Fantastic experience: I recently had my first visit with Dr. Rosa Lina Peñaloza and Nurse Ana, and it was such a positive experience. Dr. Peñaloza was incredibly kind, empathetic, and made me feel completely at ease during our conversation. As a Latina, I appreciated how genuine and relatable she was, it made me feel even more comfortable and confident in her care. I’m so happy to have her as my primary care doctor. Nurse Ana was wonderful as well, going out of her way to ensure everything was seamless. She even scheduled my dermatology appointment right after my visit, which saved me so much time and effort. I also love the convenience of this Kaiser location. The pharmacy being in the same building made it easy to pick up my medications immediately after my appointment. The whole process felt very efficient and patient centered. Thank you, Dr. Peñaloza and Nurse Ana, for such great care! I’m looking forward to continuing my health journey with this amazing team.

Fantastic experience: I had issues/ pain with in the back of my thighs, both left & right I was told it was possibly a muscle issue & was told to make an appointment to visit a physical therapy. My appointment was with Kesena Eroraha PT He took the time to evaluate my situation & asked a lot of questions.Then he told me he was going to stretch my back muscles/nerves. He also had me do some exercises. So each time we completed the stretching & my exercises, he would ask me how I felt. Surprisingly, I really felt a lot better. Each session he would adjust/stretch my nerves in my back & give me additional exercises so I would have a better understanding of what I was capable of doing. I appreciate his willingness to challenge me, get me involved in feeling better & my health. Thank Mr. Eroraha And thank you Kaiser Permanente ☺️

Positive experience: My family has been with Kaiser for decades. We love the staff and doctors and kp.org is wonderful. Now my mom is almost 90 and now on a walker. And I have arthitis in my knees. We had to wait so long for the parking structure elevator.. Seems only one is working? Someone commented that's its been a year with only one elevator working. That is really bad when people are sick or too weak to take the stairs or stand for a long time. Can it be repaired?

Fantastic experience: Today I had a very productive, informative and interactive PT session with Kesena Eroraha. I usually do not like the PT sessions at Kaiser because some therapists appear to not care and are very robotic. Thank you Mr. Kesena Eroraha for changing my mind with your expertise, and yes, I would definitely recommend him to other patients.

Positive experience: Check in is always a challenge. There's a kiosk but it never let's me check in when all I need to do is labs. I always have to stand in a long line

Fantastic experience: I saw Michael L Overstreet for Physical Therapy at the Inglewood Medical Offices. He is an excellent therapist, very knowledgeable and helpful. I was very comfortable and at ease answering questions and following his instructions. He was very polite and attentive while I was going through my exercises and sometimes exhibiting pain. He made my session easier.

Fantastic experience: I really love Inglewood as a facility. That includes all the medical staff. Dr. Davidson has been my doctor for about 12 years. She asks the right questions and listens to my answers before making a recommendation. I have referred my daughter and several friends to be patients with Dr. Davidson as their physician.

Fantastic experience: Reception staff member Branden Moore was excellent in assisting me while checking in for my X Rays. Even though I came in close to end of day, Branded did not hesitate to assist and make sure I was able to have my XRays taken.

Fantastic experience: My medical appointments with Dr. Davidson always meet my needs. She leaves no stone unturned, and makes sure I receive the best possible care to address my health concerns. She has a wonderful bedside manner—a very attentive, patient, and thorough doctor. Brenda, her nurse, is especially helpful and patient as well! They make a great team! I travel 72 miles (one way) for Dr. Davidson’s medical care. Having such a dedicated and responsive primary physician is well worth the drive! :)

Positive experience: Inglewood Kaiser Facility is a Gem. However, I rated it 3 stars because Kaiser Permanente needs to do BETTER for the Sickle Cell Clinic. We need more staffing that includes more doctors and nurses that a compassionate and patient to facilitate the care of the Sickle Cell patients who desperately need the care week after week. Because there is not adequate staffing most patients suffer at home or in an ER room. I strongly believe if this clinic was in an upper scale community the outcome would be different. I need Kaiser to do BETTER for all of us that are enduring the hardship that comes with living with Sickle Cell Anemia. In addition to additional staff, we need more space. Currently there is not enough space to handle more than 3 patients on a given day. KAISER DO BETTER BY YOUR MEMBERS WITH SICKLE CELL ANEMIA. This is my honest prayer.

