Fantastic experience: They were very sweet, thorough and helpful. Even though they didn’t have the equipment to diagnose me, they did all they could and referred me to someone who could.
Fantastic experience: No wait and loved the doctor who oversaw my care. He was very thorough in how he explained everything to me and didn’t rush through my appointment. After my appointment, the clinic even followed up to see how I was doing. Highly recommend.
Fantastic experience: it is extremely important to understand the mindset that a patient comes in with during an acute emergency. Anxiety, forgetfulness and fidgeting are common place amongst people who are experiencing a health emergency. However, as a person who works in medicine, I can tell you that physicians aren’t always patient when a patient comes in displaying these behaviors. They often rush them, which contributes to the nervousness, and to be honest, it doesn’t give the patient a good view of the facility. Freedom Urgent Care is in a different caliber altogether. They are understanding and meet their patients at their level. They don’t talk over you or at you, they talk to you and the conversation goes both ways. Not only did I get a diagnosis and feel much better after leaving, but I also received information regarding a completely different diagnosis that I hadn’t had leads on in years! This is truly a wonderful place to be seen for anybody who lives in the Killeen area.

Negative experience: I went in with extreme gout pain in my ankle that was very swollen. The dr had never seen gout and only prescribed 3 pills to help and said if didn’t get better to call next day… it wasn’t better and we called the dr and couldn’t talk to her, had to leave a message and still have no more medicine 2 days later! I am still in extreme pain! Not happy with my experience at all!!!

Fantastic experience: Freedom Urgent Care has been my first choice for urgent care since they opened. Fantastic experience: The staffing personnel from the receptionist, nurse/xray technician, and doctor were friendly, professional, and quick. They were very clear, as well as, patient when explaining what my problem was and how to treat myself once i went home. They made sure i understood what to do if my problem didn’t go away in the time frame they gave me. This is the 2nd time I have been here and both experience were great for me.

Negative experience: I registered for a 1pm appt. I wasn’t seen until after 1:45pm. The wait room started with one other person then it was just me. Dr came in after 2pm, pushed my stomach, told me there was nothing he could do. Less than two minutes with the dr, it was over. Wasted time and insurance money. Friends told me later that I should never go there. I know now.

Fantastic experience: Better than a hospital. The nurses and physicians were extremely empathetic to my plight. Especially due to my skin condition , which causes abscesses that require an I&D. My doctor was very patient and guided me every step of the way since I was traumatized from my last procedure at another medical facility. Please give them a try, you’re in good hands.

I felt like she just wanted to get me out of the room and didn't seem very concerned with the fact my head was still pounding and brushed me off. Positive experience: Long wait, 1-1/2 from scheduled arrival before taken back and then waiting in room to be seen. None of the three supposed medical professionals I saw said who or what they were. Asked man who came in to see me, who he was, my name is ____, then I had to ask what he was , “I am the PA”. Should not have to ask a caregiver who and what they are.

Negative experience: I brought my baby in for a cough, rash, a slight fever, ear tugging, and other sick like behaviors. Since he was not acting unwell when we got there they just brushed it off. He’s acting well because he’s curious and is going to be interested in a new environment and people. They just checked his ears and oxygen and temp. I felt like I had to push for them to even check his ears.

Negative experience: Just left after being treated by PA Mark Ortiz and I'm very unhappy with how I was spoken to. Basically blamed me for my reoccurrence of sinus issues. I told him I've got a lot going on right now that are preventing me from getting allergy shots twice a week for 3 years straight and he said "well you gotta make time or you end up in the urgent care twice in one week" Extremely arrogant and offering unsolicited "advice" and lecturing a grown adult who just is trying to feel better. Don't recommend keeping him around.

Positive experience: Nice place, clean, staff were polite. The PA was nice enough...but he was not very careful when ordering my medication. It took 2 trips to the clinic explaining to them the errors. With the holiday weekend the pharmacy was not open Sunday or Monday. Had it been a serious health problem I would have been in a world of hurt.

Negative experience: I arrived at the Clear Creek location about 1 hoping for a walk in They asked why i was there and I said my BP was very high. They had no appointments till 5:15 but I could get in to the ws young location at 3:15. I drove there filled the form and paid my copay I was not called back till 4:20 waited another 30 minutes then the Dr came in and said he can treat Blood Pressure issues. He was very nice and it's not his fault but the office Staff should have known this and been honest. Needless to say I learned a lesson and will NOT be back. Total waste of time and money.

