Fantastic experience: Kayla is my PT and she is helping me walk again. She is patient, explains what is happening as my injury heals. It is a rare occurrence to really feel heard and have people be patient with you and Kayla does! And Erin is equally as amazing! Helpful, kind and a ready smile.

Fantastic experience: I was a patient there for 5 weeks or so and before me, my husband was a patient there for 12 weeks. Both times we were very happy with the service received. Letty was both of our therapist and I really have no complaints. She was thorough and nice, she asked all the right questions and was a tremendous help. also she was very informative when we had questions for her. all in all, we were both happy with the service provided.

Negative experience: This office receptionist is extremely rude and incapable of communicating effectively. My husband missed one appointment, and called to reschedule the following week due to funeral services we had to attend. Some advised him to go ahead and keep his scheduled visit for the following week. We tried to go to his appointment and the receptionist stated he was discharged and needed a new order to go because he was a no show the week before. I explained to her that we did speak with someone and explained the situation and she stated there was no notation. I advised her that was not on my husband because we did call and that's what we were told. She stated she didn't believe us and he was still discharged. I don't believe that should be on my husband when an employee failed to leave notes on an account. She was extremely rude about it and would not help us. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Positive experience: Let me start off by saying that the actual physical therapy staff is phenomenal. Very thorough, knowledgeable and kind. However, the receptionist Erin is TERRIBLE. She is mean on the phone and in person. She cuts you off when you are asking a question, gives an attitude over everything, and is just simply uncaring. I thought maybe I was being overly sensitive, but I witnessed her be that way with another patient too. The patient even looked at me while in the waiting room and said, "Wow, she just doesn't care does she?" Erin is the first person that you deal with when coming to physical therapy there, so I would think they would want someone that gives a good first impression. She does the opposite. The only reason we will continue going there is because of the physical therapists. If we were basing our entire opinion on Erin, we would never go back.

Fantastic experience: A week after a Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement, I started PT with Northwest Sports and Ortho, and gained enough movement and pain relief that, one week later, my surgeon took the restrictions off of me! It took hard work on both of our parts, but I was happy to see the improvement and so was my surgeon!!

Fantastic experience: This is the BEST place in Amarillo to find knowledgeable and caring physical therapy. The entire staff is kind and friendly to all who walk in the door .. the therapists are all well trained and compassionate caring people who simply seem to truly enjoy their work as they help you. My therapist, Susan, is a true Godsend .. she understands the importance of my hands in my porcelain pieces and she has created exercises that instantly call upon my own memory response .. things my hand just "does easily out of habit/recall. That was sheer GENIUS .. and she's always so upbeat .. friendly and helpful. I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my physical therapy and I've now had both .. the water therapy .. currently, the physical

Fantastic experience: First, I think I should explain that I am a healthcare professional, I’m a Physicians Assistant. I had a total right hip replacement. I don’t have a single complaint about the hospital, surgical suite or the surgical staff. I was treated extremely well, I was treated extremely kindly and professional. I am extremely happy with the level of care that I was given before, during and after surgery. I will never have an issue referring my patients to Northwest Sports and Ortho. My surgeon was Dr. major Blair. I could not have wished for a better professional, caring surgeon. His nurse at the clinic was responsive to my request.

Fantastic experience: It's the staff. I've been to several rehab agencies but this one suits me. When I go in it's quiet, there's not a lot of loud visiting going back and forth to where the client feels like a third wheel. Staff focuses on the client and the client's issues. The client feels like they want you to get better. My visits are painful but I still look forward to coming.

Fantastic experience: Leticia was very supportive and worked with me to give me strength and healing of my muscles and great at giving tips for therapy to do at home. My pain level much improved by end of my three week therapy and thankful when measured again at end of the therapy how much my movement improved. Every one at the Northwest Sports and Ortho very profession and made you feel very welcome there.

Fantastic experience: Awesome group of people. Very patient and polite and make me feel like they genuinely care and want to help you be the person you have the potential to be after a physical injury. They’re flexible with their scheduling and don’t have a ridiculous protocol for trying to call and tell them you can’t make it to an appointment if something in life comes up last minute. I never feel like I’m being forced to do something that isn’t helping me rehabilitate.

Fantastic experience: I came in for outpatient PT from a total hip replacement. I was optimistic since I had been in inpatient physical therapy at North West Texas Hospital and was very pleased with the whole staff at the hospital. Well I wasn’t let down. My primary physical therapist is Phyllis and she is wonderful. Very knowledgeable and so helpful. I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone needing PT.