Positive experience: I love Dr. Davidson and the care she gives me. She is always thorough and answers all of my questions. She works well with my other doctors in other departments. Dr. Davidson is also excellent with follow ups. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because Kaiser doesn’t allow enough time with our doctors and sometimes it’s hard to get appointments in a timely manner. I admire the fact that Dr. Davidson does not leave her patients waiting for absurd amounts of time ( I have waited over two hours in one department to see my provider), she does well with staying on schedule.

Fantastic experience: I came to the Kaiser Permanente Medical Office in Inglewood, CA, to get blood drawn for my quarterly diabetic checkup. After the blood was drawn, I came to the lobby and proceeded to call the Kaiser Permanente Appointment Center. I pulled out my wallet from my back pocket and pulled out my Kaiser Permanente Medical Card. I placed my wallet along side of my left leg. As I scheduled my doctor's appointment, I seen there was no one in line to be attended to in the Reception Booths. I got up without thinking and left my wallet on the lobby chair. I briefly spoke to the receptionist to confirm my appointment and street address. When I heard my name over the speaker. To my surprise it was Security Personnel. My wallet was turned in to them, and they accounted for everything inside my wallet. I appreciate and respect honesty. I want to acknowledge Security Officer Cheryl Smith and Marcel Patterson for their professionalism...

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment with Dr. Penaloza and I was very pleased. She made me feel comfortable and at ease. The nurse that took my vitals was very polite and caring. I'm glad that Dr. Penaloza is my new doctor.

Fantastic experience: Edit: I had to get labs again and decided to give it another shot. The experience was completely different. Everyone was kind and respectful not only to me but all of the patients. The phlebotomist that took my labs was so skilled and quick and I appreciated her friendly demeanor. Very grateful to have had my mind changed. Original post, Feb 2023: Getting labs there was an awful experience. The young woman was rude to the point that I asked for someone else to take my labs. She proceeded to yell at some other patients that didn't speak English, as if yelling would help them better understand what she was saying. Not someone I would ever want to be near, and not someone that should be wielding a needle. Her boss and the other young man working there were great, but she was enough of nuisance that I'll never get labs there again.

Fantastic experience: We came in to get both my daughters physicals and my son was bleeding alittle from a scab he picked and I asked her for a alcohol pad. The nurse who helped us Towonna M Beard took him in a examination room and clean him up aswell as gave him extra bandaids just incase. She was sweet to him along with my girls during their physicals.

Negative experience: Went to this location for the second time & had the worse experience 7/7/23. Had some lab test done. The woman that checked me in, said the wait would be 50-60min. I said okay, that's fine! But what she failed to mention, is that if your coming in for test but don't have an appointment to be seen by a doctor. Essentially, you're not priority and anyone with an appointment on that day will go ahead of (you). I believe the term used was "stat". Found that out 90min after the lady told me it would be a 60min wait. Okay, no big deal. Although the communication is poor there's nothing I can do about that. So, at this point, the wait time said 5-10min but after 30min passed & the wait time never elapsed. It was obvious the monitor displaying patients name & estimated wait time is inadequate. I soon realized every other patient who had a longer wait time, initially, had already been seen and left because they were "stat". Which in my opinion, isnt fair because a patient can have an appointment during or after the time (I or anyone else checked in) but because they were seen, they can literally go ahead of any person who has already been waiting for an extended period of time. Again, nothing I can do...but the worse part about this whole experience is. When I approached the lab where I saw a nurse, Susan A. & kindly asked, after stating my name. "Excuse me mam Ive been waiting going on two hours and just wanted to know whats the estimated wait time?" Her reply, it says 5-10min on the monitor. Me "I understand that, but it hasn't changed from 5-10min for 30min now". Her reply, sorry it's Friday, you have to wait like everyone else, as if I hadn't been waiting like everyone else. She added, if you have any problems you can contact my supervisor and proceeds to give me a card with a barcode, as if I could get an immediate response! Ms. Susan was unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive. Furthermore, after all the miscommunication, the inaccuracies in the estimated wait time, I'm actually okay with all that. But what I can't understand, is why a nurse wouldn't have more etiquette, some empathy, maybe. Basically adding insult to injury! I was seen 15min after that, a grand total of 2hrs. & it took me less than 5min to give a sample specimen. Pls make this process more fair!

