Fantastic experience: Dr Johnson’s, visit today was good as usual. I’ve seen him before and my son has seen him for sports injuries several times. He is low key and explains things very well. My son was 8 the first time he went and is 14 now……. he feels really comfortable with him. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Only critique I could give is the client information pages are long, put into a digital format for speed or email the client prior to the visit so they can fill it out ahead. I was told it needs to be updated each year.

Positive experience: Dr Johnson is good but the wait is long. I didn’t see him until 1.25 hrs after my appointment time.

Positive experience: My experiences have mainly been positive except in one area. I always have extended wait times before seeing the doctor. Wait times typically are 40 to 50 minutes after scheduled appointment. Most recently I waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes. No one ever comes to advise on any delays.

Fantastic experience: Great doctors and very helpful staff. Very pleasant to deal with whenever I have to go there. Dr Zoys is definitely the best.

Positive experience: Dr Zoys is straight forward, and listens to you. He does what needs to be done to take care of your joint needs. He's exact and to the point. He and the other doctors in the practice are personble, enough, nice enough, but they are not chit-chat men. They get you in, do what needs to be done, then they get you out and on to the next patient. They do not waste time.

Fantastic experience: Dr. G. Zoys is great and always understanding and patient with my concerns or questions before having surgery. His Asst Tabitha is awesome as well as the staff! I’ve been a patient since 2004 and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend him.

Negative experience: My name is Shelley Brown. I went to this Center 9/2021 with a very painful, swollen foot. Xrays were taken and I was informed by Dr. Zoys that nothing appeared to be wrong with my foot and I should take anti-inflammatories and ice it. I knew that there was something very wrong with my foot. I sought the opinion of another Doctor and after viewing the Xrays taken at that office I was told that I had stress fractures and a fallen arch. After weeks in a boot and proper medication I am finally better. Ortho & Sports Medicine Center continues to send me a bill monthly for $11.35 that my insurance didn't pay when clearly they never should have received a dime because of misdiagnosis which caused extended pain for me and more charges incurred! And they don't deserve the one star that I had to give them to make this post!

I can't say enough about him because that's how great this man is. I would refer everyone to him that's experiencing orthopedic issues. The X-ray Tech is very friendly & she makes you feel at ease, the his nurse assistant & front office staff are wonderful & friendly also. If I could, I would give him a 100 star rating! Fantastic experience: Saw Dr. Zoys in July. Very nice friendly staff. Gave me meds for my knee but unfortunately I transferred to Houston, so I’ll need to see a new Dr. and start over. Highly recommend this facility!

Negative experience: I brought my grandmother here for an appt and having worked at a doctors office myself this is the rudest unprofessional incompetent staff. Front the front to the back and the Dr. I would never recommend anyone here the whole experience was disgusting. Do not come here there’s better orthopedic offices than this one.

Negative experience: I have a simple blue cross& blue shield hmo plan. As an insurance adjuster I understand the inner workings of insurance procedures and this office indicates that they do not accept MY particular version of bcbs hmo. ?¿?¿ A simple call to the insurance provider to confirm if they could proceed with treatment and provide myself with an invoice, that I could then give to my provider requesting reimbursement for any covered procedures. But no, I am assuming that must have been to hard of a task to accomplish. As long treatment falls within the policy boundaries and pricing is within a "fair & reasonable" amount. It should not be an issue. Instead I had to leave as quickly as I arrived. STILL IN AN AGONIZING PAIN!!! Only to review my policy and confirm the prior information listed. Unless this office outright refuses my particular version of hmo for some unknown reasons. I have no other information to go on. In addition, as I was requested to fill out my new patient forms online in advance. They should really confirm if they work with the insurance company beforehand as well. To have to drive across town. As they were referred by my physician (who was also baffled they didn't work with bcbs) and then drive back home. All while having bulged disks and my L4 to S1 pinching together on my sciatic nerves. Was just the icing on the cake I needed to ensure I warn others to stay away from this office. Or at the very least. Call and make sure they work with your insurance before you waste your time like I did. Oh well, back to square one I guess. ‍♂️‍♂️ 0/5 ⭐

Fantastic experience: Dr Johnson has done a great job on my knees. Right knee meniscus repair and therapy on on left knee. I had been in pain for years and now can participate in sports pain free. He has a great bedside manner and explains any procedure thoroughly. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center since 1980. I started with Dr. Blattmon. Then Dr. Graham. Then Dr. Kline. And now Dr. Zoys. Every doctor in this practice is EXCELLENT. That's why when each doctor retires, I just move on with another one. Dr. George Zoys is an outstanding doctor in this field. He has won numerous awards. Google him.

Fantastic experience: I can't begin to express how amazing my visit with Dr. George Zoys was today from start to finish. The level of care and attention he demonstrated was simply impressive and refreshing. The high quality level of care started when I entered the door with the front desk personal. Then was quickly taken back and treated with so much care and understanding even before seeing the doctor, not rush for one second. Had my xrays taken right away and even though the visit was fast due to their efficiencies in place, I felt so cared for and all my concerns addresses. He was just the best, go see for yourself! :)