Fantastic experience: Everyone there did everything they could for my ingrown toenail removal and they were all very caring even after the Locane I still wasn’t numb enough to not feel the pain and they were very understanding asking me if it hurts or if it did I asked to just get it done they were very fast and professional hands down the best experience from my few times I’ve gone to a doctors office for something this is my favorite place to go to and will be my main place of going when need be

Fantastic experience: I am happy to share my experience because it was such a good one and I got the help I needed. It’s nice to be treated so well during a time when you go to urgent care for any reason. Very polite, nice, respectful staff all way from reception to of course the provider I saw. He listened to my issue and really seemed to care about helping me. And he did! I was so thankful ! This was by far the best “urgent care” experience I’ve ever had.

I don’t understand why everyone doesn’t do it the same way. You arrive and sign in and they give you a time when you can come back so you don’t have to sit there bore waiting like other hospitals. I even received a follow up call from Lori next day to see how I was feeling. Also I never felt rushed, which is not what I can say about most medical facilities I’ve visited my whole life. Negative experience: This happened years ago, but I still don't trust this clinic. During the pandemic, I went to get tested for COVID. They stuck the swab up BOTH nostrils. When they gave me the results, they told me that I shouldn't worry about getting COVID because I was young. Sure, nevermind the fact that I could spread it to others more vulnerable, like my mom I lived with that worked at a nursing home at the time. This clinic is the reason I will never visit a medical facility with the words "American," "Freedom," "Liberty," or any other word those people don't understand in the name of the business. Not worth it, don't recommend, they clearly have an agenda.

Negative experience: I went in on Saturday and received a couple of prescriptions to deal with the flu. It’s now Wednesday and I still haven’t received my medication because the urgent care can’t call the pharmacy to work out an issue they made with the dosage prescription. I’ve called the clinic every day to have them get this figured out but in the meantime my cough has gotten worse. I’m disappointed because the point of an urgent care is to get quick treatment.

Fantastic experience: You have to sign in to the check in. Then you can go home and come back for your check in time. You get seen in the order you check in. This is not an appointment. It’s just to minimize your wait. Once you arrive for your check in time you could still be waiting depending on the people before you and the intensity of their procedure. We went in and the check in saved us waiting 3 hours in their waiting room. We still had to wait an hour but it’s better than 4 hours in the waiting room or 8 in an emergency room. The doctors are nice and will take their time with any questions you have and the nurses and support staff are friendly.

Negative experience: A not Walk-In Not so Urgent Care! I came in at 0800 to get something to help me sleep with a kinked neck. Was told I’d have to wait till 11:30 to be seen. Then got bumped up to 12:00 because a lady who was after me said she wanted it. I showed up to my appointment at 11:50 to check in. It’s now 12:30 and still not seen. Asked the reception when I will be seen and was told I have 4 unscheduled patients in front of me. How come do I have to schedule in but others don’t? Is it a Walk in or not?

Negative experience: The customer service lady at the front desk, (no Hana) very rude. Services not really good. I don't see much patients. But wanting room almost two hours. My X-ray very slow, because the other lady with Marjorie was in training. I have to wait until Marjorie explained to the other lady the every procedure, while I'm waiting with bad pain. My husband had to open the door to the room where we were because it had been too long waiting for me. However, Chris didn't like it. My husband was in fasting for a blood test for his prostate cancer. According to the entry and exit papers, three hours fifteen minutes, where they only prescribe me one medicine and that I have to return to work with restrictions, where the accident was caused by one of the children; and there are 16 children to help them, how to avoid restrictions.

Negative experience: Waited for 2 hours to be seen. Waited another hour in the examination room. When I went to the nurses station they completely ignored me. When I asked Where the exit was she says “oh. I didn’t know you needed anything.” I was standing right in front of her. As I’m leaving the receptionist calls me and says “Your tests came back negative so you should be fine.” I wasnt seen by a physician. I’m sure they are still going to bill my insurance. And I’m still sick. The worst visit. And I will Not be going back to this location.