Negative experience: I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND. If I could give 0 stars i would. The doctor Mi Zheng is rude and doesnt have patients best interest at heart. I've reported to her on multiple visits that i was experiencing tingles throughout the body. instead of her ordering an MRI she just kept telling me that she'd monitor them. It took for me breaking down crying due to pain, tingles and her lack of empathy for her to finally request an MRI. There was an appointment i had with her virtually also and she just ended the appointment without even saying bye, or asking if i had any other questions. I was given work restrictions and She's pressured me into telling her that i could lift more weight than i could. I'd tell her "I dont know because I havent been lifting." She'd reply "well, time is passing so you should be improving." She just had a horrible attitude and was unprofessional. There was also another incident where i came for my appointment but i was turned away because my appointment was cancelled. I told the woman who helped me (Isis Wattson) I hadn't been called about an appointment cancellation. Isis confirmed that in her computer it showed i wasnt notified. I then spoke to another receptionist by the name of Virna/Verna Hayes or Hanes. I asked her if she could write me a note that I could give to my attorney due to me being seen for a work injury, and she refused to write me a note Stating that my appointment was canceled without me being notified. I just needed this note to prove that I showed up so that my job could cover my transportation costs. She told me to "go upstairs and get a note from somebody up There." I found that to be very unprofessional, because who is the "somebody" she didn’t even give me a name. She also refused her name to me. I had to find out through another employee. I’m so glad to say I will not be back here ever.

Fantastic experience: From the greeters, reception and nurses assistant taking vitals were extremely pleasant, helpful. The check-in was very efficient. This was the best customer service I have ever experienced out of all Kaisers I have ever visited in the past and present.

Negative experience: They were 45 minutes late for a COVID booster.

Negative experience: Waiting for Dr over 30 minutes, brought to the attention of nurses or whatever they are, the response was discourteous. The language should represent the actual actions. “The dr will be right in” The dr. came in 45 minutes later and blamed it in my late check ! Should of shared that in the beginning

Fantastic experience: Kaiser has less wait here for pharmacy and lab work than most other locations I've been to. Friendly staff.

Negative experience: The only nice staff if the check in and a few drs. Staff is just rude, they do not want to be there and you can see with their attitude. Some doctors don't even excuse themselves and the nurses come back with your discharge papers. They dont even ask if I have more questions or anything.

Fantastic experience: Kaiser is by far the best health care organization in all of the US (maybe the world) and this Inglewood office lives up to that standard. I've been with Kaiser for the past 8 years and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Pathare is my Dr. and she's the best. For the most part my appointments have always been on time with very short waits. But more importantly Kaiser doesn't scrimp on diagnosing and treating us. On the contraire they are very thorough and proactive. I recently transitioned to Medicare and I could go anywhere for healthcare. But as far as I'm concerned Kaiser is the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Landsdowne performed my surgery and it was a successful one. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, caring, and supportive. I had some doubts about having the surgery, but after meeting with Dr. Landsdowne she calmed my doubts and fears. She has been awesome before my surgery and after. Thank you vey much Dr. Landsdowne.

Negative experience: Staff is extremely RUDE and GHETTO! The ladies that check you in at reception #102 are the rudest people I've ever experienced at Kaiser. They all need customer service and etiquette training.

Fantastic experience: very helpful and the staff are beautiful, expically i went there with my mom. Whom is a 2 type Diabetes, the staff who was attending us was very help and even try speaking in Spanish (which i give her up, for giving & trying her best to communicate with my mom ). Thank You.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to this kaiser in Inglewood , my Doctor , Dr. Pathare, Sandhya was amazing , very friendly and explained all my symptoms so that I understood them correctly . The older nurse that is part of her staff is so sweet I loved her so much . The parking is a little difficult to find space here and there So I do recommend going a little earlier . But all and all It’s very satisfying knowing that I can depend on possibly making this my new doctors office once I make that switch .

Negative experience: Came in for an appointment with Doctor James Gray and was told to be here 15 minutes early, which I was. The doctor was 30 minutes late after my appointment time! When I asked the nurse how much longer it would be she yelled at me that if I didn’t want to wait, That I could come back! I went back into the room to wait when the nurse slammed the door closed. To top it off the note I requested for (for work) had the incorrect dates after I just told him three times. Had to wait another 20 minutes for the correct note. Terrible service, this was my first time at this office.. and I will not be returning!
