simple YouTube search. Observing staff interactions, I noticed a lack of attention to patients, as trainers engaged in conversations while clients received limited focus. In my last two sessions, the trainer's attention was divided among multiple patients, resulting in minimal interaction. Another trainer provided repetitive exercises, and it seemed like an effort to keep me occupied rather than tailored to my needs. While the trainer was amicable, the overall experience was frustrating due to dismissive treatment. Although the program provided was beneficial, the lack of trainer involvement was a notable drawback.

Fantastic experience: The best place to get recover from orthopedic surgery. Knowledgeable, experienced team of therapists, friendly and warm atmosphere, very clean facility, a lot of great equipment makes your road to recovery more enjoyable and quicker.

Fantastic experience: I’m recovering from shoulder surgery and have been coming to Vista Physical Therapy in Richardson since August. Michael has done an amazing job helping me get my shoulder to where it is today. The entire staff here has been so fantastic, friendly and welcoming and makes me feel so well cared for. My surgeon referred me to this location, and I will absolutely recommend it to anyone needing physical therapy. Shout out to Ryan as well! I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Michael Massenburg (PT, DPT, Clinic Director Richardson Vista Physical Therapy) asked me "are you good". My response was that "how can I not be excellent with you". Michael is like a superman of Physical Therapy. I respectfully nicknamed him a "muscle man". He and his staff are great and easy to work with. Location environment and everyone is very upbeat, motivational, cheerful, and helpful. With combination of advance knowledge and experience, Michael personally does his magic on my left shoulder muscles to extend the mobility range of whole arm. He personally cares and oversees all the exercises. I feel at home doing the physical therapy of my left shoulder replacement surgery with him and his team. He addresses all questions to help understand the details of any concerned topic. Under Michael and his team's care, I am progressing much faster in recovery than what I expected. Post only has 5 Stars but it’s definitely 7 Stars in all categories. Thanks kindly for everything to Michael and his team.

Fantastic experience: This is a solid team! They are fun, encouraging, caring and very knowledgeable. I had a total knee replacement and Michael and the Vista Richardson team have helped me tremendously and I am so thankful for them! If you ever have the need for PT I highly recommend this awesome Vista team!

Fantastic experience: The folks here are great! They're so welcoming and friendly but more importantly: they're good at their job. They push you enough to get you back but not so much you leave reinjured. They're also doing things that seem worthwhile. I've been to many PTs that have seemed like a waste of time. This isn't that; there's actual progression in treatment and a plan that everyone in the office seems privy to. If your assigned PT is working with another patient for a moment, someone else is ready to step in. Next time I get hurt, I'll be back.

Fantastic experience: I came to Vista after a 360 lumbar spinal fusion. Post-surgery, I was terrified in general of moving or being touched, scared I would “mess up” my surgery or cause more pain. But I immediately felt comfortable with Michael and before the end of my first visit, my fear subsided because I knew I could trust him. He’s knowledgeable and patient, yet motivating. Most importantly, he is genuinely concerned with the wellbeing of his patients. I am approaching six months post-surgery, and I feel strong and confident because the therapy I’ve received has laid a solid, safe foundation for me to build on as I continue in my recovery. I typically see Michael, but every therapist at Vista has been great. I cannot recommend Michael and his team enough!

Fantastic experience: Brought my 14 yr old son to Vista Proformance for some PT regarding very mild toe walking due to tight ligaments and weak muscles. Michael and Mary Katherine both worked with him and did a phenomenal job. They crafted an exercise regimen meant to help strengthen and stretch allowing him greater flexibility and vastly improved his gait. Half of his sessions were telemedicine visits due to Covid and he was able to keep the same level of intensity in his exercises at home that continued his progress. Highly recommend them!

No matter what your needs are Michael and all his team make it a point to ensure that you receive the best treatment for you. Fantastic experience: I came to Vista PT after an ACL reconstruction surgery, and of all the physical therapy clinics I've been, this has been the best one. The whole staff, quite literally every single person there, was such a positive part of the recovery. Something that people never mention about these types of injuries is the mental/emotional strain that they can have on you, and the team as Vista performance, deliberate or not, immensely helped with that part of recovery by really showing you every session that they care about you and see you as more than a patient/injury. Part of me was sad that I fully recovered, because I genuinely miss everyone there. I cannot recommend this wonderful group of professionals more. From the front desk workers, to the actual therapists and assistants, everyone was wonderful.

Physical therapy requires you put in the effort and they will push you. They will also be hands on and caring. Finally, writing this review, from using them a couple years ago, because I need to call and go in for s new issue...Would not consider another provider as long as they are open and I am here.

Fantastic experience: I don't usually write reviews but Michael Massenberg and the entire Vista PT staff in Richardson/Plano are OUTSTANDING! I have use Michael for the last two years, primarily working my two partially-torn shoulder rotator cuffs but also my knee and back. Michael helped me to strengthen all, allowing me to do daily tasks and gardening without pain. His work on my seriously damaged shoulders has enabled me to avoid surgery. He was recommended to me by two top Shoulder surgeons in downtown Dallas, one of which personally selects only the best PTs for his patients. Michael is superb at his work while being kind, encouraging and patient with his patients. He is the ONLY Physical Therapist that I will ever go to as he is simply the BEST!

However, I can't recommend Vista Proformance Physical Therapy highly enough. All because of Michael! He has been the best support through multiple surgeries for my husband and myself. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I have honestly felt that I could rely upon him more than I could my surgeons for information and guidance. I am so grateful to have found Vista Proformance Physical Therapy and especially Michael! My husband and I recently moved back to Los Angeles, where my husband has had to have 3 more surgeries, and finding the care like we received from Michael has been near impossible. Fantastic experience: I am so thankful that my doctor gave me the name of Vista Proformance for my PT. All the staff I have encountered are efficient and professional. My therapist, Mary Katherine is organized, patient and has helped my pain level decrease. PT assistant, Obie is a great help on keeping me on track with the exercises. The facility is clean, bright with lots of windows, which makes for a pleasant atmosphere.

From the staff to the doctors, everyone is friendly and committed to seeing their patients' goals met. The facilities are clean and state of the art. Dr. Mary Shadwick combines multiple different cutting edge techniques to rehabilitate her patients based on their needs. The aforementioned techniques I saw included Blood flow restriction, E-STIM, and dry needling. Her knowledge in the field incorporated with the latest technology make this the place to go. Not only will you receive the best care, but you will also get back to 100% in a timely manner, making progress each session. Fantastic experience: Michael really is awesome. Came here for rehab on my dislocated shoulder from playing baseball. I'm typically physically active and like to lift weights/play sports so Michael would keep a close eye on my progress and make the necessary adjustments to weight and movements. No matter what age you are this is the place to help you. Antonio one of the assistant's was awesome as well.

Fantastic experience: I started my physical therapy journey in late August to help me recover from knee surgery. I am so thankful my doctor paired me up with this place! I have never been to physical therapy before and I was nervous about putting pressure on my knee without my brace and I didn't know how this process was going to work. Right from the beginning, Mary Katherine helped ease my concerns explaining the process. I had the opportunity to be there 3 times a week for over 2 months and I watched people start their PT journeys and people complete their PT journeys. The culture this team creates is a warm inviting place for you to push through your fears and pain to achieve the mutual goal of strengthening your muscles to achieve maximum healing. They always know when to encourage you to push a little more or when to help you be aware of the signs when your body is telling you to ease up. Michael & Mary Katherine and the rest of the staff from the front desk to the assistants are top notch and you can tell they enjoy what they do, which is help you get better!
