Positive experience: Great Care, Disappointing Billing Resolution My daughter received excellent care here for quite some time, and scheduling and communication were always handled well. Unfortunately, we ran into a major billing issue. Due to an error on my insurance’s side, multiple overpayments were sent automatically. While this was not the clinic’s fault, resolving it became very difficult once I notified them. The office uses a third-party billing company, and I ultimately had to work directly with my insurance to track down proof that the payments had been received and cashed after the clinic stated they never received them. When I attempted to discuss this in person after months of back-and-forth, the interaction with the chiropractor was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. When I tried to clarify that I was not accusing him or the clinic of wrongdoing, I was cut off and told, “I’m not done.” I was made to feel like a nuisance rather than a long-standing client trying to resolve a legitimate issue. Although he did say he would review the situation and correct it if needed, the tone and handling of the conversation were disappointing. Because of this experience, we will not be returning, which is unfortunate given the quality of care my daughter previously received.

Fantastic experience: To say that Dr. Vennell is the best chiropractor that I have ever been to would be a gross understatement. He has changed my life. When I first went into his office for x-rays I could barely stand up to complete them because my back and body was hurting so badly. I have had multiple injuries to my body over many years. I was on all kinds of prescriptions. Thanks to him I am now off of all but one. I am active and doing the things that I love and have been missing out of for years. Fantastic experience: Dr. Vennell and his staff have been amazing! I was extremely nervous to let anyone adjust my 6 month old. After our sessions with Dr. Venelle, she is colic free and all her reflux issues are pretty much gone!! It has been such an amazing transition and such a better quality of life with a happy well adjusted baby!

Fantastic experience: Infertility and miscarriages were our reality just a year ago. We tried for 2 years and lost 2 babies in the process, the last being a year prior. It was so frustrating because there was nothing "medically" wrong with neither my husband nor I. We wanted to try something different since the fertility drugs just weren't cutting it. That's when I found Dr. Vennell. I called his office and within 20 minutes, he personally called me back. He took a brief history of our situation and we were sitting in his office the next day. He had already created a plan of care for us and we started that very day. Within 6 weeks, I was pregnant and am now currently holding our sweet 2 month old child. I truly believe God put Dr. Vennell in our lives and am so thankful for everything he has done for us.

Fantastic experience: I wish I would have started with Dr. V. YEARS ago!! He has turned my health completely around. I suffer from a blood disease that affects me every month along with 2 bulging and torn discs in my lower back. Through thorough testing and supplements he has brought my disease in an almost non-existent state. I no longer suffer from the disease or the loss of energy with it. Dr. V. sees me once a week now (down from 3 times a week in the beginning) to continue getting my back into proper alignment and repair. My husband also started with him a couple of months after me and he is currently working with Dr. V. to get his blood pressure under control along with repairing his bone spurs in his neck. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. V. for ANYONE with health related issues!!

Fantastic experience: I personally had some serious reservations about going to a chiropractor, until I saw the difference that Dr. Mike Vanell @ Spine & Sports had made after helping my husband with some hip problems. My husband had some major issues that were causing extreme amounts of pain for him, and after just one visit correctly diagnosed the problem and began to correct the issue. My husband began to feel incredible relief immediately and now only goes in for maintenance visits. After some agonizing pain in my neck following a recent surgery for breast cancer, I decided to give Dr. Vanell a call. Upon my first visit, he completely put me at ease with his professionalism and comfortable atmosphere. His staff is also very pleasant to work with. Dr. Vanell is very knowledgeable in his field and gets only the HIGHEST of recommendations from me and my husband. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at Dr. Vennell's clinic. He was able to see me the same day I called in. The clinic itself is outstanding. It is very clean and I was impressed with the range of medical equipment inside. Dr. Vennell was very thorough and I was pleased with the amount of time he spent explaining what was causing my back pain. I will for sure be coming back.

Fantastic experience: I never had much faith in chiropractory, until a year ago when I developed a pinched nerve. My supervisor referred me to Dr. Vennell because I was in so much pain and utterly miserable. I am grateful for the referral. Dr. Vennell took x-rays and was able to show me what was causing the pain. Being able to fix it without medications was fantastic because shortly after the initial consultation, I found out I was pregnant and taking pain killers while taking being pregnant was not something I was too keen on. I continued to see Dr. Vennell throughout my pregnancy for the nerve and to adjust some of the pressure my pregnant body developed, making me so much more comfortable. Dr. Vennell has become just as important as the family doctor and treats my husband and infant son. I know it may sound strange to take an infant to the chiropractor but Dr. Vennell knows what he is doing and has helped to reduce my son's acid reflux and colic. Before his first adjustment, we were told by his doctor to give him Mylanta as needed, every four to six hours. I was concerned how much Mylanta he was taking because it seemed we were always giving him to help with his tummy. After the first adjustment, we went from giving him anti-acids every four to six hours to giving him a dose about once a month maybe. The adjustments have made life much easier and my son happier. I would recommend Dr. Vennell's clinic to family, friends, and anyone who is in pain.

Fantastic experience: I was having issues resulting from a concussion i got from a motorcycle accident. I heard about the Spine and Sports Wellness business during a Veterans Day program and seen there booth. I decided to try them out to correct my issues due to my concussion. Within 5 visits i felt 85% better! I now am almost back to 100% but need the maintenance to stay on top off of things. I highly recommend Dr. Vennell and his team especially if you have any head trauma issues that need to be cleared up.

Fantastic experience: I'm not sure where to even begin. My husband has had 13 brain surgeries & a concussion in July this year. Bryans balance, memory, & speech had all been affected due to the trauma. I had been in such fear I'd contacted the Alzheimer's dept at Baylor University. Bryan also suffered daily with head pain, the kind that debilitates most. That was his biggest complaint, add he had begun to get lost, & fell down a lot. To some I may be rambling, to someone hopeless, I want to give you hope. I understood subluxation, I didn't understand the brain.... guess who does?! We have more than hope restored, Bryan is being restored before my eyes. Things thought to be dead in his brain are being awakened. He isn't forgetful anymore, I don't know the last time he fell down, the head pain at times is nonexistent. We are still a work in progress, we had been everywhere, left hopeless. Hear me there is help, give the dr a try. Not everyone has such an extreme case, the reoccurring theme is we aren't heard, symptoms are treated, cause is never found...... today the root has been dug up & the source is being addressed. So yeah, hope restored & healing in the house!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Vennell gave me my life back! I had multiple neck and back problems. I was also suffering from extreme stomach issues. I just hadn't felt well for years. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Hypothyroid. I figured that was why I didn't feel good. Dr. Vennell is a Functional Medicine doctor as well. He looks at the whole body and not just chiropractic adjustments. He is so knowledgeable about the whole system. He offered to run a thorough lab test, more than a general doctor would run. My numbers were so out of order it explained so much. With his directions of certain exercises, new diet and supplements I started feeling better within a month. My stomach issues are gone. My neck and back are better and is still a work in progress. My energy has increased and I feel better daily. As he explained this is a new lifestyle that I must follow if I want to feel good and live a quality life.
