Negative experience: I went in for my first visit and was told to arrive 30 minutes early to my 10am appointment so I arrived exactly at 9:30am and filled out all of my paper work. When it was about 9:50am, the lady at the front desk notified me that the doctor had a personal medical appointment at 8:30am and should be in shortly by 10am for my appointment. I waiting until 10:30am and there was no sign or update on when the doctor would be arriving. I had another appt I had to get to by 12pm so I had allotted a 2 hour buffer between appointments which is more that sufficient since this office had told me my appointment at South Bay Wellness would be an hour. Not only was I told to arrive 30 minutes early so that my appointment could start promptly at 10 but the doctor was more that 30 minutes late due to his own personal appointments. I sat in the office for an hour waiting for my appt. The doctor should not schedule appointments in the morning if he has his own personal things to deal with that way he doesn’t waste his patients time waiting for him in his office. Very disappointed with this experience and will not be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I have a dental office next door to Dr K and we feel so confident in his work that not only all my staff and Doctors are patients of Dr K, but we I refer all our patients weather for TMJ or because they could not get out of bed to him. Dr K is great at what he does and he goes out of his way to make sure the patients are taken care of. Hard to believe that I have received gifts from patients for referring them to Dr K. because they have seen results and are extremely satisfied. These patients have been treated by other Medical doctors, chiropractors and have never had such amazing results, because Dr K simply cares and puts 200% when treating patients. My in laws travel all the way from Vancouver BC to get treatment simply because he is amazing and patient's get results. If you are looking to be treated by a Doctor who cares and gives you results this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: I suffered a stroke 3 weeks ago and I started therapy right away with Dr Kian. I could not move my right hand, right arm, right leg and right foot. With in a week I regained movement back due to the treatment and therapy from here but I noticed a major improvement every time I walked out of his office. His attention to detail and extra effort has helped me gain 80-85% back of my motor skills and has helped me recovery in a matter of a few weeks while other doctors has estimated a few months. Wow has Dr Kian done wonders for me and for that I am truly grateful and highly recommend him !

Fantastic experience: Initially I was afraid of chiropractors, but after finding Dr.Javid wow. From the very first session everything is so smooth. He takes the time to explain how your body works and how your pain comes to be. I've been now attending for a few months now from lower back pains. I've felt so much better, my posture and body feel align. Elaine she works the front desk, sweetest lady you'll meet. So attentive and on top of your appointments. And Randy she's dr javid assistant as well, always with a positive energy and outgoing. You will not regret coming here.

Fantastic experience: Great first experience. Office was clean and service was prompt. I came in for lower back pain and doctor took a full approach, assessing prior injuries as well. I liked that and the alignment was good. It was only one visit and pain hasn't gone away fully, but at least I can bend over and out my shoes on now haha.

Negative experience: 2.5 stars... Went for well over a month last summer of 2018 after I was in a severe auto accident for neck/disc injuries. Reason I'm giving half stars is because staff (Dr. Javid, Mercedes,& Tina) are super friendly & courteous.. BUT treatment did not help ME in the long run until I went to a qualified physical therapist! Dr. Javid is a passionate caring chiropractor but treatment with him was a roller coaster ride of constant spasms shortly after/between visits that didn't improve with time & average run of the mill IMHO chiropractor approach after initial consult. At times while being stressed by that 3x a week visits were ideal for treatment/recovery.. Dr. Javid did not even treat me or personally see me at all as electrical stimulation & electronic massage provided by either Mercedes or Tina (his receptionists) for a mere few MINUTES ... YET charged a full office visit that didn't give me ANY relief or improvement before stepping into the office that day. Also charges at the end of treatment when I decided it was in my own best judgement to discontinue chiropractic (due to developing vertigo, etc) ended up being greater than initially expected while keeping track of cost... of every visit. All & all treatment was not beneficial for ME & my situation! Having said that Dr. Javid's chiropractic treatment may or may not work for you depending on your injury situation. Having said that be careful about seeking Chiro when it comes to disc injuries & IF you decide to get treatment with him make sure you get the most out of YOUR treatment & money thats beneficial to you. A lot BUT not all of these chiropractors in general do business with lawyers & prefer getting payment upon court settlements. Just make sure chiropractic is safe for your situation & always consult with a high qualified medical professional first that isn't so quick to recommend surgery!

Fantastic experience: Wow, where do I begin! I was in desperate need of a chiropractor due to a neck injury (I pulled something when lifting at the gym). My neck was so bad, I was as stiff as a rock. I couldn't move my head without feeling any pain. To add on, the right side of my neck was in so much pain, my head was tilted towards the left. I was losing sleep due to the pain. I was just a mess. I decided to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kian as his location is very close to my job. Mercedes helped schedule my appointment. First & foremost, Mercedes is a very caring, friendly, & sweet person. I honestly felt really cared for, like I mattered. She was able to get me an appointment as early as possible with Dr. Kian Javid. Words cannot express how happy I am to've been in good hands with Dr. Javid. During our first meeting, he did a thorough evaluation of my head, neck, & overall body movements. He wanted to see how much I can/ cannot do. I was taken aback as to how much he really cared for me as a patient because sadly, you don't get this type of service everywhere else. Some Drs. are always in a hurry, they only care about getting you out as soon as possible. I didn't feel this way with Dr. Kian Javid. He took his time to explain the process (treatment), adjustments, & how overtime, damage can be done to our bodies if we don't take care of it. After my first visit with Dr. Kian, the pain I had on my neck was no more. It was gone. I was able to move without pain. I was able to drive comfortably. Overall, I felt amazing. He also treated me for lower back pain. As I write this, I still cannot believe how much my lower back has improved. I feel more comfortable sitting at work (I have a desk job). Just this week, I went back to the gym & I felt stronger than ever, like I could do more than before. I was able to run & lift weights with no nagging sore or pain. Thank you Mercedes & Dr. Kian Javid for your assistance thus far. I am forever grateful & look forward to my future treatments at your office.

Negative experience: I went there to get treatment after an accident and before going asked Mercedes what my charges would be because I was treating at multiple places. I was assured what I was going to be charged before stepping foot in the office. Then when I requested a bill of my charges it was triple what was agreed to. When I expressed concern i was mansplained how it’s all necessary and I need to keep coming despite me saying multiple times I could not afford to continue because of what was being charged. The treatment itself made me hurt worse more than anything so I’m out more money than I agreed to and as of my last appointment with them my body felt worse than when I walked in. If you’re looking for physical therapy go somewhere else because this isn’t the place. And before you go get a list of charges in writing so they can’t charge you more than you agreed to after the fact. Definitely a lesson learned. :-(

Fantastic experience: I have always suffer from back problems but once I met dr kian he helped me alot, an i have notice my back has been doing good ever sense he does his adjustment, he also helps you understand why your having that pain and how you can make it better. He is agreat dr. an really cares about his patients.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kian is very supportive and understanding. He helped me recover from my car accident injury. My car was hit from behind and I really needed a doctor who can treat my neck/back pains. Dr. Kian and other staff in office is really nice. They put me in schedule right away and helped me through the whole process of healing. They also worked with me on payment plan. Sometimes it takes time for insurance companies to process cases. But Dr. Kian encouraged me to get treatments first. I felt so fortunate to find a doctor who really cares about patients and helps them get back on their feet. I strongly recommend Dr. Kian.
