Fantastic experience: This place was nice with the customers and especially the PT John and the OT Lauren and especially the techs for the PT and OT Kristen they were so knowledgeable about patients diagnosis so they knew exactly what to do that will help them get them exactly were you want to be or close to walking This is the only place I would ever go back too
Negative experience: I would have given zero stars, but that isn't possible. I do NOT recommend staying here for any reason. My 93 year old Dad just left Vibra today after an 11 day stay for knee surgery rehab. The nursing care was abysmal. I stayed with my Dad the whole time, and being an RN myself, I was shocked at the poor care. I've stayed with many family members when they were in the hospital and this place had the worst care I've ever seen. My Dad was going to OT and PT each morning and afternoon. We would ask for pain medicine at least an hour before he was scheduled for therapy. It always took an hour or more for them to bring it, so he was usually in bad pain during therapy. This hampered his progress significantly. I'd usually ask for pain med using the call light. After 30 minutes of waiting, I'd go to nursing station and ask again. After another 15 minutes, I'd go ask again. It might then be brought after another 15 minutes. Once his blood pressure was quite high and his scheduled BP meds were brought an hour late, even after asking for them 3 times. The nurses were sitting at nursing desk. I won't go into detail about the rest of things that caused dissatisfaction, but there was a lot. The nurses usually acted like it was an inconvenience to them if they were asked to do anything, eventhough I often found them at the desk looking at their phones. The food, although tasting ok, usually came lukewarm in tiny portions. The only thing we were satisfied with were the PT and OT. The therapists were nice and did a good job, but the poor nursing care made the stay unbearable and actually dangerous to his health. If possible, find somewhere else to go. Definitely do not leave your loved one here alone.
Fantastic experience: Vibra is the best place on Earth They treat like you're a person if you do what they ask and you try everyday to work as hard as you can it will work I have been treated very well here they go out of the way to help you they go out of their way to do anything I need to do to help you they are above a 5
Fantastic experience: My mother was recently admitted to Vibra, after a hard month of surgeries, Vibra rehabilitation hospital and staff gave her the best care. She’s on her way to recovery and thank them for their care!
Fantastic experience: My husband recently rehabbed through early recovery from knee replacement. Every staff member we had contact with treated him with great care. From a loved ones perspective, I had great confidence knowing he was cared for well. We highly recommend Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo. Fantastic experience: My mother was admitted to Vibra after a triple cardiac bypass and spending 2.5 weeks in an ICU in Lubbock. Hal was extremely helpful in getting everything set up. The staff there was caring and knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The atmosphere was very inviting and friendly.

The doctors, nurses and therapists were ALL excellent; they were detail oriented, easily accessible, and their goal was to help me gain strength and return home as soon as possible. It’s a lovely facility, very clean, airy and open. While none of us ever plans to need rehab, I feel very fortunate to have picked Vibra.

Fantastic experience: I worked with Hal to do the impossible, move my mom from one facility to Vibra in a day. Hal made the stressful situation almost zero stress. This might not happen for every case, but after being in the facility for almost 72 hours, we already have a discharge plan. The nurses and staff have all been responsive and take care of my mom the way I would think a facility should. The room is kept clean daily. The food is good. The therapy staff are clear to not only family members asking about specific things but also to the patient. Clear steps forward and what is needed to discharge are made available to help encourage the patients. If looking for a place to do your rehab or your loved ones, I recommend Vibra Rehab on SW 9th st.

Fantastic experience: My wife was admitted for 2 1/2 weeks, not able to get out of bed and barely speak. She left walking with a walker for stability and speaking mostly normal again. The physical, speech and occupational therapy was outstanding, as long as the patient commits to trying and doing better each day. Big thanks to all the therapists. The nursing staff was superb also. There were all very caring, considerate and compassionate. Couldn't have asked for better caregivers. Three constructive criticisms to improve: 1. Hire more nursing staff. They are terribly understaffed and working their tails off more than they should, which leads to delays in getting their attention when needed. 2. The food was not so great and my wife is not a picky eater. A waffle or something, that came one day was flat, burned and not edible. Other items were okay. Think the kitchen could use some training from BSA. Also the menu being preselected for 2 weeks in advance cannot anticipate the improvement in the patient's ability to feed themselves and what they can eat. If it has to be pre-selected, I would recommend 5 days maximum. Or at least the ability to change it during the week. It was a disappointment for sure. 3. Do better with doctor/NP communication. The staff may have told my wife her status and prognosis at times but she couldn't remember anything usually due to her mental clarity and often didn't remember anyone coming to check on her. I couldn't get many answers from nurses. I would suggest the ability for some kind of briefing with a family contact daily, not just the patient. If ever in the position that a family member needed rehabilitation care, Lord forbid it, we would recommend a loved one staying a Vibra Rehab overall to get the care needed to come home and be able to function with self care.