Negative experience: If I could give 0 stars I would! I don’t think anyone that is working today wants to be here. From reception to the back. I’ve never seen people move more slow! I swabbed my own son because of the incompetence of the MA. She could barely hold her eyes open. Not sure what was going on there. I am absolutely NOT impressed and will NOT BE BACK! Almost 3 hours for a strep test. I work in healthcare and have never seen the amount of disregard, incompetence, lack of enthusiasm, and terrible care that I saw today!

Fantastic experience: Freedom Urgent Care is a great place. Everyone was professional and friendly and I felt I was getting the care I needed. To get started the online register link I was able to sign up get my information and provide the needed documentation so that when I do arrive for my appointment it was too easy to just wait for my turn to be service outstanding job. I look forward if I have to to come back to freedom urgent care because the VA sent me the great options to get it done I trust them and I do appreciate the support Taking care of me 100%. Thank you freedom urgent Care. Once again Freedom Urgent Care provided with me with great service and support I had an injury on my shoulder and everything was great to make you feel like home. Great customer service. I needed x-rays, doctor consult with me at the end to make sure that I understood and have any other questions or problems then at the end of course medication pick-up options. thank goodness for freedom Urgent Care.

Positive experience: Nice and clean. Customer service was very pleasant and professional. Only thing I didn’t like was the fact I let them know I was allergic to penicillin and sulfur and was given a prescription for amoxicillin which the pharmacy said is basically penicillin. Need to pay more attention to those details because if I would have taken that medication I would have been in the hospital. Thanks goodness to the pharmacist who called me and told me I can’t take that medication because of my allergic reactions to penicillin. So they call the dr to get a different medication

Fantastic experience: Went in yesterday evening to find out if I had the flu or covid. The personnel at the front desk were really nice, the staff in the back were compassionate, caring and thorough. I truly appreciate all they did for me yesterday.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this urgent care center has been friendly, attentive, and they get me in and out pretty quickly. Their online appointment system is quick and easy to do. Even the insurance process is fast. It’s right up the street from my house, so I will continue to see them.

Negative experience: I went in with allergies consisting of a sore throat and laryngitis. At my request, I received a kenelog shot. That evening I begin coughing while laying down. The next day I asked if I could get a cough syrup called in to assist with the cough and so I could sleep at night. I was told I would have to be re-evaluated in order to add the cough suppressant. I was not willing to pay ANOTHER $240 just to get cough syrup. Ridiculous and a rip off! I won’t go there again nor will I recommend them. There are plenty of others that will do the right thing by a patient without seeing $$$ signs. He wasn’t even a doctor….i think maybe a CMA or CNA. Definitely won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: Best experience I have had with a medical provider since we've been in Killeen. Provider listened well, wasn't condescending or judgemental like most of the Physicians/PA's I've encountered locally.

Fantastic experience: I’m always able to use the online check-in service which is amazing. The staff were prompt, sympathetic and listened to my issues without treating me as if I don’t know my body. Negative experience: Got there at 9am said they were doing work comp physicals. No one was being seen finally at 1130 I was sent over to ws young to be seen there. It should be first come first scene Evie could barely sit she was so sick. Had diarrhea but their bathroom was closed. Worst walk in clinic ever.

Fantastic experience: This urgent care is amazing. They were so good with my daughter. Made her feel comfortable and treated her amazingly. Definitely recommend going here. Also the wait wasn't long at all. I think overall we were in and out within 2 1/2 hours.

Negative experience: It took way to long to be seen. Walk-in - waited almost 2 hours to check in and more than an hour afterwards to be seen. Was seen by nurse and then waited almost an hour to be seen by the doctor and then another 30 minutes for xray and another 15-20 minutes to to see doctor again for results. The clinic was not busy at the time. Going somewhere else next time for my Urgent care :(

Fantastic experience: The doctor and nurse that took care of me and my baby girl were extremely kind, thorough, and helpful. I don’t give reviews often, but I thought that this place and their staff deserved one for their service. The doctor (think his name was Chris?) and the nurse, Kelly, gave the sincere care my baby girl needed. The doctor was very informational and competent. His confidence and ability to break down my game plan as a parent with a daughter suffering from a scary fever, was very reassuring. I pray that God continues to watch over these angels that work so hard to reassure parents like me in times of scary medical situations.