Fantastic experience: I, as a physician in a small rural community, need to have options to assist my patients in providing the care they need. Since the Covid pandemic we have had to take care of patients with increased acuity in our limited care hospital. We have done so to the best of our capabilities but at times a patient needs more than we can provide. Transfers to higher level of care isn't as automatic as it has been in the past. For patients best interest medically and for family convenience Vibra rehab and Vibra hospital have been instrumental in providing just that. I would recommend any other physician in the panhandle to keep Vibra in mind for the care needed for their complicated patients in need of a care level not available at a small local hospital. Call Vibra and talk to one of their intake reps to get the ball rolling. They will work with you and your facility to care for your patient.

Fantastic experience: Lost my leg in a motorcycle accident and wasn’t ready to go home when released from the hospital. My insurance approved rehabilitation and I chose Vibra because several of the nurses at the hospital had worked there and said it was really good. They were right! The care I received was top notch, just like I received in the hospital! I loved the meals and my appetite came roaring back! Physical therapy and occupational therapy were exactly what I needed to help me get my strength back and learn how to do things in my new condition. After two weeks I am ready to go home and thanks to my case worker I will receive home health care to ensure my home is safe for me. I highly recommend Vibra to anyone that needs more care before going home after a hospital stay and is motivated to get their life back. When they say “intense” physical therapy they’re serious! However they make sure you are safe and comfortable. Special thanks to Monica and Samantha for all you did to get me here!

Fantastic experience: My mother was in Vibra for 15 days - she had fallen and fractured her pelvis - she was treated so good and was walking better when she came home than before she fell - my mom loved the food - she ate really good while she was there - I went up there everyday to check on her and her room and all of the facility was very clean - I would totally recommend this rehab hospital to anyone that wants to get going and back on their feet quickly - Aiza(I think that’s how it’s spelled) was her physical therapist - she was the greatest - my mom and I loved her - also an occupational therapist Krista was so helpful and nice to both of us - I usually don’t submit reviews, but I had read some of the reviews for Vibra on Google and a lot of them were bad - our experience here was nothing but great so I wanted to make sure people knew that

Negative experience: Don’t take your loved ones here. My grandfather was taken here after recovering from COVID-19 and they did nothing. Not even the little things like clean his dentures or properly clean him at all. He came home with sores in his mouth.

Fantastic experience: Vibra Rehab worked miracles with me after a long stay in the hospital with COVID-19. I have MS and am in a wheelchair so after being on the vent 2 weeks and then tracheotomy and feeding tube, I was lifeless. I could hardly move a muscle, but they worked with me slowly and intentionally. After 3 weeks, I was surprised I could do as much as I did! I am now at home still gaining strength slowly but want to thank the nurses, aides, therapists and staff for all they did to help me recuperate! God bless all of you!

Negative experience: I am in for rehabilitation for stroke most nurses are good seems like there are a lot of people that are new or contracted to help that is not good. I feel that the rehab is things that I can do at home or in and out at other places. I feel like I am good enough to go home I think I can be in my own environment as long as I have someone there with me . My wife took time off of work to do just that but they will not release me food is very bad I have 3 days left on insurance to get re looked at and guess what that is when they are going to look at me to go home. I think that it’s all about the insurance money it’s the weekend I will not get much therapy on weekend so they should have let my go home. Please do not come here if you want to get a good experience.
Negative experience: The first day there my wife was confronted about refusing to do therapy. She hadn’t refused but had asked several questions as she was very delicate and in severe pain and didn’t want to be further injured. She ordered her food a week in advance but then didn’t receive what she had ordered. In some cases she was served foods she was allergic to. The physical therapists bullied her rather than encouraging her. Any time she was slow or frustrated they said, “Vibra is an intense rehab facility. If you won’t do it maybe you don’t belong here.” On her final day there, after the were sending her to a different rehab because she couldn’t keep up with their demands, they refused to give her her pain medication causing her to be in extreme pain. That being said the nurses are amazing for the most part. They are the reason Vibra got two stars instead of one.

Fantastic experience: It's my place of work. We take very good care of our patients. They have a therapy gym for patients to go home being more independent. It's a great place for our love ones to improve their life style of living.
Negative experience: My Grandmother was in the facility for 2 weeks, and the physical therapist were rude, disrespectful, and degrading to her. They have taken food from her, and verbally abused her until she was in tears. The doctors and nurses did an excellent job, however the actions of the physical therapists are inexcusable.
Fantastic experience: Vibra Rehab made getting bilateral knee replacements a fenominal experience. All the staff (doctors, nurses, tecks, therapists, cooks, and custodials) work closely together to get the best outcome. They are more than competent; they are compassionate, gentle, attentive, caring, and truely gifted at patient care. I have made true friends there.
